Wow, this experience was a roller coaster. We decided to visit Exclusive Furniture on the same day we visited Lowe's, Costco and one other furniture retailer. Those trips resulted in us purchasing a fridge, washer, dryer and some miscellaneous home items. Although exhausted, we decided to visit Exclusive Furniture since the original goal of our trip was to replace our coffee table, furnish our gameroom and add a few rugs as a final attempt (for that trip anyways) to snag atleast one of those items. The good- *We loved that they worked with our home closing timeline. *They have a huge selection * Delivery went smoothly * A few weeks later I opened my door to find freshly baked cookies and a thank you note from Exclusive Furniture. I love a good surprise and delight moment. *The couch we purchased IS beautiful, and the leather is buttery soft The not so good- * For what it is, the pricepoint seems a bit high * Although we made a very expensive purchase we had to pay for delivery. * I've dealt with saley furniture shops, but this one may take the cake. Independent browsing felt near impossible. Although we purchased, I truly left feeling like a number. We prefer the ability to shop independently with the occasional check in, however, if that's not possible, we'd like to atleast feel like more than a paycheck. We went to Exclusive Furniture for patio furniture in the near future and ended up taking a tour around with Joseph Worrell who not only supported our search for patio furniture when our covered patio is complete, but also supported us in picking out a bar for our front room that has been vacant since moving in. I went into the store to buy a good bed. I found what I needed and paid for the items. Now I can't get them to answer the phone. My delivery is to be this Saturday, I have no idea what time frame that I have for my delivery. They won't even pick up the phone. I've called them numerous times and they still don't answer. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is awful. Exclusive Furniture has a predatory style of selling furniture. As soon as you swipe your credit card they print out a receipt and on the back it states that you CAN NOT return ANYTHING FOR ANY REASON. FYI- no one told us about this policy nor did we see any signage in the store. We bought over $50,000 worth of furniture and were treated like trash. Their same day delivery is false. It took them two months to get barstools that we selected with our original order because they kept forgetting to put it on the truck. Then they say they couldn't find them and had to order more. Two came in and they forgot to order four so that was another few weeks. When we finally received our furniture, the delivery person carried a heavy king nightstand on his back to our master bedroom. When he attempted to set it down he yelled "help" so my husband had to stop him from falling. The guy put a small hole in our wall outside of our master bedroom. I immediately pointed it out to him but I blew that off. Also, most of the drawers on the dresser and chest of drawers would not close all of the way. They sent someone over to fix it but he was unsuccessful. They ordered a replacement dresser and chest that took another couple of weeks to get. When the delivery person brought the furniture he put a small hole in our wall inside the master bedroom. I immediately addressed it and he said "oh, that it was already there"...WTH!!! My house is a brand new build and we had just moved in. There was no damage to my home. I will video tape them next time. When the replacement furniture came in the chest was fine but as I inspected the dresser I noticed that all of the trimming on it was all sticky as if it had been painted or refurbished. I asked the delivery person if the piece was used or refurbished. He became angry and started cussing at us and being disrespectful. He said "you people are being picky". "First you complain about the hole in the wall then you complain about my guy putting his drill on your bed and the rust stain that the dolly left on your carpet". "Call my boss and tell him to order us new equipment, it's their fault". I told him that we literally just moved in and y'all caused a lot of damage and you think we are not supposed to say anything. I don't even understand why you are mad. I should be acting like you. We paid a lot of money and had nothing but trouble with this company and we supposed to just take it and suck it up. Very upsetting experience - Cypress location. From the start, we were clear on the aesthetic we were going for in our home (rustic), but the sales rep kept showing us things that were not even close to what we were looking for - lots of modern/ contemporary. Spent over 7K for a bedroom and Bedgear mattress set, but when the delivery drivers came they did not have the box spring. Since there was no box spring, they said they couldn't put the mattress together, so I ended up having to assemble on my own (over 4 pieces of heavy mattress). I was puzzled since we were told at checkout we would have the box spring (even mentioned that this would be the cheaper option than what they were trying to sell us), but it was not on the receipt. Then we got a call from our sales rep Amani and he apologized that the box spring was not in the initial delivery and EXPLICTELY STATED that the box spring would be delivered on the following day AT NO CHARGE TO US. I even asked 2X that this WOULD BE AT NO CHARGE and he said "yes, we'll take care of it". I had him on speakerphone and my husband and I BOTH heard the same message. My husband followed up on the box spring today and Amani went back on his initial statement and accused us of lying, saying that he had never said the box spring would come at no cost. He said the delivery truck could have it over today and they would charge us $300. Overall, extremely disappointing experience, we will NEVER be back. On 5/26/22 I purchased some entertainment and office furniture from the Cypress location. The sales process was smooth, and the staff was friendly at the time of purchase. The entire experience changed when the items were delivered on 5/31/22. The 2 person delivery team arrived to assemble and install the office furniture. Once the desk was placed, the hutch was assembled and the installers lifted it to place it on the desk. This piece was top heavy, and the 2 men were not prepared when lifting it causing the piece to fall over. The fall damaged the hutch, my flooring, a window sill, and the window blinds in my home office. The installers picked up the hutch, and attempted to complete the installation of the damaged item. They were asked to stop and told the item needed to be returned as it was damaged. We immediately contacted the sales rep and sent photos of the damage. The following day a replacement piece was scheduled to be delivered late afternoon / early evening. At 9:25 pm the truck arrived but my wife did not allow the delivery team to install it because she noticed damage and numerous signs of wear as soon as it was brought inside. The installer told assured her it was new and would look fine once he installed it. After a few minutes they reluctantly placed it back on the truck and left. On 6/2 I went to the Cypress store to speak with the manager in hopes the company would do the right thing by delivering the furniture we agreed to purchase, in new condition and in a timely manner. After a few minutes he let me know the soonest a replacement piece could be delivered was over 3 weeks out. I let him know that would not work and asked that Exclusive Furniture pick up the incomplete desk that was left at my home and process the refund. Immediately following that visit I sent an email to the store and the customer service email address for the main office with photos of the damage attached, and have since made several phone calls and another visit to the store. I have yet to hear anything from the store or company management team regarding a refund, picking up the furniture from my home, or assisting with repairing the damage caused by the negligence of the delivery team. I purchased a sofa set worth of $3200 on Jan, 2018 which included 4 piece sectional sofa set with all 5 year protection plan. Today, we are seeing the very poor quality of the material used for the sofa set. All the leather is peeling off from everywhere. We reached out to the store and they didnt help. They simply said the protection plan is now moved with 3rd party vendor. They didnt inform us about anything. After a long process of registering the protection plan, filing a claim and they denied the sofa coverage. They did not help with anything. They are too small. There are HUGE gaps in between the cushions where they should fit snug. You literally fall in between cushions as you sit on the sofa. I have called, i have gone to the store, I've sent pictures twice (last set sent May 2nd) and NO RESPONSE. Moved to a new home & purchased everything new. Dinning area. Living room. Complete bedroom set. I've had the furniture less than a year & I've had issues since the beginning. We spent well over $5K on furniture. 1) The structure on the king bed is constantly messing up. I've contacted customer service 3 times with the same issue.
