THE ABSOLUTE WORST TRAVEL GROUP EVER!!!!! Went to the Essence festival for the first time paid for the full package hotel suite, tickets to the concert for three days, a white party and another after party. The only thing that was right was my hotel!!!! I only got 1 ticket to the concert in the nose bleed section, never received any tickets to the white party or after party, myself and SEVERAL other people complained because they didn't receive their packages until the next day and they had a representative who didn't know anything and couldn't assist us in anyway!!!! Needless to say they were EXTREMELY unprofessional with terrible customer service!!! Promises to reimburse us for our tickets......NO REIMBURSMENT CAME TO ME even after several calls to them and filling out the forms they asked me to fill out. I WILL NEVER USE THIS TRAVEL GROUP AGAIN and I would strongly suggest no one else should either! read more

Last year I paid this company over 1300 to atten the Essence Festival, what a rip off, I think God they at least paid for the hotel and that's all they did because I never received nothing else. They said someone stole the tickets, now I know this company should have insurance or be bonded if they know what they are doing. One year later and we still have yet to receive our refund that they had use complete forms for to be reimbursed. I can't believe they are still trying to conduct travel business. The worse company and they want us to support black owned business. Get it together and maybe I can support you but I work hard for my money to just give it away like this. read more

I had a bad experience with this company as well. Bought a package for Essence Festival..Exec Travel kept changing the itinerary for several parties that we're part of our package and one party was cancelled and they did not issue us a refund We were supposed to have a bus shuttle to/from the hotel. The bus never showed up 2 nights in a row we had to walk from the Superdome to the hotel. We were supposed to get free breakfast every morning with our package. When we went to the hotel restaurant , the hostess told us the tickets did not work. We found out they overcharge for the packages with this exorbitant ' tax' charge because their assistant's are actually relatives/and or friends who get a free trip.for being a representative. Beware if u use your debit or credit card for your installment payment, they charge an additional surcharge each month. When we got to the hotel we found out how much our room really cost each night, because we asked the front desk agent. We got scammed. They did not apply one of my installments and I had to print out everything I paid with my balance record so that they could correct the balance.This company is very unprofessional, liars, and they will not deliver all that is advertised at the time of booking. I would not recommend using them. They also had the nerve to send me an email asking if I wanted to book my next Essence Festival trip using them. Uh, "no thanks', I would not even give them the 1 star on this review. read more

Rating negative 10. They are complete SCAM artist... In 2017 they took a few dozen people money for Essence festival and provided no tickets to the concert nor to the boat party with no reimbursement... we were pacified with 1 set of nose bleed sets which I did not use . And entrance to an already FREE Essence convention. Now their number is temporarily out of service.... Tell me you wouldn't feel scammed. Under NO circumstances should anyone ever use them . I(and 7 of my girlfriends) recently booked & paid for(in installments) a vacation to Aruba through Exec Travel Group to attend the Soul Beach Music Festival and was really excited to be going on my first "Caribbean" vacation! We all paid off our trip, which included concert tickets for 3 shows & tickets for five after parties...and a 5 night stay in an all inclusive 5 star hotel! Everything went smoothly.(trip paid off, packed and ready to roll) We got to our hotel & were supposed to meet our agent in the hotel lobby at 9pm to pick up our vacation packets. We unpack, hit the bar, and wait. No call, no email, no nothing! We decide not to let it ruin our night & get dressed to go to one of the five parties that we paid for.... We get there, pay(again) to get in, & party the night away. The next morning we get a call saying that our agents assistant will be there at 9am with our packets. We meet her & ask what happened? She informs us that the plane had "issues" and that caused them to be late. Okay....so do we get a reimbursement for the party we actually paid twice for? We decide not to press the assistant because she was just that...and had no answers. We continue on with our FABULOUS vacation!! That night we go to the annual "White party" and run into another snag! We show up with our party pass(which is a paper ticket) and are told that we are supposed to have tickets...huh? We all talk to the guy & he tells us that the travel company did stuff wrong but he's gonna "fix it." He does indeed & we get all of our party tickets (including the one we paid double for) and we get our boogie on!(but the hassle leaves a bad rates in my mouth...what else is gonna go wrong!!) Well...what went wrong next...we try to get into the actual concerts(the following nights) with the paper(with barcode) tickets that were in our packets & SURPRISE!!! Only two tickets actually work!! When the other 6 are scanned we are told that they'd already been scanned!!! So now we're all standing there looking STUPID along with about 2 dozen other exec travel clients who had the same issue! Thankfully the guy let us all in, after he's provided with the company's info, and we got to enjoy the show. We finish out our wonderful vacation(without anymore glitches)pack, & head home exhausted but happy!! Aruba is truly "One Happy Island." On our way home my girlfriend(who referred us to Exec Travel Group) decides to email our agent to discuss reimbursement for the party we paid for & an explanation as to what really happened? She did get a small apology & an explanation saying that they would have to get money back from the promoter first because their company does not issue refunds...but was also told that we were the only ones who complained about missing/paying for the party & that we needed to provide her with a receipt...huh? You know you never gave us actual tickets! I thought that was very unprofessional! Just take ownership of your mistake & give us back our money!(which is really a small amount but it's the principal of it all) SMDH...I can say did have a great time in Aruba! I just think that people need to be mailed actual tickets in advance of the travel dates so that these types of things don't happen.... read more

If I could give a zero I would. Erica Waller and Shannon Sani/Deveroux scammed myself and four friends out our Essence Festival package. They are refusing to answer any calls or emails. We did not get any of the tickets (concert and boat ride) we paid for. The tickets were never purchased for either of the events so the money should have been on hand for reimbursement. This review is actually a Zero. My first time visiting New Orleans to go to Essence Festival was a nightmare thanks to Exec Travel. This would be my first and last time going to Essence Festival or any other trip with any travel agency. I repeat, I will never book with another travel agency again. I paid $1400 for: hotel thurs-mon, essence 3 day passes for plaza level seating(100 level), all white Steamboat cruise with brunch and a gift bag. I only got hotel, which was nice. 1.) Was told to meet Erica Waller travel agent in lobby of hotel Thursday from 2pm-7pm, where I could pick up all my tickets, gift bag and hotel keys. SHE NEVER SHOWED UP. we checked in with hotel. 2.) two of us in my party but one kept getting texts from agency saying to meet up in another hotel to get tickets in the am, they will text again with hotel and time..NEVER HAPPENED 3.) got text message next afternoon(not morning like we was told previous day) given a 30 minute time window to pick up tickets, tickets were just purchased for Friday only and 500 level seats. be mindful 500 level seats were only $50 if you purchased that day on ticketmaster. AENCY NEVER PURCHASED TICKETS FOR ANY OF THEIR CLIENTS. 4.) NEVER GOT TICKETS FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Sent us a text message on Saturday around 4pm saying they didn't have any tickets. Concert started at 630pm(uurgh) 5.) NEVER GOT BOAT CRUISE. 6.) GIFT BAG WAS $5 HEADPHONES PURCHASE FROM 5 BELOW. 7.) Had to pay close to $500 for last minute essence tickets 100 level seats. We are now in the process of suing this agency. read more
