Dr. Seigie Kennedy (owner of Ever After Psychology) is a licensed clinical psychologist with a decade of experience in the field of mental health. She is an expert in areas of trauma, and sexual and relationship health. She specializes in working with Veterans and LGBTQIA+ folx, as well as individuals and couples experiencing any of the following: - childhood trauma - sexual trauma - birth trauma - military-related stressors/trauma - other trauma/stressor related issues - sex addiction - chronic pain - recovery from infidelity - relationship distress - pre-marital counciling - relationships strengthening - other relationship related issues

History

Established in 2023.

Although Ever After Psychology is a brand new practice (opened July 2023), owner and Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Seigie Kennedy, has a decade of experiences in the field of mental health. In 2013, she got her start working with individuals experiencing mental illness and homelessness in 2013, and working in the inpatient behavioral unit at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. She specialized in working with victims and survivors of sexual assault as a NYS certified sexual assault counselor prior to starting her doctoral program at Binghamton University, where she studied the effects of trauma on sexual and relationship health. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Syracuse VAMC in 2021 and earned her PhD from Binghamton University in 2021. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at MindWell Psychology.
