Very disappointing experience at the Rockwall playa bowl location…read more I have visited at least 10 different Playa bowl locations and have always received consistent portions and quality. At this location, the fruit cup was significantly smaller than what I've received elsewhere--essentially a small cup of strawberries with very little Nutella for nearly $6. When we politely showed the manager, Kaylyn, photos of fruit cups from other locations, she dismissed our concerns and simply said, "We do it different here." When we questioned why this location was so different from every other Playa bowl we've visited, she rudely told us she would give us a larger cup to pour the strawberries into ourselves, but she would not remake it. Rather than handling the situation professionally, she laughed and exchanged looks with her coworkers while we were expressing our concerns, all in front of a new employee who appeared to be in training. She also rolled her eyes during the interaction. As someone in a management position, I found that behavior completely unprofessional. The owner came over and explained that this location does things differently, but no solution was offered. We also noticed the coffee tasted different from other Pliable locations and observed different ingredients being used than what we were told. The biggest disappointment was not the product itself, but the poor customer service and lack of professionalism when handling a reasonable customer concern. This is the first Playa bowl location I've visited that I would not return to. I've attached photos to show the different fruit cups I had ordered at a Tennessee location vs the rockwall location. I was only persons not in yoga pants, or gym bug outfit, but it was my recovery day. of all these high-calorie Smoothie Bowls, I chose the lowest, 480 calories, the "Bee Berry Sting" bowl: Pitaya (dragonfruit) powder smoothie base, topped with pieces of fresh mango, fresh strawberries, and fresh blueberries... and also some sugary rock-hard granola. The pitaya was decent for a powder mix, I hope it maintains the Vitamin C level of the fresh fruit. The mango, strawberry, and Blueberry part was very good, fresh & flavorful. The granola was ridiculous, like caliche gravel for roads. If I try this again, hold the granola. The $11 price tag should get a better quality.

I joined for $10 and was able to get a really delicious almond butter smoothie with cacao for a chocolate taste! Found some very nice facial tallow cream, white willow tincture for pain and gluten free chocolate chip cookies. Thank you for being kind, offering help and being so knowledgeable. Most grateful! It was open and not crowded like my first visit. Spacious, stocked and clean!
