I walked in a little after noon, signed in/registered on an iPad they had set up near the front desk and took a seat in the waiting room. There were three other people in front of me in line, and it appeared that they all had appointments scheduled. I probably waited around 5-10 minutes until I was called back. I then waited another 5 minutes while I was in the examination room before the nurse came in. I was in and out of there in roughly 20 minutes. Both of the nurses that were on duty were great! They were both very helpful and friendly, making side conversation throughout the visit. This was a breathe of fresh air compared to the past few experiences I had at the nearby Quest location down the road.

However, I was amazed with the phlebotomist I saw (I did not get his name, but I do know that the technichian/phlebotomist that I saw was an African-American male). He understood that I had Autism, was a needle phobic and preferred a hand vein (for me, hand veins are not as painful as the traditional arm/inner elbow, even though it stings a little more). I sit, 5 min after my appointment time the woman asks to take my paperwork. 10 min after that she takes me back for a drug test. I peed in a cup. Friendly service, clear directions. This location takes walk in, but prefers appointments. I reserved my appointment online through their website. This seems to be how the majority of their customers make an appointment. Remember to bring your ID. I like Quest's setup better than Labcorp because they didn't make me sign a paper that says I agree to pay what the insurance doesn't. I don't like agreeing to things that are unknown. Find this location by parking alongside the building and going in the entrance in the middle of the building, the tinted window doors. Then turn left, go to the end of the hall, then right down the long hall and down the ramp. You'll find Quest's door on the right.

At check in, the tech was understanding, caring, and met me more than halfway. She would honor my appointment once I was able to get the scripts in hand. Took care of that and I checked in as a walk in, she called me back within 7 minutes. Not only was she fantastic but also the tech that took the bloodwork. She was patient and compassionate to my unease with needles and took the time to make conversation and keep me from becoming overwhelmed. It was clearly an avoidable issue on my end, I could have better prepared and double checked and I had plenty of time to. Thank you guys for what you do, for working with me and for being genuine good people.
