I had gotten a bunch of disheartening quotes from other electricians ($6-7k for a 20A outlet). They all told me that my panel was full and the main cost was to add a new panel. EVGuys took a look at my panel and told me they could save me that money simply by consolidating circuits on my existing panel. Better, they installed a Tesla native wall charger instead of a simple 20A outlet for $2400. SO GLAD I FOUND THEM. Throughout the process they were responsive, transparent, and professional. We asked for the heat to be turned down or shut off (which neither happened) we ordered waters as soon as we got to the bay and it took over 30 minutes to get anything. I ended up going to the bar to grab some water since nothing had arrived. The people next to us arrived later than we did and pretty much got their food and drinks as soon as they got there. As soon as a I got back to my bay with the waters we finally got 2 more waters. The server came over asked if we "had drank from them yet?" then proceeded to take 2 of them and 2 straws from our table and gave them to the next bay over. Although I'm sure there are some exception cases, after deep dive research, I'm 100% convinced that hardwired EVSEs are safer and more stable than just plugging a Level 2 mobile charger into a NEMA 14-50R 250v outlet (as we'd done with the Tesla, because that was the standard in 2018). Andy did a great job communicating with us and then prepared a fairly priced sensible proposal. With Max, their highly experienced journeyman electrician, scheduling and install went smoothly. The work passed its Seattle DCLU electrical inspection. Now two-weeks later everything is working as expected. Note: I also used Puget Sound solar 24 years ago, so I'm a returning customer. They have expertise, reputation, and a commitment to sustainability.
