I called to discuss some help I needed with my camping trailer. They asked me to email details to their email address. I emailed and said I hadn't got the documents yet but I'd send them as soon as I did. They replied to this email so I know I had the email address right. A couple weeks later I followed up with the documents for my work and they never replied. I followed up a second time asking if they were ever going to reply and they never did. It's fine if you're too busy to take on a new customer but just ghosting someone is pretty surprisingly unprofessional. I wouldn't trust a company willing to just ghost you if they feel like it. read more

Full disclosure, I only went there to refill my propane tank. I found them to be very close to me when I searched for propane refills in my area. Often times when I seek to refill my propane tank I am met with an almost "you are interrupting my crossword" type of attitude... Not here! This guy came right out, filled the tank, we engaged in some small talk about one VERY good looking RV they had in stock... I was pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive it was to fill my propane tank. I will certainly be returning when the need arises. Oh, and I did happen to notice a fully stocked store with all the RV essentials one may need. read more

Wow! Upon seeing this beautiful Fun Finder 21' Travel Trailer on line I went to Kent RV to check it out. Upon meeting up with Donna I got the grand tour and learned so much from her even though I had owned an RV Trailer in the past. It's clear they only deal with quality RV's and have the knowledge, parts and service to back it up! We are camping in Wenatchee WA in our 1 1/2 year old J Feather that is still under warranty. When we arrived at our location. Our slide out won't open, no lights. Nothing on 12 volts works our batteries are fully charged. We called the service department and were told to do some "troubleshooting" We were then told "there is no lemon law in Washington" so we're camping with no slide out working No lights no air conditioning. Hey yo, whoa... If you need a good experience come here! It was our first time buying a trailer and we stumbled upon this place by accident. Kent RV is a super friendly amazing place to shop. We bought a 33' foot Jayco and we are newbies. I repeat, I know absolutely nothing about RV's and these guys and gals have given us the Nordstrom treatment. Any questions we have and any help we need they have assisted us from start to finish. We had a slight issue with our trailer and they came out and fixed it ASAP. The sales, finance and service team are great and top notch. We are absolutely happy that we purchased our RV here and can support these people who support us. We got a good deal and I think both parties walked away happy. I would check out this place if they have what you need. We will be buying our second Trailer here when the time comes. OMG these guys are awesome! We (unfortunately) purchased a new RV from Sunset RV and it has been a nightmare ever since. ALL the batteries (starter and house) went bad over the winter; We tried to get an appt with SS RV to replace them but that was to be a month. We found Kent RV and they were AWESOME; they ordered our new sealed batteries and made room in their schedule to install them as soon as they received them. On top of that they de-winterized our RV and gave me some good maintenance advice (new to the RV world) which we never got from SS RV. Again, all without an appointment! And...they have a Boxer Dog on site which was a bonus. read more

Had these guys add a HDTV antenna and find out why my cable didn't work on my George Town XL class A. They found and fixed the issue and they were able to get everything else I requested done. When they found a issue they called me for permission which I gave and all issues were fixed and when I came to pick it up the technician explained everything to me. Excellent work and fair prices. Wish they didn't take 4 hours to complete but I was very satisfied. I would recommend these guys for not giving up and finding the issue. Today I made my second rv purchase from Kent RV in 3 years. I traded my truck camper in that I bought from them3 years ago and even though there were a few things needing repair I still got almost as much as I originally paid back in trade. The staff at Kent RV is almost all family and not a commission driven sales staff. They have affordable RV's for every budget and their repair staff are very good as well. They spent lots of time teaching my wife and I about all the functions in my new rv and I will never shop elsewhere. A more honest business would be hard to find! read more

Must say Debbie was great to work with but Dan has been the rudest person to deal with. Although a smile is not required, they never seem to crack one, and aren't very accommodating. He seems to have a big chip on his shoulders and is very accusatory. Would not recommend for an RV Storage place. Price is high for what you get. We bought a nice used Winnebago RV recently from Donna and team and Kent RV. I found this coach first on their website. The pictures and descriptions were well detailed and accurate. They also ran a concurrent craigslist ad. I live in Portland area, so I called and talked to Donna and she gave me all the details about the coach. After discussing with my wife, we decided we wanted it. I called Donna back and we agreed on the price and arranged for a Friday inspection and test drive. When we arrived, the RV was completely ready, cleaned up and detailed. We went over everything with Donna and agreed we wanted it, then she brought in Matt their PDI/service tech. Matt did all the prep work ahead of time and he was very patient and explained and showed us every detail of the MH. Never in a hurry, everything went well. After a clean inspection, they handed us the keys for a full test drive and they gave us full access to test as much as we liked. We gave it it a vigorous test and we loved the Minnie Winnie! Came back in and closed the deal with Donna. No extra fees (other than the required Washington trip permit), no hard up sell, very professional and to the point. There are a lot of shady RV dealers out there and Kent RV is not one of them. This was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend Kent RV. If you are considering doing business with an RV dealer, I would avoid these folks like the plague. They sold me a part that did not work for our RV. Before I left, I asked about their return policy and they said 30 days. I brought it back the next week and they said they would not take it back. When I mentioned their stated policy, the owner/manager became quite hostile and it was clear he would rather keep $80 and screw a customer than doing the right thing. While I am only one transaction, the fact that they would back out of their policy and treat me this way over $80 says a great deal about their integrity. I can't imagine how they would manage a problem on something that costs thousand's of $$$. Candidly, I felt like these guys are shakedown artists rather than legitimate dealers. When dealing with these guys, adhere to the cardinal maximum....BUYER BEWARE. read more

As first time trailer purchasers we've had nothing but an amazing experience!!! We were going to go to another place to look at trailer, but my brother told us that you have to walk around with someone and have them let you in to every trailer, he said go to Kent RV for a no pressure sell. We went to Kent RV and Jim sat with us and let us ask any question and told us anything and we never felt pressure to buy from them. He expressed a genuine concern that we get the right thing, even if it wasn't from them. It felt like we were getting real advice from a real RV owner. After a few months, we returned and found the perfect trailer for us. From negotiation with Donna to the walk through with Jeff, we have had nothing other than a fabulous experience with Kent RV. I am a new 5th Wheel Toy Hauler owner that was recommended to Kent RV by a friend. It has been one of the best experiences I have had. They do so much more than store my trailer even though that's all I pay them to do. Dan is always checking on me when I am on site seeing how I am doing, giving me suggestions, or answering my questions. No matter how dumb they are always making me feel less stupid after asking. Just a short list of things I owe them a big thanks for: Brake controller how to use it better Where to take the trailer and tips on how to get there Help with what does this light mean?!?! How to dump my second holding tank lol Broken awning what to do how to get it fixed? So many I can't even remember I had to take my trailer in for warranty work and found my batteries dead and not able to be charged. When Dan came out to check on me and found the situation he offered to move his day around and have one of his guys replace my batteries right away so I could get my trailer in for service! I was super lucky it was even possible and grateful he was willing to take the time to care about my struggles. Rather than just replacing my batteries and running he and his team were suspicious as I was how they went bad in the first place. They were sensitive to my needing to get my rig in for warranty but took the time to chase my wires finding the battery disconnect was wired incorrectly causing the problem. This was awesome given I was upgrading to 6v batteries and would had ruined these as well. After fixing my issue they explained the job, showed me with meters they fixed the problem then went through my trailer showing me all the common power draws even though they isolated the batteries eliminating the problem. It was still an amazing education on my trailer telling me things I had no idea about. To say I am thankful is an understatement I received amazing service at a fair price when I was up against a Rock at a disadvantage, that is a rare thing these days from a rare type of people. They treat me like family and they just met me. read more

When I called them in 2016 about an issue with our RV, we went through the issues regarding a converter/battery. I had already, done everything the guy stated they would check He had no clue what else to do or what to check. Moron. I spoke with a different repair shop, who helped me over the phone, get my RV up and going re: the converter/battery issue. I, ultimately, took my RV to that fabulous, knowledgeable, helpful RV repair shop (Auburn-Kent Valley RV). I would not recommend Kent RV to anyone for anything. Go ahead you guys! TRY and sue me for my experience and opinion, like you threatened one of your other customers, who wrote about it on here! read more

We drove here after our "house" battery (in our one-year old motorhome...with only 4000 miles driven) heated up and began spitting out steam and acid. I purchased a used RV with a few things needing repair before I went on my first long distance trip. Although they were very busy they fit me right in within a few days. Dan and his family are just the best!! I also had Dan do a walk thru my RV to orient me to its workings and that was so helpful to this rookie. My family and I have purchased two Travel trailers in the past and have even sold one back to them when we were done with it. All 3 transactions were great! These people are incredibly dishonest, do not buy from them! We bought a two year old trailer from them and have had nothing but problems with it. During the buying process they made a lot of noise about how every trailer is inspected before it hits the lot and that they go the extra mile. In addition their website states that "We INSPECT EVERY RV in our service Department BEFORE we offer it for sale"(sic). That could not be further from the truth. Here are some of the highlights of our experience: + a few weeks after purchasing the trailer we took it camping over a rainy weekend. The trailer leaked like crazy. + we attempted to bring the trailer in for them to assess the issue and WE WERE TURNED AWAY. + after taking the trailer to another RV shop to be leak tested we learned that it required $2,000 in maintenance to fix all of the leaks + when we called to discuss the leak issues we were told "you signed the 'as is' paper work, you're on your own" + Donna, one of the owners, is incredibly rude all of the time and downright nasty some of the time + During the sales process they took advantage of our newbie RV owner status, throwing in extras that won't even work with our trailer. Once we figured that out we were told "that was part of the deal that you agreed to, we're not going to make any changes to it." + It's a creepy family business with a very colorful cast of characters. I hope someone puts them on a reality tv show. The only good thing I can say about the place is that the giant inflatable gorilla is pretty cool. When you step back a bit and ask yourself whether you should trust a used RV lot next to the freeway with trailer for an office and a giant inflatable gorilla out front the answer is really pretty obvious. In summary, avoid these people like the plague. They make their money by being dishonest. read more

The owner is a very abrasive and defensive person and goes out of her way to avoid helping her customers. When my family and I politely contacted Kent RV to resolve various issues with our camper purchase, they went silent and made it clear we would not get any assistance. We are on the prowl. We stopped in and let them know our needs. They didn't have what we essentially want, however they showed us some motor homes in our price range. We liked them but we shall keep looking for now. Customer service was good. They let us look on our own, that's nice. It's raining today, they had umbrellas. We have kids, they gave us no gruff about that. Their motor homes were in great shape. Perhaps if we don't find what we want we will return. This place is worth the visit of you are shopping. read more
