Overall very poor experience, the person I worked with Aaron Seigel didn't have any enlightening…read moreinsight for saving money on taxes, he reviewed my most recent tax return and thought there may need to do an amendment to the return, he wanted to get some more information from the IRS first, requested it about 4 months ago without any luck, blaming it in part on the government shut down, in the meantime, I am getting charged $500 every month by his office (deducted from my checking account monthly) without getting any services in return, this is after his initial $2000 start up fee. When I requested we hold the monthly charges until he has the IRS documents, he refused, and simply said if I terminate payments I can go to another accountant who can pick up where he left off, I finally terminated our relationship on 11/30, however his office charged me $500 the following day for the month of December, I told him I wasn't going to use his services in December and to refund my money, he refused and and said he doesn't issue refunds, he is essentially getting paid for doing nothing! This is similar to other months where he gets monthly payments while he waits for the IRS documents. This is not the way to treat or handle customers, and after almost $5k of payment to him, I've ended this rip off. Please be aware when doing business with Aaron or his office.
