This store is so fun. Everywhere I turn I see something of interest and appeal. I touch a lot, backtrack a lot to revisit items, I smile a lot, I sample hand lotion, I nibble on free treats. It is not easy working with the public. However, in retail, craft shops etc., it is important for the folks that walk though their doors feel welcome. My husband and I did not feel welcome. STOP IN ---- EXCELLENT CURATED SELECTION OF ADORABLE ITEMS. Prices are reasonable. No kidding. A friend bought a pretty bracelet for $14. I saw a stuffed animal in the window that was a perfect gift for my niece. I truly expected it to cost way more than it did. I could have bought all of my Christmas presents in this shop. For me, the name was deceiving but I'm glad I went in! This isn't a "craft store" but a large gift store with everything from bags & pjs to spice mixes and pocket knives. Service was very friendly and helpful. There's something here for everyone. Love that the staff all wore masks, it means they're prioritizing safety and I appreciate that. It seemed that people shopping were too. Anyway, this is a fun store that is a regular stop every year after the Dam Duck Derby and I never walk out empty handed. Walked in here while on a work trip, was not greeted by the front desk while everyone else was, felt super un easy and unwelcome seconds after walking in. I was observing some soap and smelling it and I happen to turn around to some lady watching me, literally turned around and walked away after I saw she was just watching me. It's pretty easy to overlook this place and drive right by because from the highway it's kind of hard to tell that it isn't just part of the winery that is on the other side of it. When visiting you'll need to get a parking ticket validated that you are shopping here so you don't have to pay when you leave.
