Owner and workers EXTREMELY rude. My friend asked to bargain a purse POLITELY because we found a lot of good stuff, and the owner comes storming up to the counter and starts yelling at us and cussing at us. Nothing I have genuinely ever seen before. I have never seen a business owner be so beyond mean to customers who were about to buy 200 dollars worth of items. never again, i'm in shock.

my favorite thrift/vintage store!! a cool vibe, feels more like an experience, and i alwaysss leave with something. plus the fam that runs it is soo nice and will even help you find what youre looking for it. they also have a nice rewards system. anddd with i believe a minimum $10 purchase you get something free from the outside section!

Fantastic vintage store. I walked in and geeked out instantly because of all the cowboy boots, gunne sax, and leather displayed near the entrance. They have more clothes than anyone knows what to do with. A vintage lovers dream! They have it all: shoes, purses, jewelry, women's, men's, and whatever else you may want. If you want to dig, the be prepared to DIG. Give yourself a few hours to be here. The prices are fair for a vintage store. In almost every corner they have clothes they don't have room for piled high in bins. Don't go in expecting thrift store prices. It also helps that they have a dressing room so you aren't trying to size yourself blindly. It honestly didn't feel like a real place in the best way. It was so perfectly what it was that it almost felt like a movie set. Next time I'm in Charleston I will carve out intentional time to go here.

What a great place to rummage and to shop. Not to be missed. They have just the coolest jumble of vintage stuff. Shoes, clothes, T-shirts, kimonos, wedding dresses, leather jackets, jewelry, hats, belts, bags, and more. We ended up buying a shirt and belt...if funds were unlimited I would have bought more. I've added some photos of things which caught my eye, We will definitely come back. And yes, YELP is a great way to get the word out about your unique and fun store. ;-).

Labor Day weekend trip to charleston S.C. I visited this dump where inventory was stuff in every open space in the store given hoarder vibes. The owner's energy was very off from the first encounter. Talk very aggressive when telling us how her store works. You can bearly walk inside given all the stuff. 2 customers walk by me and my daughter and a tea cup fell to the floor and broke and the owner came at me wrong loudly aggressive accuse me of breaking it and called the cops and ask me to leave. Its given racism vibes when she said I was touching stuff the whole time. These are crazy times when whites who have a business can disrespect and handle black people a certain kind of way and the other customers were allow to touch stuff. I hate the climate we have to live in. The owner played victim once the cops arrived. All this over an over price $30 tea cup. It is crystal clear the owner is crazy.

So excited to have a HomeGoods in the North Charleston area! I have always traveling to the Mt…read morePleasant location or West Ashley, but this one is much closer to home. The store looks great! It's eye-catching, decorative, and if you don't stick to your list you will definitely spend all of your money. The store was crowded which I totally expected, but it was hard to find a salesperson to help me with what I needed. When I did find someone, actually two salespersons, one seem very friendly and the other look like she was bothered. I asked for the item that I was looking for and the older sales person, that looked bothered, instantly stated, "No, I don't believe we sell that". The younger sales person said, "Yes, we do sell things like that because this is HomeGoods. Would you like for me to show you?" I said yes and she took me right where I needed to be. For this shopping trip I decided to stick with my list so after picking up my item I proceeded to the checkout. I was surprised to only see one cashier, but another one came up after seeing the line. I'm looking forward to shopping here more often because there were several items I had to turn away from so I could stick to my budget. I'm giving this a four-star because of the lack of help and the salesperson who wasn't helpful on the floor and wasn't very friendly.

I was a diehard HomeGoods shopper in fact the majority of my home is furnished by HomeGoods. I went into the store (Dorchester Rd)August 27th and purchased several items including a large picture frame-when I got home I felt it didn't work well with my decor so I decided to return it to HomeGoods the next day. As stated before I'm a loyal shopper and had numerous receipts so I brought in all necessary receipts for proof of purchase. I also use the email and print receipt app. I was greeted at the register by two very nice (female) associates they tried to assist me but after several attempts they called the manager Chris. The associates explained to him what was going on and they didn't understand why the receipt kept coming up as transaction already refunded. Chris told them because I had already been refunded(he then starts yelling at me in a crowded store )'you're not getting your money back . I know he couldn't take my word for it so I explained that they were two employees(on the date of my purchase),I described them and how one of them was so kind to help me put it in my car trunk, I know he couldn't stop and get in contact with them right then and now but when they returned to work. My reasoning was they could at least let him know I didn't take it and that I paid by cash. I must say I didn't like the way he was speaking to me so I said I don't steal!!!!!Chris goes I'm not going to contact them and you're not getting your money back. (yelling) I saw that the situation was going to escalate so I got my receipts and the items back and left the store. While loading up my trunk I looked at my receipts and apparently he missed looking at one of the receipts-the one with the transaction. I went back into the store and asked for him ,so he could see that I was telling the truth , he looked at the receipt and saw I was right and instead of apologizing he blamed it on the cashier saying she didn't show him the receipt or let him know there was an email receipt. I thanked the two ladies that tried to help me and let them know it wasn't their fault., I also let them know I would be returning all the items purchased the next day and not shop at HomeGoods again. It saddens me that I must do so because I had planned to purchase a large giraffe statue for over $500.00 after Labor Day. I truly am heartbroken that I can't purchase it but the way I was treated I would be rewarding bad behavior. I also wanted to start a registry for someone who just purchased a new home but I won't!!! BUT WHAT I WILL DO IS LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT I EXPERIENCED AND ADVISE THEM TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HOMEGOODS!!!!! I know some stores policies allow audio or video recording in their stores. If so please look at the tape(s) I believe you will see I told no lies. # disappointing

We were given a myriad of excuses initially : "Logistic challenges due to COVID 19, shipments delayed, trucking delays" We are yet to receive even ONE piece of furniture. Our calls are ignored. We contacted the Head Office we are being given the run around. Home Decor is simply THE WORST ! I will say this at times when you see some companies fail and their employees out of work and destitute it's the Universe's way of balancing things out ( KARMA). My family was robbed of our honest, hard earned money and justice will be served somewhere somehow.

I will start by saying that I have never shopped at a lower priced or outlet type of furniture store before but since I only needed a dresser for a guest room and they had a "deal" I was like ok I'll save a few bucks. The initial shopping experience, everyone seemed professional I picked out the piece of furniture and arranged a pick up date. Arrived today to pick up the piece and after paying the balance owed, they told me they couldn't bring the dresser out to my car in front of the store, I had to drive "around back" behind the store and someone would bring it out. I was hesitant at first as this doesn't seem customer friendly but I'm like ok I got this dresser for a deal so ok.. I drive behind the store (tiny little alley) none of the building are labeled I call the store I'm like, I can't find your pick up area can I just come back to the front of the store and you all can bring it to my car? Store employee "I'm sorry but no" you made a wrong turn.. just go up to the stop sign and make a left.. I'm like ok.. I got this piece of furniture at a great price.. I keep driving I turn left and never saw there pick up area.. now I'm mad..they took my money and sent me on a poor customer service wild goose chase! Long story short, rolled to the front of the store and was met by an Employee with a really annoying grin on her face.. I said a few choice words, regarding their poor customer service and the fact that while I was rolling in back alleys their staff was sitting around giggling with each other...hmm needless to say they brought my dresser out and loaded it in my car..I have never seen a ghetto mess like what I saw today. I can't imagine this is what they normally ask their customers to do. SMH
