Dealt with Mr. West for a hot water heater repair under a warranty company. He was clearly not…read moreinterested in doing the repair, make false statements about the failure of the hot water heater failing due to the heat setting on the water heater and recommended that it not be covered under warranty. I appealed the claim after I proved that the manufacturer of the water heater (Bradford White) and 3 independent local installers confirmed that the setting would have nothing to do with the failure. He even went on to say that even if he got a replacement it would be 3 to 4 hours away to get the closest one. Again, I did my own research and found 3 companies within 30 minutes that had the exact same water heater that I needed. He did however try to sell me new granite countertops in lieu of doing his original job. Bottom line, he is dishonest and lazy...simple as that.
