He made the process quick and easy. I asked him does this Dicks do a military discount..he says of course. 10 percent. I didnt know. I was surprised. So I'm like great show him my Military ID card. I go up to the cashier and I never been so disappointed in my life. The female cashier told the guy who helped me literally in front of me that she didnt care about the military and didnt give me the 10 percent discount. He was pretty upset. If it wasnt for my mother standing next to me I Would have cussed her the f#@! Out in front of everyone. I been deployed 8 times. For this to happen its incredibly hurtful. Wrangler, Ariat are both there, as well as many other jean brands to select from. They have plenty of sizes in stock as well. The salesman we talked to initially (when my husband was originally looking for work boots, but then decided he didn't need any) was super helpful, and guided our selection process. Steel toe and non-steel toe brands. I was able to purchase Ariat jeans for my husband, an off-brand Carhartt-type coat for my 11 year old son, and a t shirt for my 6 year old daughter. If you're waffling between brands of boots, I'd stop here. They had most (if not all) of each brand's lines of product.

Unfortunately that dealer thought we were suckers and would buy whatever "deal" they handed us. They flat out lied about prices and "cutting commissions" just for us. We almost gave in, then decided maybe this just wasn't our year. Then we found Vance's. What an amazing experience!! We spoke with Scott and Trey over email and phone calls and they were so incredibly nice! They are 3 hours from us, so we didn't want any surprises. They were detailed and informative every step of the way. We bought our boat, sight unseen and headed out to pick her up. But there were surprises....Mark and Hunter! My goodness....such incredible people! We had a small hiccup with our trailer but everything came out perfectly. Hunter made us feel as if we were family and helped us get all our necessary gear for our first ever boat. Mark!! How we wish we could have brought him home for private lessons (and a day on the lake! )! He took us out on Buckeye Lake and introduced us to our new boat, no rush, took whatever time we needed. The one thing about all 4 of the men we worked with is that no one made us feel stupid for knowing very little about boating. They answered every question without judgement. There is a sign by the main road, but you have to be on the lookout for it as you might go right past it (traffic can be heavy and moves quickly along this stretch of road). There isn't a huge amount of parking here, but I've never seen a tremendous number of cars in the parking lot so parking isn't a problem. The grounds are clean and presentable. Interior: this place is packed with inventory! There are no signs for the different sections, but wandering through is fun if you come here. The "aisles" are large enough to move through comfortably, though too many people in a given section might get crowded. Staff: the associates are great! I have always been greeted upon arrival and they are quick to assist customers when trying to find a specific product. They are very polite, professional, and courteous. Product: as I mentioned earlier, this store has lots of inventory! Boots, clothing, packs, tactical gear, knives, patches, camping accessories, and the list goes on. There are so many items here you may discover things you didn't expect! I have found many of the items are priced far lower than mainline stores with the same products. I prefer to come here first to see if they have the item(s) I seek so I can save some money. All the product I purchase has been of very good quality to exceptional quality and has lasted far longer than items I've found in mainline stores (after all, must of it is military surplus). Overall, this is a great store to find a huge selection of items, some of which might be hard to find. The staff is wonderful and the products are less expensive, but of better quality.
