Review update: I received 8 laser hair removal services here and after my last treatment they decided to take it upon themselves to charge my debit card on file for a tip. The charge was $5, and while not a lot, it leaves me very uneasy that they have my card on file and feel that they can just "add a tip" whenever they feel like it. After my previous 7 services, no additional tip was added without asking. When asked if I wanted to tip, I would, but to just add it without asking doesn't sit well with me. I feel like this is a shady business practice and has left me questioning if I want to continue to do business with their sister location where I get my monthly facials and chemical peels. I have called and asked them what the charge was for and asked what they can do. I am waiting for a call back. read more

I bought a Groupon for one of their laser hair removal services. You can set your appointments through their website which makes it so much easier and there's no need to call and talk to anyone. They do take your credit card information on when you make the appointment because no shows are charged $25. You really don't have any excuse to not cancel 24 hours before the appointment because they send you a confirmation email when you book the appointment and then one 2 days before the appointment. Anyway, when you arrive, check in with the receptionist. I've never had to wait more than 5 mins. Once they take you in, the session takes less than 3 mins and then you're in pain and are in search of someone to kick in the junk. On Saturday 11/25/17 I was on the schedule for a laser hair removal session at 1 pm. I was on my way to Franklin when I missed an exit I should have taken on the interstate. I have never been late to an appointment with Evolve, but assumed they had a 15 minute grace period. To confirm this, I called Evolve around 12:40 pm and told them I have been delayed 10 to 15 minutes late at the most -- I received confirmation that it was fine. I arrived at 1:12 pm and long-story made short: the receptionist tells me that I cannot be seen today. I had to reschedule for 2 weeks from that day which means I most likely missed a hair growth cycle and will need to purchase another 6 session treatment to achieve the results I want. UPDATE: 11/26/17 I was contacted shortly after my post by Evolve's CEO, Mr. Billingsley. He was very kind and resolved my issues. read more

Do not sign a contract - it won't be honored. They changed the terms of the contract and did not tell me nor did they offer an explanation after repeated attempts to contact the office staff. Front desk staff is not friendly or helpful. After Jamie left, this place has gone from ok to awful. Very dissatisfied with overall experience. I already spoke to the patient concierge and attempted multiple times to get resolution before posting this review. This place is great! The staff is very friendly and efficient. The wait time is minimal...about five minutes at the most. They welcome walk-ins for things like the B-12 shots, but keep in mind you might have to wait a bit on Thursdays when there's only one person available to give the shot. They also close for lunch each afternoon. The flexibility to schedule and cancel appointments online is nice. They are great about sending a confirmation email after scheduling & a reminder email a couple days before. They will also text this to you if you'd like. read more

Horrible customer service! Do not go here!! I initially got a 6 session laser treatment a couple of years ago, but still need touch-ups since the initial treatment did not work. I was told that I can come back anytime for $30 for a small area touch up. I've completed a few touch up sessions but was informed today that I was going to get charged $99 this time (instead of 30) for a one time treatment since it has been more than a year since my last treatment. Mind you, it is super hard to get an appointment. I told them what I was told originally about the 30 touch ups but was told by manager that their policy changed a year ago. I told him that if he wanted to retain me as a customer, that they need to make an exception since that was the original term that I was told (there is a current groupon for $80 for 6 sessions down the street!!). He basically just said that I will have to pay the $99. I told the manager (Nathan) a piece of my mind about my dissatisfaction as a customer, and he basically just shrugged off like he didn't care and that they are in the process of not accepting groupons.. to be honest, I got a snobbish vibe and felt that I was being "weeded out". I'm never going back to Evolve (I think that they are in the process of renaming and rebranding so beware!!) Oh and I waited 45 minutes to be told that they will charge be $99 for a touch up that literally takes 3-5 minutes. I could have left earlier if they initially told me when I first walked in. So disappointed since principles matter to me with businesses. read more

I have been here several times for different services. The waits are Loooongggg and if you go use the bathroom, everyone is just sitting around, so I'm always like "what is the delay all about, I'm on my lunch break"! Very frustrating. I kept giving them another try but not anymore- the last time I will ever be back is when the owner or manager, I think he said his name was Curtis, was put on the phone with me after requesting clarification on a groupon. I was so disgusted and appalled at his attitude and the words that came out of his mouth!! The first thing he said without even greeting or listening was, let me put this so even you understand". He is very sarcastic and unprofessional. And it was worse from that point on. I would never recommend this facility. I purchased 2 groupons and gave one as a gift. We are new to Franklin and thought we would give this a try... I called for an appointment and couldn't find a time for both of us for at least a month, so we went with separate appointments two weeks out. The night before I looked to see if the groupon was there and the only place I found anything was under the My Gift tab and was only a receipt of purchase. It already showed up on our credit card bill. I sent an email stating this. I received a text with a link to the app. hmmm, already on my phone and the easiest way to show groupons. One of us goes to the appointment and Evolve would not let him take the appointment until the groupon was able to be redeemed. He callled me and said that would not let him take the appointment without the groupon. I called Groupon and received the codes. They told him that that they were is not valid and that he no longer had time to get the service done. I called Groupon one more time, of course my place of employment was not happy, yet again about the problem with redeeming the groupon. I was sent the link to the groupons via email. I called Evolve and they told me it was too late because an hour had pasted by and they were very busy! I asked to talk with the manager and Curtis came on the line. I explained the situation and he interrupted me several times and then said, "it's like going to Outback and not having the gift card"... Ok, fair atatement... However, I asked that if someone comes in for an appointment do you ask for payment before services are rendered? No..... So I asked, while we were trying to get this matter retified, he could have had this service and he replied... YES. This is not a ghetto place and wonder why the concern because if the groupon was not produced he would have paid for the service at the posted price. I guess having new customers was not something they were particularly interested as he told me how busy they were. I was at work and never raised my voice or said anything rude.... Where was the customer service? I get that the issue was Groupon and not there's, but if it wasn't for Groupon you wouldn't have us as new customers. read more

BEWARE! I was a client initially at Skinsation in Goodlettsville (sister facility) was pleased with services for about a year and even signed up for membership--then they started abruptly losing technicians repeatedly and my appointments would be cancelled or they would ask me if I could drive 30+ miles down to Franklin to have services performed. Services provided became extremely hot and miss. When I signed up for $100/Mo membership I was fine paying that for the services I had been receiving however having a tight schedule and being asked to drive all over and possibly having sub-par services provided became extremely frustrating... I tried to work with technicians to clearly communicate what I felt needed to be performed more thoroughly however it ended up just being a waste of time. I was charged HUNDREDS of dollars over months trying to get account resolved and kept getting emails back saying they were sorry but they were looking into account. In addition to membership issue I had purchased additional services on promotion via PayPal, etc that they kept losing from my account... One manager was helpful whenever I could get ahold of her however at most recent visit while they were telling me my services may have expired from account and I reiterated policy that manager at time had told me they said "Yes, well she did a lot of things that were unethical" and that she was no longer employed there. Supremely frustrated with experience with this place... Huge amount of money, time wasted and agrravation--I gave up on ever getting any resolution with them, only so much you can go in circles with place. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars because we received zero service. We arrived a few minutes prior to the appointment to discover that, contrary to their website, they no longer do hair removal for minors. My 16-year-old daughter has never had a problem getting service before, but we were told that they changed their policy and haven't updated their website yet. I purchase product thru paypal and tried to set up an appointment. The girl wanted a credit card. I gave her my visa # and her computer wouldn't accept that type card. WHAT!!! Who doesn't take visa. The staff makes you feel welcome. I saw Jaime who is their nurse, and she was so pleasant. She was informative and really wanted to help. The appointment was very quick and easy. I bought the Groupon for the Microderm. Mind you normal price for microderm is $75 and I paid around $39. It took less then 10 minutes and the tech. did not even go over my entire face. I could barely feel any suction and there was for sure no crystal residue after. I will never ever go back to this place. I'm not sure how this place stays in business. Most (not all,there is a RN there that is professional) of their staff is rude. I showed up for an appt. and had even received an email confirmation of the day and time, only to be told that I was scheduled for another time. The first time I had a laser treatment on my face, I was not aware that the staff/tech was supposed to provide me with protective goggles--I only learned this at my second appt. when another staff member provided me with a pair! I went for weight management purposes, and I was impressed. The office is nice, and the receptionist and nurse I spoke to were very friendly (not sure of her name, but it was a female). I did not feel judged for being there, as I experienced once before at Medical Weight Loss of Cool Springs. I was also very impressed by the prices, and that a trip to the pharmacy would not be necessary afterwards (also the case at MWLCS) as the weight loss aids are issued in the office--that in particular was a lovely surprise. Highly recommended, but I wouldn't suggest going at lunch or 30 minutes prior to closing as I understand it gets quite crowded. read more

I've been a customer of Evolve for about 3 years now- there was a brief period of time that I thought I probably would not continue to do business with them- I'm so glad that I changed my mind on that. After a small change of staffing the entire feel of the place changed and so did my attitude and also the opinion of several friends. I cannot say enough good things about this place now. I get photo facials from Jessica and LOVE LOVE LOVE her. Matt, the owner, is absolutely amazing in making sure that his customers have good experiences. One of my friends from the office wanted to try Botox and got a Groupon for Evolve. Made the appointment 3 weeks ago. Today I drive to Brentwood with her and we show up and they say the FedEx with the Botox is late and we can wait until 1:30ish and it should be there. We state that we drove from Nashville and why didn't someone let us know. This guy name Curtis comes out and just kind of shrugs and says "what can I do about it" - SERIOUSLY - this guy was SO RUDE and obnoxious it was unbelievable. What kind of business owner who knows their shipment is going to be late (and for that matter who is the rocket scientist that doesn't always keep a supply of Botox at a Botox studio) and doesn't even call their clientele and let them know they don't have a product. I have been to Evolve before and I believe I saw Jessica - but this Curtis guy, what a complete jerk.
