Highlights: * Met incredible authors like Larry Robertson (wordssavedlives.com), Signe Damron (signe-ture.com), Jordan Burton (theartbyjburt.com), Joseph Doherty (joeydoherty.com), Sylvia Harris (srdharrisbooks.com), and Lachandra Baker (lbbedutainment.com). * Copped two animated kids' books for $25 -- signed directly to my beau's niece, who immediately clutched them like treasures. ("It says my name!" she screamed as her mom got guilt-tripped into reading them...again. ) AND I got a book of poetry from Larry, and will plan to visit Jordan's art exhibit at ROY G BIV before the end at May 2nd! It warmed my heart to recognize faces from the Main Library Literary Fair, the First Annual Poetry Festival, and Zora's House events. Considering my ancestors risked their lives to read, I don't take the beauty of these moments lightly. Major love and respect to everyone keeping the literary flame alive. The rate was fair and honestly after looking around, it was one of the options that was priced well. The balloon twisters did an excellent job! The kids at the party had the best time choosing from a wide variety of options and it kept them well entertained. The twisters made some of the coolest balloons that I have never seen like wands that light up inside and a fishing pole with a fish hanging off the hook. They were very impressive designs. I wish I had more pictures, but as the host of the party got caught up in other things. I still owed the twisters the rest of the balance for the booking during the party. However, I was so caught up in the party chaos I realized later that they had left without collecting the rest of the balance. I had only needed to put a $20 deposit in advance. I sent the rest of the balance along with a tip the next morning of the party through Zelle and the company correspondent who I had been in contact with let me know that they did not want to disturb me at the party for the rest of the balance as I was busy. I thought this gesture was very sweet! I highly recommend this company for your party entertainment needs. They have other things too like face painters and other rentals. I will definitely use them again as I received punctual service and they are great at what they do!
