I found a great pair of hikers at a really reasonable price. The staff were helpful and I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. In the end, I like the hikers I bought at this store way more than the ones I couldn't find at home. They have a lot of gear in this tiny, well-organized shop. I'm sure they would have what you need for any outdoor activity.

Within just a couple of days, the zipper began jamming intermittently, and on Jan 7, 2026 when I brought it into the store, it jammed several times while I was there, clearly demonstrating that the issue was real and ongoing. Given the price and the fact that the jacket was obviously defective, I expected a straightforward exchange. Instead, I was told that under no circumstances would the store exchange the jacket for the same model. The only solution offered was to ship it to the manufacturer for repair and return it in approximately three weeks. This is completely unacceptable, especially since we are currently in the middle of a ski trip and the jacket was purchased specifically for this purpose. The associates assisting me were Chi Yiu and Jenn. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told none was available. I then requested the manager's contact information, which they refused to provide. The company advertises a lifetime warranty, yet when a $1,300 jacket turns out to be defective almost immediately, they refuse to do the right thing and replace it. Instead, they attempted to blame the issue on how the zipper was being handled, suggesting it needs to be treated "in a specific, gentle way" to avoid jamming. This explanation is unreasonable. I own jackets that cost a fraction of this price and have never experienced zipper issues. This company, this specific store, and their products are grossly overpriced for the poor quality they provide and fail to stand behind their products. Selling a defective item at this price point and refusing a simple exchange is unacceptable.

Granted it was the end of the season and there were sales at every ski/snowboard shop I went to, this particular store had the best price. I turned away from buying a few things, but I did get a board wax here. I believe it was $20. I handed over my board around 6PM and the store promised it to be ready by 8AM the next mornign. Perfect! Just in time to catch the opening of the gondolas. I went to a few other stores, some that seemed geared towards skiers and others that couldn't guarantee the board to be ready by 8AM. Mountain Riders met my needs and did a great job on the wax service! The catwalks were a tad more bearable with the wax.

This store was pure awesomeness!…read more Victorinox Swiss Army opened a brand store in Whistler Village for two months during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. They featured a selection of items from all six Victorinox Swiss Army product categories: cutlery, Swiss Army knives, timepieces, travel gear, fashion and fragrance. I became an even bigger fan of the brand after visiting this corporate store.

Most stores in the village have items for older children, but nothing for toddlers. They are tucked in the back of the top of the stairs going down to Hilton right across from the pizza place. We came here looking for items for our son who is 3. It was difficult to find items that fit him. They carry a variety of children's items varying from jacket, helmets, goggles, pants, bibs, socks, apparel, etc. They also have some pretty cool items like helmet covers in different characters. One thing that my son really wanted was the spyder marvel collaboration items. They had jackets, pants, gloves, etc. It was pretty cool! Their prices are high, but they are in the village, so it's expected. Definitely going to come here again for all our kids needs!

They also rent cross country skis. The service here is good. I bought a pair of Arc'teryx mittens here once after a wrist brace failure meant buying a pair of mitts I had, but had left at back in the flatlands. The wrist strap failed after a few days. I went back and asked if I could get a new strap. The guy at the store called about the warranty, but Arc'teryx does not ship the strap separately. He fused the strap for me himself in the store, and it was ready when I returned at the end of the day. Another time I came in asking about pit zips in jackets and the man I spoke with was very honest about the breathability of the jacket. Surprises in the breathability of rainwear rarely lead to a pleasant day in the rain, so I really appreciated that. I just got a pair of trail runners here at their fall shoe sale. They were a pretty good deal and the lady warned me they were "final sale" more than once. The seem want you to be happy with your purchase here, which is really nice. I recommend this store. If they don't have what you are looking for the same person also owns the large Arc'teryx store nearby.
