It's always scary to see a vet that you don't know. I'll be forever grateful we got an appointment for July 3 to see Dr Hudson. She is "the cat whisperer". Dr. Hudson immediately diagnosed my cat with the beginning of an infection at the tooth extraction area and prescribed medication as well as recommended a blood draw to run labs. She was extremely thorough in her diagnosis and handled my cat with care. Before we departed she reviewed all the prescriptions to help hesk my cat and the front desk also reviewed each dosage and protocol to answer any questions. Dr. Hudson phoned us on July 5 to see how my cat was feeling and also review the continued protocol to bring my cat back to health.

Lotus was friendly, responsive, fit us in so my dog could get his rabies shot. I had to reschedule, then arrived 5 minutes late when I missed my turn, yet they never stopped smiling. Dr Culver was so reassuring and did an exam. I "thought" Maxwell had strained his leg playing with our puppy who is very rough and active with our poor older guy....but exam and some test found a joint infection in his hock area. Dr. Culver prescribed an antibiotic and a treatment program and we were on our way to recovery within a week. Dr. Culver is amazing with Maxwell, and provides great information and education with her treatments. somglad we found her!

They fired the vet, but my cat paid the price in the end. Chris is the most uncaring individual and should not be trusted with any pets well-being. If you don't take your pet there for shots and everything else every year they make you pay the price too. It is my choice who I use for vaccines, not up to them to dictate who gives it or how often. I had proof that my cats had vaccines, but they still didn't believe me! Finally this past weekend, Chris told me I was now a new patient because I hadn't been there in a while. And they weren't accepting new patients. That is the last time my pets suffered the consequences of supporting this poorly managed facility.

They canceled the appointment without any notice--no phone call, no message, nothing. The only reason we found out was because my mom called to ask what to expect and what she needed to bring. That's when she was told they were closed due to "unforeseen circumstances." To make matters worse, the woman on the phone was extremely rude and offered no guidance or support on what we could do next. There was zero compassion shown during a moment when we truly needed it. This is also not the first time they've canceled an appointment without notice, which makes this even more unacceptable. In times of grief, you expect at the very least basic communication and some level of empathy. I would absolutely NOT recommend this Banfield.
