The first to last impression from Alex and his company was 1st class operation. Alex and Steve (installer) were amazing to work with and trust through the entire process to install custom cabinets in our garage. Our dream home become even more special. The experience from the day Alex (owner) came to visit to review our garage and design. I was sold after an half hour conversation. We called Exclusive Closet Design and within a few days they were able to come out and look at our space and give us a 3D design of the space with everything we asked for. I purchased a new home in North Miami which already had a closet designed and installed by Exclusive Closet Design. We called and texted various times over the course of 2 weeks to reach Alex and get an estimate for some minor modifications to the original design (add 4 L shelves, add 6 jewelry cabinets, and fix some broken pieces which seemed to be from the installation (drawers wouldn't close).Finally, we did speak to Alex and after a few reschedules, he made it to our home Monday late evening to review the modifications. He stated he would have a full drawn out estimate for us by the next day (tuesday). Throughout the week i followed up with him with very poor feedback asking for the estimate which he never did. Finally a full week later he sends me a very vague text lacking all details of the scope of work to be done and states the modifications would be $1800. Shocked, i asked the previous owners how much they paid for the entire design and installation and they stated $5600. For SMALL and MINOR modifications, Alex was trying to charge nearly 35% of the ENTIRE closet design, build and installation. Shocked, i tried calling him, no answer, and he called back later where he made absolutely no sense in his rationale as to why he was trying to charge so much. While Alex seems to be kind and charasmatic, his business practices are unfair and very expensive. Also his lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. read more

I just hired Alex for work at our home and I already felt compelled to leave a review about our amazing experience so far. I have never met someone who is so passionate about what they do. You can tell he puts everything into making his business the best. Alex spent hours at our home reviewing our closet design options, and he pays close attention to small but important details. For example, he measured the average width of our shoes to make sure the design would incorporate the maximum number of shoes on the shelf so they wouldn't have to stack on top of each other. He was also willing to meet us after hours - even at 830pm! Finally, his pricing is extremely fair and very competitive. There are so many closet companies out there, but you must at least contact Alex to meet him and get an estimate.
