We got $15,000 for everything. it was a complete joke. i wish we never met this company and i wish i would have read all of the reviews prior to agreeing to let them do the sale. I was disappointed in how I was treated today at their estate sale. Upon entering I asked the woman at the cash out table if there were any discounts. She basically laughed at me and told me they take offers and didn't understand why everyone asked that question. Her tone and comment seemed a bit off to me, but I tried to not let it bother me. I looked around and found a few things I figured I'd take a stab at negotiating. I get up to pay and I was offered 50% off and a fair price on a third item that didn't have a price. So far so good. But then, before I could agree to anything, the woman turned her back to me and started having a conversation with two other people while I just stood there waiting and waiting. When she did finally turn her attention back to me, I asked if they could do any better on the pricing. I made a legitimate offer and was again, laughed at. She even turned to her colleague (husband maybe) to tell him what kind of offer I made and scoffed at me. To be honest it wasn't a lowball offer. It was the last day, two hours before the end of their sale. I'm a reseller myself, so every dollar makes a difference. And, regardless, it never hurts to ask. What is so frustrating about this, is while I was there, they were talking about getting a bad review. And the bad review was for bad customer service. Given the attitude I witnessed, I'm not sure this review or the other negative review will be taken to heart. But if you do want some constructive criticism - please work on your people skills! If you want to make your clients happy and make them as much money as possible (and you as well, for that matter), treat the buyers that come through with a little more respect. I'm not a thin-skinned person, but I have worked in customer service long enough to know when someone is just plain rude. The items for sale were good, the prices are decent, some a bit high, but okay if they are willing to negotiate. In the end, people aren't going to want to buy things from someone who degrades you for trying to make a deal. read more

I never write reviews. Never. It felt necessary to write a review for this "company". People need to know. Customer service - The woman working the front register is horrid and condescending. She holds a sea of knowledge for every single item you will bring her. She is correct and you are wrong and how dare you even question her. The other people who "work" here follow you around but provide absolutely nothing aside from making you feel unwanted. Price - Everything is extremely overpriced. Everything. And again, everything flows through horrid front register lady, so you can be sure that you're going to have a hell of a time trying to haggle from "extremely overpriced" to just regular "overpriced". And if you do somehow manage to haggle for that busted old chair, then rest assured they will absolutely make sure you know how incredible the deal you just got was. These people are awful. I'm sorry to put it so bluntly but there it is. Good estate sale companies have helpful staff. Good estate sale companies understand that the primary motive of an estate sale is to move items, even if it means selling items below "market value". These people are flea market salesmen roleplaying as an estate sale company roleplaying as an upscale consignment shop. I bought a couple of pieces from them at their ludicrous prices because I really liked them. After a couple of weeks I ended up putting those pieces in storage because I could not get rid of the greasy, horrible, snobby vibes these people leave on every single thing you walk away with. Andy and his team explained the Estate Sale Process, set up our home, itemized everything. The sale was well advertised and most of it went over two days. All donations made at the end were itemized, with a tax receipt, used in this year's filings. This is a top quality service. The home was broom clean and the buyers were pleased! Awful people....disrespectful of customers and their own staff. The "boss" is running around like a maniac because he has to approve the price on everything down to even a $5 item....most of the others are just sitting around joking and when faced with any question say "oh you'll have to ask Andy, he's downstairs somewhere"...so you go and try find him and he's too busy and brushes you off saying he's taking care of something else.When he does finally find time for you he gives such stupid pricing it's embarrassing. They also argue in-front of customers and are totally a pathetic organization. The worst is how he talks to some of his team like they are a total piece of "S"...no respect at all...I don't know why they put up with it. First and last time at one of their sales.. the prices were 'ridiculous'. I was offended by what they were charging...$15 for a tea cup. $600 for an old, worn out green plaid couch that saw its best day in 1974 that also had an accompanying love seat $750 and two side chairs... another $300 each! Gorgeous dinnerware and the Americana metal plates, bowls, etc... today is day 2 of 3 and one bowl was priced at $125!! The whole house was still completely full... because the pricing is 100% off. This is a justified kvetching, folks. The owners of Everything Goes are rude and patronizing toward customers. And that's why the company currently has a well-deserved 1-star rating average on Yelp. I find the variation between the Yelp and Google ratings a bit suspicious. Perhaps the Google ratings come from friends? Anyway, during a recent sale in Bloomfield Hills, held on 5/26/2018, Andy tried to charge me $5 for a 1/5 package of Costco's Kirkland brand bath tissue. In effort to negotiate, I explained that the warehouse club charges about $15 for the whole set, which includes five, 6-roll packages. I told him if he does the math, the price breaks down to $3 per 6-roll package. His response? "I don't want to do the math" with a disgusting attitude. Mind you, I think this was the last day of the sale when items are typically discounted. As I walked away toward the door, I heard him say, "This ain't Costco." I did a Google search walking to my car and saw the Yelp complaints from clients and customers. The day prior, I went to another sale supervised by his wife and co-owner, Linda, in Birmingham. While she wasn't as terrible as Andy, she admitted to almost charging me $10 for DVD because it was brand new. Note that most companies charge about half that amount. Lastly, I noticed that Everything Goes doesn't post price lists. This is probably so they can pluck random prices out their behinds at the register. On a positive note, the owners' support staff are generally polite and helpful. I feel sorry they have to work for such nasty and unprofessional putzes. read more

Very disorganized, wrong venue took two months after pickup for sale, owner had young people handling it mixed up my items with other peoples stuff, had to chase down receipts because items were missing without any sale prices, a total nightmare. Had to chase down for commission checks, and unknown charges to me for pickup and cleanup charges. tax receipts not filled out still chasing for signatures and other pertinent information needed for tax receipts four months later. Total disorganized, Seller vacant most of time had no clue what items were mine, I had to provide all information to him so I could get paid on my stuff. I go to hundreds on estate sales every year and I know which companies to avoid and unfortunately this is one of them. They do not price their items and then when you get to the register, the wife (Linda) looks at the item like an expert and gives you a ridiculously high price. The husband (Andy) tries to rein her in without luck. So most customers leave empty handed. So beware, if you hire this company you will get your full house back and likely have to pay big bucks for someone to clean it out. read more

Well, I am a happy, easy person that does many Estates sales and Garages Sales and Flea Markets. Just for the fun of the discoveries but also for the human aspect. People are usually great, and open, and it is always a good moment... Except for this morning. I stopped by in Estate sales managed by "Everything goes" in Rochester and got a really bad experience. I am not talking about pricing ( Way too high but you know that is the deal in Estate sale.) But the people were so obnoxious, arrogant and even mean. When people do their job just for the money more than by passion you can definitely feel the atmosphere is not enjoyable. And it wasn't. They should be careful with their customers. Overpriced items with no room for negotiation. Went to checkout and was told an item that clearly had a $100 price tag on it was actually supposed to be priced at $300 and that the "price tag must have been switched" Very displeased after waiting almost and hour and a half to even walk into the sale to view the contents then had to deal with this. I am absolutely appalled by how I was treated at this estate sale. I attended on Mother's Day and left my disabled mother and my children to purchase some items for my small business. I am a regular to estate sales and cannot believe how they treat their customers. I have experience working with high-end items and with high-end clients but for an estate sale their prices are high and are not priced to sell. Don't believe "Everything Goes" because it doesn't. They kept insisting that if an item didn't sell the family could donate it with a much larger tax donation. My goodness, then why have an estate sale?? The owners are not willing to negotiate with customers to make sales and are very rude when you do try to bargain with them. When it was time to check out, Linda blew up at me and got mad at me for working on Mother's Day, making offers, and for being there after close when I was told by another employee it was no problem. She liked my assertiveness when I was making offers and even offered me a job haha but 5 minutes later tore up the ticket in my face, screamed at me, and told Andy to call the cops. I had the door slammed in my face and she continued to scream at me. I have no idea why anyone would hire this company! I literally left in tears, empty-handed because she would not let me purchase my items. There was no reasoning with her. People behind me in line left and they also lost those sales. The Rappaport family would have been extremely dissatisfied in the handle of their family estate. I was so disappointed to leave behind my handpicked treasures. read more

The majority of 'Everything Goes' estate sales are upscale and high quality. They are very knowledgeable and professional. We are regulars and the owners are always friendly and take the time to speak with my husband and me. I am giving them a 4 star as some of the pricing can be a bit high, but you get what you pay for. read more

Unless you're rich, don't go to their estate sales..just came back from one of their sales and the prices were so high, and the guy was so against bargaining, that we came home with nothing. If we wanted, we could've filled out a card to bid on an item, and if our bid "won" by the end of the sale (days later), he'd call us to offer the item again, supposedly. Basically, they're being greedy and turning away willing customers that don't want to go through the hassle of bidding and waiting and coming back, and trusting that he's being honest with the process. Based on the extreme prices, headache of a process, and uninviting nature of the seller, I would recommend you save your time and money and avoid sales by this company. read more

This is the worst company ever. The owners Andy and Linda are the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I've been to several Of their Estate Sales and it is always the same thing. They never have items priced, always claiming the job was "last minute" and they didn't have time. They tell customers to bring items to them for pricing. Really!? Every item you are interested in!? And what about heavy or large items?? They size people up by their interest in an item or by their appearance and pull a price out of the air bases on that. They completely over charge for items-retail pricing, not RESALE. I will avoid estate sales by this company at all costs. A better name for them would be Nothing Goes. read more
