I had to go to the ER two days ago for what turned out to be a heart problem. I was pretty uncomfortable and I wasn't in the waiting room one minute before they were taking me inside. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and efficient. Dr. Laucomer was awesome because because he said I was a difficult case and he had to check a lot of things. I could see he was doing everything he could to get a handle on my situation. You can't find nicer, more competent people than these. read more

This hospital is by far the worst healthcare facility I have ever had the misfortune of using. They have incorrectly billed and/or overcharged every procedure. To make matters worse, I went to the hospital with a serious injury and had to be sent by ambulance to Salt Lake City for surgery. They sent me to a hospital that was out of network for me, even though they knew my insurance information. I am now on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars of bills that I am still trying to get covered after nine months. I will drive to Park City before I ever go to this ridiculous place again. read more

I'd put no stars if I could. This hospital overcharges! It's nearly impossible to get a claim put in correctly and when you ask to speak to a supervisor they argue with you! Get better customer service and save yourself money by going to park city if you can. read more

Over Thanksgiving, I was experiencing a migraine so severe I ended up at the ER. I have ankylosing spondylitis which causes major flare ups around my major joints and back. Sadly to say, this migraine was a result of my disease. Morphine wasnt touching it. I was in such excruciating pain in my head, opening my eyes and light would cause it to go worse and me to throw up. The staff at ERH was so kind, professional, courteous to my disease and very thorough. They were doing everything possible to get me to feeling better. I ended up staying thru Thursday, Friday and mostly Saturday. I just wanted to say thank you for the support and care I received from these wonderful people. Iy seems all we here about any more is the negative experiences. I wanted to give a positive one. read more

Stay away if you want to live.. The care is horrible . They only want your money , they do unnecessary tests just to generate income.

I have had to attend the ER twice over the past few years and with two different insurance providers. Each time I find that the Evanston Hospital is covered in network, but the ER doctors are not. Evanston hospital contracts their ER doctors from a company in Chicago, Il. They are not in network. This company is difficult to work with and do not like to accept the normal contracted insurance rate. A $298 bill will become $1233 dollar bill. Evanston hospital is a "for profit" hospital. I would rather risk my health and suffer the pain, than stop in there again. Terrible customer service from the administration of this hospital. The Dr.'s and nurses are decent. read more

I was checked in ok, but then sat in a cold room for 35 minutes before the doctor walked in . With no sorry or explanation. This place is a joke. First I had to beg them for a CT scan after a ATV rolled over on top of me because they didn't want to call in their radiologist! Then they billed me for the entire ER charge even though they have my insurance information. My advice: save yourself the headache and go to a better hospital. read more

went in while traveling for a horrible ear infection. Gave them my Kaiser information, They didn't want me to pay the co-pay... Weird but okay, they will inform kaiser and I will pay my co-pay. I then keep on getting calls saying they want to sign me up for drug trials even after I tell them to stop calling. (at least 15 so far in 3 months) I then Keep on getting statements say I owe it. I call them (each phone call takes 45 minutes to over an hour) and explain, they then require me to call kaiser, and have kaiser call them... This has happened 3 times where I call them to rebill kaiser, then 3 MORE times where I have to keep on calling them because they keep on snail mailing me threatening to send me to collections! The prices here are outrageous!!!!!! I had lab work run here (they didn't even have to draw the blood as I work in healthcare) and for two lab tests they charged me over $800!!! UNBELIEVEABLE! I went here so I didn't have to drive to Utah. You can bet I'll be going to Utah for everything now. They should be ashamed of these prices. YIKES!!!!! read more

my grandson was taken there, he never seen a doctor just a nurse, they could not tell us what was wrong with him, so they sent him home told us to bring him back the next day if he got worse, they handed his parents a bill from prior years that had been taken care of, so now my grandson is being seen at another hospital because this hospital connot seem to do their jobs, very bad and i mean very bad hospital, if you dont want to die dont go to this hospital, they proceed to tell me that they have treated alot of my family members there, which is a joke because i only have 3 family members the rest have all passed away, this hospital is a freaking joke i wont even rate them with 1 star do not go here to this hospital. read more
