Although I have never been in the building my contact with covid testing staff is phenomenal . The parking lot has signage and traffic cones that lead to testing site . There is also someone that can confirm your heading in the right direction . If you follow instructions and have your Drivers license on the front dash of your vehicle things go fast . Have your mask on and Windows up . The first station gets your paperwork and covid test kit . Second station is where the test is given . These people are dealing with a very contagious illness but are very friendly and helpful . I have tested positive twice now and I'm greatful for the peace of mind that I can get swift testing and fast results . read more

I have been receiving my medical care from the University of Chicago for about 13 yrs. The Doctors and staff are always polite and concerned about my well being. My primary care is at the Hyde Park facility, but when its feasible I come to the Orland Park facility. Both are great and I highly recommend them. read more

I scheduled an appointment at this office, and took the time to commute there more than once and come in for my visit only to be turned away both times by staff that struggled to find answers as to why I could not be seen. the first time because I was 5min late and the second time I had been cancelled without prior notification before my appointment date only to receive a lame excuse that the obviously racist doctor, Doctor Johnathan Shin wouldn't see me. when asked why? the answer was because it was the doctors choice to decline due to rescheduling once. when I asked the confused non caring receptionist whose response was, "this office doesn't play about scheduling" for the office manger who was female, she never showed her face hiding in an office and gave a number through the receptionist to make a complaint although she claims she to be the one who makes all decisions that will have you wasting your time and faced with cowardly advice to call a complaint line but they won't be able to assist. not a facility who cares. some hospital, smh.Only here to collect insurance money. Dr. Hicks is a Physiatrist .He has given me injections in my knees and other joints several times and they're practically pain-free! Great bedside manner, very kind Dr. Dr. A Muthalaly Is located in Joliet at a University of Chicago medicine location. Dr.M is a Rheumotologist ,so smart ,knows what she's doing !I'm so grateful to her for getting me back to where I could walk again. Remember folks...WE pay their salaries! They should be serving us rather than us groveling and being SO thankful to get an appt. This review covers Farah Hassan, endocrinologist as well as the infusion department with Ramparwala, MD as head. I never have had such unprofessional, poor treatment. Ramarwala and Hassan support the terrible, poor administration. Hassan didn't even say anything when my TPO thyroid levels were high enough for me to get cancer. I had to constantly call to get it checked. YES, you have to be your own doctor now, you have to be able to understand everthing they will not do. They overbook, they take time to read your results. Oh, you got cancer? This happened at the main hospital as well as the new Orland Park location. The nurses talk constantly, fiddle with personal phones instead of working. They ignored me for 45 mins while I was waiting for an infusion ( lying down in agony ); I had to ask them what was going on that I was waiting so long? A nurse disappeared for 10 minutes while waiting for them to disconnect the infusion line. I finally took it out myself. When I complained, I was criticized for complaining (for the 5th time). They even wrote a letter telling me they didn't like my complaints. I met another patient who told me they tell her know her doctor wasn't showing up. Remember - WE pay their salaries. I will add, if you complain to certain nurses, you will get the "disrespect" word. I was disrespecting her for asking for quiet? I will never, never, ever go to U of Chicago again. Bedside manner? It's gone. Be a good little sheep and pay their salaries? Not me. I will add, I am a health care professional. They deserve a ZERO. read more

I went there to see an Orthopedic Surgeon. I was given one at their main campus, and an appointment was made. After I arrived, the Dr. took an X-ray of my foot. I was told the cyst was superficial and not in my bone. Prior to this, my Oncologist sent me to a dermatologist at the main campus, who sent me to Orland, because she would not touch the cyst. The Dr. at Orland is retired from surgery so I had to take an MRI and I was to see another Dr., to see if it needed surgery. The MRI was taken and I received a phone call telling me to call this new Dr. I was informed that she did not specialize in the cyst I have and because I have Leukemia they gave yet another Dr. They actually set the appointment with him on the main campus for a specific time and day without CONSULTING me! It has taken 4 Drs. and I still have the cyst.....................So much for the Forefront of Medicine! read more

The doctors here are great but everything else about this facility is slow! I consistently wait over an hour to see the doctor every time I come here. What is the point of an appointment time if they are never on time? It's so frustrating and feels like a lack of concern for patient's time. I don't wait nearly as long downtown but Orland Park has some serious issues. read more
