I've waited awhile to post this review because I've been so angry about it for the last, almost, 2 years. We first met Katie at a home we were interested in. She seemed so knowledgeable about the house and the entire process that we felt we found a great realtor. We were also told that we were obligated to buy a house from the realtor who showed it to us... Anyway, we were fine with that at the time. We were then pushed off to a different realtor named Carla. She seemed fine so, again, not a big deal. We found our dream house and were SO excited to put a bid on it. When we did, it was quickly denied as they wanted their asking price. So I asked that we put back in a counter offer and we were told not to waste our time. Since this was our first home, I wasn't sure if this was normal or not but I trusted her. She quickly pushed us to a house that was new on the market and being sold by the owner who had flipped it. It wasn't in the best of neighborhoods but still in the school district we wanted to be in. We were told if we wanted it we had to make an offer asap bc the owner "wanted to sell to a family like us"; which in retrospect seems weird since he had no idea who we were and Carla seemed to know him well already. We put an offer in and it was very quickly accepted. Our inspector came and noted a bunch of things that needed fixing and also mentioned that since the house is old, we needed to get the pipe from the house to the street checked. The seller insisted that was unnecessary because it was brand new as well as all of the plumbing in the house. Now, this was our first house. We had no idea what a seller's disclosure was. We assumed our realtors had our backs and were on our side. Maybe others are, but Carla and Katie are not. We didn't get one, nor were we told we wouldn't be getting one. They just wanted the commission so they could be done. At our final walk-through, none of what we asked the seller to do was done. Carla nor Katie seemed to be bothered by this. In fact, the seller insisted these were things we could do on our own; like fix the windows that kept falling. We looked to the professionals we hired and at no point did they insist the seller take care of business. We signed and we got our house... We were happy until we realized every time we would take a shower, water went into the "water-proofed" basement. We called the plumber and he said it's either because the drains are clogged or because of the cracked pipe. When we asked him to explain, we found out that the seller lied to us about the pipe being brand new. It's a $16,000 fix and we never would have bought this house had we known. Why didn't we know?? Because there was no seller's disclosure... So here we are... stuck in a house that will eventually cost us a lot of money and all Carla and Katie wanted was this sale to be over so they could have their commission. When confronted about this, it was blown off as we knew about all of this. WE WERE FIRST TIME HOME-BUYERS!! Oh and to add insult to injury, the house we REALLY wanted sold for less than we offered. So to Carla and Katie, we trusted you both and you screwed us. I have told every single person I know that talks about buying or selling to stay away from your company. You should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

We reached out to express interest in renting a house in King of Prussia Pennsylvania. We later found out that what we read online, and what we were told after submitting an application ($76.00) were completely different. We walked into the house and found the carpets and bathroom were very, very dirty. However, we were told later by the realtor that they were planning on replacing the carpets after signing. When we walked into the house, we knew beforehand that the house was broken into apartments as it was listed as unit #1 on Compass.com. However, that was just the beginning of this nightmare. We were told that the washer and dryer were shared between the 1st and 2nd units. When I inquired about the electric bill, more specifically how the washing machine/dryer was metered out, it was made clear that the washer and dryer were to be put on our electric bill, but it was ok since they estimated to us (without seeing any bills) that it was $4.00 per tenant per month. Naturally, we were not going to pay for an upstairs tenant to use the washing machine. Then we were told we were responsible for snow removal on the property. There was nothing said in the lease about how quickly this needed to be done, and what responsibilities would be carried out by the upstairs tenant. So we asked, and got nothing. What we received was ok this is not a good deal. Needless to say my fiance and I have 730+ credit scores, and we had just relocated to the area. I had 30k in savings, and he had a job offer on hand. Then we were told that the owner would not be replacing carpets but instead would be sending a cleaning lady in; then we had to ask whether the cleaning lady had a professional cleaner, at which point they gave in and said they would be fixed. Then after we had filled out the application then we were told we would be responsible for paying $38.00 for trash collection per month. Her warmth and caring attitude made us feel like we were in safe hands. She was helping us with the sale of our home. Though the process took longer than expected to no fault of anyone, Brenda was able to be supportive and assuaged our concerns. She was patient and answered all our questions and made the process so much smoother. Her attention to details and knowledge of the market was really helpful. Her cookies were delicious too! EveryHome Relators was the listing Company for the home I was going to purchase. The agent's name was Sharon Sabellab she was a nightmare and that's putting it lightly. She called my realtor way to much it. The deal fell thru on 1/27/14 and when it came to getting my $2000 deposit back (Sharon) PLAYED MANY GAMES. She told her sellers that they deserved all deposit monies I put up. She tried to play lawyer. A month later Sharon said to my realtor "we'll give all the deposit money back, can you ask your client (me) if we can use her appraisal?" No you can't use my appraisal that I paid $375 for. Termination paperwork was finalized on 2/21/14. Took a month on Sharon's end for a signature. She wanted to keep $1000 of my money that was not happening. I contacted Katie on 3/24/14 she was never even told about the pending sale. Katie was apologetic and said she would resolve this issue quickly and was apologetic. Then the games got worse. She said most deposits are for $1000 and she would have to go to the bank to pull their deposits records, which she would do the following day. We'll 3 days later when I called her she said she was waiting for the bank deposits to get to her. (You can go right to the Bank for them). She asked me for copies of the 2 $1000 deposits, and I provided them to her. I got 1 $1000 deposit back in a timely manner, then communication stopped until I told her on a Wednesday I was going to file in court on Monday. She did overnight a check to me. She lied and said she sent a check and was worried I never got it. LIES!LIES!LIES! In total it took 2 1/2 months to get my other $1000 back. I'm sure no other reputable real estate company would conduct themselves in such a sloppy manner. BEWARE! read more

I haven't purchased a home yet, but the Everyhome website is easy to use and navigate. I like that I can easily search for homes by school district. They're also super helpful and responsive (thanks Emma!) and anytime I've had a question on a home they reply quickly. Hopefully I'll find my dream home soon! read more

If you are looking for a great agency this is NOT one of them. The staff loses paperwork and Katie kennedy does not show up for appointments. She is rude, unprofessional, and is absolutely one of the worst agents I have ever come across. Their office is a house - a run down house at that. This Company is a joke, after my last review ( which was a much deserved horrible one ) their yelp page had a whole bunch of positive reviews out of no where, what does that tell you? ( employees/friends maybe? ). First of all the two agents ( Bridgette and Ray )..working for us, one was an ABSENTEE REALTOR, the other didn't listen to what we were saying for the most part! We were told by our selling agent To stage the house a certain way.. so we did, we had 34 showings and two very low ball offers! They had almost 4 months to sell our house ( mind you it was a sellers market, houses for sale averaged like a week to sell in my area ). Here's another thing we fired the two agents and their supervisor offered to sell the house we gave her a chance, and she pulled the house off the market while giving us the impression that the house was still on the market. 2 realtors had told us it wasn't on the market for a whole month ... they told us that it was on the market they blatantly lied to us...After enough of their/companies bull crap we fired them and brought in century 21. After telling us how to PROPERLY stage a house our home sold in 4 days... PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!! read more
