As soon as I saw Barefoot Dreams and Brighton, I knew I'd stopped into the right place. First and foremost like any gift boutique, they've filled every corner with delicately displayed jewelry, luxury scents, kitchen decor, comfort clothing, accessories, baby products and more. Unlike others I've visited, they'd also staffed near every corner in preparation for Mother's Day. So in my shopping confusion, it was easy to find a friendly face eager to help. I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars worth of gifts, completely wrapped and ready to go. It seems like this is the kind of spot where the team knows the families, their children, their lives, and although I'm not a part of that network, I felt completely comfortable shopping there. This has happened three times. The employee offered to call me, I didn't request a phone call. I found this a bit frustrating when trying to purchase a specific gift for someone.

My friend, the ULTIMATE shopper, left empty handed. To be fair, she was just there 2 days prior, so that explained it. Top things I love about this store: the helpful and friendly store associate, the rare finds, and the pjs - OMG, the pjs! The softest material for pjs I have ever felt. They are like butter! My daughter met me here and she found a few she really liked. She ended up with a great a 5x7 rug for $69! She also got a few baskets for the baby stuff. They had a great selection of baskets too. I bought the cutest marble lazy Susan for my kitchen soap to sit on for only $12.99!!! The staff were helpful and pleasant. This is one of my new favorite stores! She told me I needed to get my eyes checked because I didn't see her. 12.27.22 Today experience in Floor & Decor left me…read morewondering if I would be returning. (I am pretty position I will not be purchasing anything from them now) If you are a store that sells only one product (i.e. flooring) please hire people with some knowledge in it. When I shop somewhere and ask an employee a question; I don't want to hear, "Maybe" or "I think that MIGHT work". If I'm going to spend our hard earned money, I must feel the employees know what they are talking about and not feeding BS. I did NOT get the feeling from talking to 3 different employees that they had ANY knowledge in the products they sell. I understand it is hard to find good help these days but please, don't just hire someone to just fill the position. Hire people with knowledge OR offer training classes for them to get this knowledge. The 3 employees I talked to day need the training ASAP.
