Pride Flooring did a GREAT job replacing my floors. They are a Costco vendor so it was really easy to set up an appointment to discuss what I needed and get a quote. Joe came to my condo and brought samples and was able to walk me through what needed to happen. He worked with me on ordering and scheduling installation, my work schedule got very hectic, so I appreciated the flexibility! The installation team was very professional and got the job done ontime. The quality of their work was excellent! I'm very happy with my new floors! I got the living room, 2 bedrooms, and all the closets refinished. The closets had gross old carpet and the bedrooms had an elevation difference so they built the floor up to have a smooth transition. From the get go Joe explained every detail of the products and how it fits my particular setup. The installation crew: Daniel, Brett & Fernando. After countless days of researching, browsing, and analyzing what felt like every floor Miami had to offer, we stumbled upon this little gem. The moment we walked in to the store the staff was extremely friendly, informative, and ensured that we understood the full scope of all of their products. Mind you I was in the market for Luxury Vinyl and everything I saw was as thin and flimsy as a newspaper. But Pride Flooring was on a whole other caliber of quality!! We wanted to change the floors of the 2-bed condo we just bought, a colleague referred us here, and we are so happy she did. From sales to management to installation -- everyone was fantastic. On the heels of a very poorly managed and executed impact glass installation project my wife and I put a lot of time and effort into finding a reliable and reputable flooring contractor. Our research brought us to a Yelp 5 star baring establishment here in Miami called Pride Flooring, a name we immediately liked, and upon meeting Joe were not disappointed. Joe was prompt, very knowledgeable and provided several options for us to choose from. Our favorite thing about Joe however was how accessible and accountable he was, something very hard to find with any type of contractor here in South Florida. He always replied to our emails within the hour, most times in under half an hour, and was always very courteous, informed and positive about our project. Again we cannot stress how important this is after our previous window project. The budget for this project was half was much as the windows however we received more than double the amount of service from Joe. As a first impression of their long standing family business, we could not have been more impressed. The flooring was ordered and received on time which lead to our project being started on time. Again something we were not accustomed too with our previous project. On the first day of installation we were delighted to have a crew of 4 on our 1000 sq/ft project. We were not expecting that at all. Even more surprising was of the 4 installers that came to our house, 3 of them were brothers and were the sons of the owner himself. Trust us when we tell you these are the kind of businesses you want to work with. Brett, Daniel, Mark and Jose were top notch. A1 grade craftsmanship and customer service. They emptied the house of the old flooring in what seemed like minutes and while that was being taken out someone else was cleaning while someone else was starting to lay out planks while the last person was already cutting them into the appropriate pieces. A total machine and work of art is the Pride Flooring installation team. Being a band of brothers like myself it was also fun to be around them for the two days I was home from work. I am 1 of 4 brothers, with our last being Daniel like theirs, so it just felt right, they were a pleasure to be around. The job was done on the second day like Joe had told me weeks before and everything was absolutely perfect. They leveled out some areas for us, dealt with some tough existing tile borders and even came up with an ingenious way to apply the planks to our two last floating treads instead of boxing them in or refinishing and trying to match which would have took longer and caused more dust...all without going over our budget. True dedication to their craft and customer service has already put them back in position to do another job for us that we are getting quotes for now. If you are within the service area of Pride Flooring and are in need of new flooring you would be doing yourself an injustice to go somewhere else. Where do I even begin to find the words to express how unbelievably grateful I am to the team at Pride Flooring? Joe, Brett, and Dan executed a FLAWLESS job in our home from the moment we walked into the store, all the way through to completion day. When my husband and I began our flooring journey, we were met with what could only be described as the typical Miami nightmare. Unreliable contractors, empty promises, and a lot of big talk with mediocre knowledge or skills. How can I make that statement with such candor? Because within 2 months we met with about 10 independent contractors, visited close to 30 stores across the city, had our floors partially installed THREE times, lost so much money, and were still at ground zero on the day we strolled into Pride Flooring. WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!!!!! First of all, it was so difficult to find exactly what I wanted that I originally settled for "okay" flooring. If you don't want gray, good luck finding plentiful and in stock options. When we walked in, I gasped at all of the options. There were so many I actually struggled deciding between my favorites. And as if that wasn't enough, here comes Joe with his UNBELIEVABLE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE, precisely telling us what would or wouldn't work with our subfloors just based on our descriptions. And boy was he spot on. Everything he told us in the first 10 minutes of speaking is what we learned after three failed installations where no one else was able to foresee our troubles. Now add a great personality, true professionalism, excellent service, and patience to that knowledge and that's Joe for ya! I still don't know if he truly understands how much he did for us. I was on the verge of tears nearly every night before bed, and my anxiety and stress were off the charts knowing we couldn't move into our new home months after we had closed because we couldn't get something as simple as our floors done properly. When we walked out of the store (with so many samples I didn't know how we would choose) I looked at my husband and said "This is it. I feel it!". And it was. Fast forward to today I am in awe at how perfectly and beautifully our floors came out. METICULOUSLY cut and placed flooring and floorboards. Joe was their customer-facing sales executive and he had a great information-rich, low-stress approach to selling. Had a great experience working with this company. I had a small job to do: re-carpeting my staircase since I'm selling my home. I found everyone with Pride flooring to be personable, professional, and knowledgeable. They were also able to help with a few minor details on our second floor as we installed a nice wood-looking porcelain tile but didn't have T molding between the master and the bathroom and we were missing two small pieces of base board. Once we selected the carpet for the stairs, the job started within a day. *Joe came to our home and gave us a quote for the various materials we were considering. He was very knowledgable and pleasant. We received our quote via email within a day or so. My husband went to their store to select the carpeting and give a deposit and then the job began. *Daniel came first to installed the small details and was quick yet thorough. Great job. *Juan came the next next to remove and install and was very respectful, clean, and courteous. I think he's one of the nicest people I've ever had come to do work in my home. My husband and I are very cautious of allowing strangers into our home, therefore my husband usually prefers to do things himself because of that. He explained the pros and cons of each type of flooring. He came to our house, measured, and gave us an estimate. We visited about 10 flooring companies, but felt Pride was the most professional, knowledgeable, and had the quality flooring for us. Plus, they're a family-owned local business. Do yourself a favor and visit Pride Flooring when shopping around for new floors or carpets. After speaking with Joe, he provided insightful knowledge that most other flooring companies fall short. After selecting four samples of laminate flooring, we made an appt so he can provide us with a quote and show us the floor samples we selected in our house. This proved to be very important bc we ended up selecting our 2nd choice since the lighting can make or break the flooring (not something most companies offer). Price is very reasonable and you know what you are getting. If you are on a budget, they can find you a type of flooring that will meet your needs. We ended up going with a laminate, distressed wood that looks absolutely perfect. Installation took one day (upstairs rooms, closets, and hallways). The installers arrived at 9:30 and quickly began removing the old laminate and carpet in the bedrooms. It was very loud and by the end, there were more than 6 installers to help compete the project. The company is very trustworthy and I would suggest you come and go rather than staying in the house. If I could I would give them 0 stars. We purchased a large order of patio tile and had an enormous amount of boxes left over. I called since it had been only 2 weeks since we purchased them to see if we could return the unused boxes and get a store credit or refund and was told the stocking fee to put back would be more than what we paid which is highly impossible since we paid a nice amount for the tile. Knowing how hard things are right now they should have had the decency to at least give us a credit. I would definitely never purchase or recomend them to anyone. I will make sure people know how they do business and could care less about the customer. Beware of this place. read more

First, a confession. We have never left a review of anything on Yelp before. However, this time is different and we want to say that we cannot come up with enough superlatives to describe the professionalism, craftmanship, and pleasure of dealing with Pride Flooring & Home Décor. Ours was a renovation project of an older home to remove wall to wall carpet and add wood flooring to a room downstairs, a winding staircase, hallways and three rooms upstairs. From guidance on the selection of the wood product, to and through the installation process, Pride Flooring was a pleasure to deal with. It was necessary for them to work around four fully furnished rooms while installing the new flooring and baseboards, all while keeping the disruption to us to a minimum. It is not often that you can say it was a pleasure having construction done in your home but everything was done on time, completed without issue, and at a more than fair price. We cannot say enough about the quality of both the work and the old school work ethic of Mark, Brett, Daniel and Joe in making our home much more beautiful than we had even envisioned. I'm about to save you some time, money, and attorneys fees. We initially had gone with Dolphin Carpet and Tile to do LVP in our new home which was a total disaster. After two years of fighting with a company that did not care about their customer, we went to Pride. Joe, Mark, and Brett have been amazing throughout the process. They are knowledgeable about their products, and respond quickly to any question or concerns. You are not just another dollar, you're truly a customer. They don't call themselves PRIDE for nothing, they LITERALLY take PRIDE in their work unlike most companies these days. read more

These guys are Pros. Joe was knowledgeable, transparent, and educated us on making the best decisions for our flooring needs.

The quality of work was good, but they will try to gouge you. Marc insisted I pay for something that had not been in any of the original discussions or quotes and he OVER-measured, thus attempting to charge me more on the invoice. I drove out there and signed paperwork and left a deposit. I told him I didn't like the base board styles he had and would hold off on that, but he wrote it in saying we could take it off later once I decided. I was handling the permitting process and they were flexible and punctual with that. Marc came to measure and quoted me for baseboard 256 linear feet for baseboard and 735 sq. ft of removing and disposing carpet and installing my floating bamboo flooring, labor only. Other quotes I got were for 160 linear feet for baseboard. When I called him on it, he said he 'doubled the living room'. Not sure why he would do that, when the living room and dining room were way bigger than the bedroom. At one point the underlayment I got did not pass permitting, so Pride Flooring recommended another kind and went and bought it. I also had by then gotten an Eco-underlayment that was also approved and wanted to use, but Marc claimed they'd had to go to Broward County for it, so I went to return what I bought even though I preferred to use my product. He lowered the price from $.75 to $.69 per ft to match. The guys came out and layed it, but didn't clean up after their first day, though they did the 2nd day after they installed the floor. After the first day while we were waiting for city inspection, I got another invoice from Marc, this time with a $96 charge for removing the baseboard. It was obvious because I had decided to purchase my own baseboard, he now wanted to charge me more.This was no where on any previous invoice or discussions that if for some reason I got my own baseboard they'd charge me for removal of my existing baseboard. I refused to pay it, and I also refused to use them to install my preferred baseboard, given this extra charge and also the gross mis-measurement of the baseboard linear feet when he came to measure. (Quiet Walk underlayment, $552; labor: $1987, including $150 paid to them to pick up some of the flooring 20 minutes from their office at Floor and Decor) read more
