When on business we usually stay at a lesser expensive hotel because 1. It's cost effective and 2. We usually are only staying for a couple of days... while in Everett this month we stayed at this Beat Western. Overall it was okay. When we got into the hotel itself the welcome desk and entry way was inviting && clean. When entering the room to investigate the room - it was an interesting layout. There was a long hallway with a kitchenette in their king bed room. The only unfortunate thing was that the refrigerator didn't work and the bathroom was a little interesting to say the least. I think this place is a solid 3. The thing that set it apart was the service. The front desk service man was awesome and the continental breakfast was pretty god the thing that really made the stay! read more

Friendly desk agent. The room is clean and I appreciate the full size fridge and microwave oven, there is also a stove but I didn't use it. The bed is relatively comfortable if a bit on the soft side. Breakfast is included and it's pretty good. There are hot and cold options, there's also a waffle iron to make your own waffles. There is plenty of free parking for hotel guests. Many restaurants nearby as well as Costco and Everett Mall. I would stay here again. read more

Complaint - For the price of the room, it's not 100% not worth it. We've been coming to this hotel for a few years just for a fast getaway and we always get the same room, but this time we got the counterpart across the hall. We walk in and the whole room smelt like stagnant piss.. We sprayed some refresher before we left and came back late night with the smell still there. The jetted bath had what looked like leftover dead skin, dog hairs or cat hairs, and just obvious weird chunks floating. We always choose these rooms for the in-room jetted tub, but this time it was creating its own ecosystem. Bed was squeaky enough that if either of us moved, it woke the other up. The blankets on the bed were 1 sheet, and 1 1/4in woven style blanket that was too rough to use. Parking was crazy this time. They have signs that say us customers acknowledge that our car may get broken into and they have no part in it. But when we come back to the hotel, there's absolutely no parking, which forced us to park at the gas station parking completely out of site of the hotel entirely. I really wanted to like this hotel. 17 years ago when I lived in Everett, it was a really nice hotel. However, it's clearly gone downhill. So let's start with the positives. First, this is a bedbug free hotel, I checked the room thoroughly before bringing my child, dog, and luggage in. The beds are also very comfortable. If you bring a pet and stay over five days they only charge you a max of $100, which was a nice surprise because I had planned and budgeted $180 for my 9 night stay. Breakfast was ok, it's a mix of warm and grab and go, coffee was ok. They started running out of plain and cinnamon raisin bagels by Friday. Now, here are the negatives. After 32 hours on the road we finally arrived at 2pm. This is after only 45 minutes of sleep during those 32 hours. I asked the girl at the front desk if I could please check in an hour early. She wasn't having it. It wasn't her fault. I'm sure there's a policy or housekeeping is slow. So I waited another torturous hour in the car. When I got into the room there were spots on the floor and urine drops around the bottom outside edge of the toilet. This room was clearly not thoroughly cleaned. Luckily, I was prepared and Lysoled the room and shower/bath down before we brought our items in. I informed the front desk of the spots on the carpet so they wouldn't blame my sweet little dog. The outside dog area is small and the gate only worked half the time we were there. The card scanner did not want to work most of the time. The day I wanted to use the laundry there was some technician trying to fix some of the machines so I went to an actual laundromat. The housekeeping person was subpar at best. On Thursday, when our room was scheduled to be cleaned, I made sure we were out most of the day. When we came back the person had taken our extra towels that WEREN'T on the floor, hadn't cleaned the toilet (those urine spots were STILL there), there were crumbs on the counter, they put the silverware up while it was still dirty, and they left their cleaning/disinfecting spray on top of the fridge. The only thing they seemed to do well was replace the linens and I think they skipped the pillow cases on my bed. Not good. Overall, would not recommend. read more

We stayed here a few years back and we enjoyed it. So when we spent a whole day at the the zoo, we chose to stay here for the night to recuperate. Fruit-infused ice water available at the lobby through out the day. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful and made checking in a breeze. We got in later that night so we were given a mobility accessible room which is on the first floor just behind the front desk/offices and across from the pool and fitness centre. The closest room to the lobby where breakfast is held. The room is clean and big, lots of space for the kiddies to move around. Comes with a full kitchen with pots and pans, cutlery, plates, etc. Breakfast includes yogurt, fruits, juice, coffee, water, omelette, potato and ham, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins, cookies, and their make-your-own BW waffles--regular or blueberry. The BW blueberry waffles are good. If you can't stay for breakfast, just ask the front desk for a goodie bag and it's breakfast to go. read more

The sign out front says it's a Regency by best western. We stayed here 3 nights. One of the things I live most about best western is waking up and getting breakfast without having to make it. I am 6 months pregnant, and was talking about that all week prior to our vacation. Unfortunately they are not doing breakfast. They do a grab and go breakfast, which is more of a snack than a breakfast. I was extremely disappointed, especially because the website does say they provide a hot food item. They only had it on the last day, and it was a prepackaged sausage biscuit thing that was I couldn't eat anyway. The room was good, it has a small kitchen so we could have cooked. The bed was hard, but it just seemed like a firm bed, not old. We brought our dogs, and saw alot of people with dogs. They were still doing work and there was zero grass or turf on the property for a dog relief area. You had to take them out on the other side of the road in the landscape strip to get to grass. Overall it wasn't bad, but the no breakfast where online it says there is breakfast was really upsetting to this pregnant lady. There are no restrictions that would have stopped them from serving a normal breakfast, other than this hotel deciding not to provide it. Food is pretty expensive around here, so it added to the cost of our trip. read more

Stayed at the Navigator Inn during the record breaking heat wave and had one of the best trips in recent memory. I can understand why some reviews may vary for this establishment given the location in the heart of a troubled urban city. But this establishment could not be better. We stayed in one of their hot tub suites enjoying 65 degree air conditioning while it was 110 degrees outside. Everything was clean and nice. We really enjoyed our big suite with the little kitchen and the huge awesome hot tub. We vacation a lot and get hot tub suites a lot, the hot tub suite we got at the Navigator was one of coolest and most modern we've experienced. I really have to compliment the staff though. I have never seen such a stressful and tough job as the staff dealing with the biggest heat wave ever. Every staff member we encountered was amazing and went above and beyond in a frenzied and difficult historic time. The front desk specifically on the hottest days didn't have a free moment as they had lines of frustrated hot people and phones literally for three straight days. Specifically the morning manager and the lady with glasses working afternoons were exceptional. The staff at this hotel really bust their buns to make the experience here the best possible. We stayed at the highest rated resort in the area right before staying at the Navigator Inn and had a better time at the Navigator. Best bang for the buck in the area. read more

My husband and I decided to take an impromptu birthday roadtrip to Washington from Vancouver with our little doggo, now that covid restrictions have loosened. We decided to take the ferry from Oak Harbour to Everett as we have never been. We generally stay at BW plus for the good service, pet friendly & Great breakfast. We arrived early, hoping to check in and use the hot tub & pool to relax. We were "greeted" by a front receptionist who didn't look happy and seemed miffed that we would asked for early check in. We finally got our room at 2pm, after arriving at 1030am. We understand the check in reason, but the staff attitude was not at all welcoming. We were happy to have booked the king suite with a jetted tub for two. That was the highlight! The bed was really, really high and I'm 5"7! It was a full base and 2 mattresses high. We tried to get some food from their pantry but they were out of stock on most everything and said we should go to the gas station next door. Breakfast the next morning offered scrambled eggs, bacon & hashbrowns plus make your own waffles, cinnamon bun pastries, and assorted cereal, fruit salad, yogurt, bread, etc. It was ok, but not like the selection offered at any BW plus we've stayed at in Canada. The area was very loud on the outside and sounded like someone was trying our door from the hallway. We had double bolted the doors! There seemed to be a lot of homeless, transient folks in the area too. We enjoyed the double jacuzzi tub, but that's about all. Otherwise, 2 stars! read more

This hotel experience was AWFUL. Don't be fooled by the advertised picture, it's not only deceptive, but it's in an inconvenient location as well, in relation to getting on and off I5. But regarding my actual reservation, I made via Expedia, I arrived at the hotel in the early evening and was greeted by a less than enthusiastic employee. Upon entering the lobby, there was a heavy chlorine smell from the pool and there was visible trash on the lobby floor. I was informed that their computers were down and she needed to make a copy of my credit card and ID to check in. She was in the back for an extended period of time. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds for myself and a girlfriend I was day tripping with. Another female employee (who was very casually dressed, wearing her mask below her nose during the entire time we were at the front, despite signage that touted health and cleanliness) appeared and the girl asked her about the room with 2 queen beds, per the reservation and I was given a parking pass and room key. We made our way to the room slid the card key and was greeted by the strong scent of weed and a woman who was occupying the room. We immediately went back to let the front desk know the room was occupied. There was no apology or explanation, only the offer of a different room with a king sized bed and pull out sleeper. Again, no apologies just an as a matter of factly, blasé attitude. I asked to cancel the reservation and my friend booked a room at the Holiday Inn. I had to ask for the copies of my card and ID back. I understand that Everett, WA is probably not a hotbed for hotel activity but, found the lack of care and hospitality unprofessional and disrespectful. I do not recommend this place and will likely never stay at another Best Western property again. read more

Ok the shower here will flows into the hallway area. I don't know how these poor cleaners keep this place clean. I'm tracking drywall into my room bc I was walking around in my socks. We appeared to have had the only room in the hotel that hadn't been renovated. The photos of this hotel were incredibly misleading and the price does not reflect what we received. This place looked really nice from photos and the guy that checked us in was nice. However, when we got to our room, I was surprised bc our room hadn't been one that looked like the photos. Still had watercolor paintings on walls and 90's feel to it. That wasn't the only disappointment. After about an hour when we came back from eating dinner, we realized the bathroom was even worse than the rest of the room. It was old tile "complete with soapscum and black mold in the grout" I took photos just in case. If you stay here, please request to not stay in room 122. This Best Western has all the amenities of any other 4 star hotel. Cleaning staff is deep so you know they maintain all the areas we can't see and really make shine the areas we can. All the staff smiles and asked if I was enjoying my stay. Once or twice a week they put dinner out with wine and beer on tap for free. I know right...., FREE!! It may be for all the construction personnel that stay here while doing work at Boeing but I'll take it! I don't know much about this city. It may have an issue with drugs and prostitutes but that isn't apparent when you stay here. Security at night patrols parking lot. Chevron is walking distance for a late night snack. I will be staying here anytime I'm in Everett. read more

If you don't mind staying in the suburbs where most things close at 9pm, and you have to drive 20 miles to get anywhere interesting, then this location will probably be okay. Personally, I was looking for affordable, but clean, nice and safe, and this location seemed to fit the bill. There is a decent morning breakfast served here daily. Plus, weeknight evening, you can enjoy a happy hour with beer, wine and food in the lounge. There is also a laundry mat, gym and pool on site, but I didn't find time to use any of those facilities. Unfortunately for me, my room was located right next to the elevator, so the traffic of people heading out woke me each morning. There was also some sort of construction going on outside nearby the hotel which was also loud and disruptive to my sleep, and it seemed to start well before 8am. One day we had a fire inspection from 10am-2pm. The alarms went off and we were told that the fire inspection crew would be visiting each of the rooms to check the sprinkler heads. The alarms did go off for less than a minute. I wear earplugs, so the noise wasn't as piercing as it would have been if I wasn't wearing them. I was actually looking forward to the visit from the fire crew, but alas, they never showed. I'm guessing they didn't really need to check all four floors of the building. The staff here were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping seemed respectful of my belongings. I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again, but I would be more likely to find a less expensive place closer into town (Seattle) if I needed accommodations in the future. read more

I've stayed here several times because we like the big bathtub but won't be back. Our room was not clean. We found beer cans in the shower, other guests clothing and once even drug parafanelia. The staff was quite rude and didn't seem to care whether or not we had a good experience. I stay at many Best Westerns and this is the worst I've seen. My family and love staying at Beat Western. The facility is very clean, the rooms are spacious with stove, full refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. They are very clean and quiet. The front desk have coffee and tea service 24hrs hours. The free breakfast is from 6am-10am daily. They have waffles, bacon, eggs, hash browns, yogurt, fresh OJ, apple juice, danish, muffins. Cereals, milk, variety. They keep everything clean. The indoor pool is heated and the jets in the jacuzzi are very relaxing. I highly recommend this place and will be staying here each time we visit Seattle. read more

If I could give negative points I would. I have NO IDEA how this is a Best Western Plus?!! The room smells like smoke, stains all over carpets and walls, the shower is moldy and rusted, and the location is in the shiftiest part of town. This is by no means a plus or a suite hotel and is not in line with the cost for the terrible room. We are Diamond Members and stay in hotels at least 100 nights a year. We are usually quite happy with the quality of their Plus hotels. This is an utter disappointment! DO NOT stay here if at all possible! This place is a joke. While this place is worn out and in need of a face lift and a deep clean and a few screws tightened it served a purpose of a good place to lay our head down at night. Not far from Wal-mart, Dollar Tree and a 7-11, and not far down the Road is Buzz Inn, and on Sunday they have 50% off burgers which are amazing! And they will wrap them in Lettuce. The hotel amenities were great! I used the hot tub once. There was a full fridge in my room. You do have to ask to have your room turned as, like many hotels, they use Covid to cut labor. There were two really bad experiences. One, my 19 year old son had a rage attack, and instead of notifying me, they called the police. Once I talked to them, they understood. Two, my son had loaned a book to staff and I was told it was at the front desk. I called the desk to verify Friday night. Saturday morning when I came down to retrieve it, there was no one there. So I went beyond the desk and peaked into the back office, no one there. As I came back out a lady quickly rushed toward me and instead of believing the best, asked me in an angry tone. WHAT are you doing back there? I told her I was looking for my book and had arranged to pick it up the night before. She excused her absence by exaggerating that she was only gone "30 seconds". Then I guess I was back there 20? She retrieved my book and I went to breakfast. I observed her leaving the building for a smoke break and she scowled at me as she went out. I decided after breakfast to attempt to make peace with her. I went outside and asked her, Why are you so pissed off at me? (not the best choice of words) She was smoking and had her mask pulled down. As soon as I approached she put up her mask. (I found it ironic that she was a masker and a smoker. If you don't want a respiratory infection, stop smoking!) Anyway, I asked her what she was afraid of? She informed me that many staff were out with Covid. I Iater found out she was the manager, as she never identified her position. I could see she was not in a hospitality mindset and so I returned to my room to Shabbat (rest). About an hour later I received a phone call from her saying she had requested the owners to kick me out! I asked, For what? She said , For not wearing a mask. I had already been there a week without incident and not wearing a mask. I told her that but she was firm in her revenge for me violating her sacred space. I told her I don't drive on Sabbath nor could I replace the room as the company that reserved it for me and my company were closed. She neither cared or offered to arrange other accommodations. She continued to make my phone ring until I unplugged the harassing noise. Another hour passed, and there was knocking at my door. Another officer. I told my story. He said they had the right to refuse service. I told him they could not discriminate on religious or health options. I looked up the "code" later and he left out "for reasonable reasons". He said he would talk to them and I said I could be out by dark. He never came back. (Hotel Engine did wind up graciously helping me.) At his point I received a survey form an unidentified employee name Roel Miranda. Bad timing on his part. I spared no details. In no time I received a personal letter form this man who was not familiar with the exemptions in the Washington State mandate as regards to health or religious exemptions. I told him he was liable to be sued for discrimination and hate crimes. I received no reply. Having stated all this, the gross ignorance of the hotel staff regarding a citizen's rights was appalling. I felt sorry for the manager whose employer refuses to pay higher wages to higher more staff. I already reported this hotel to Hotel Engine and suggested they remove this hotel from their list. read more

We were visiting Everett to see some family with our 2 year old toddler and decided to get the nicest room with a spa bath jacuzzi so our little one could play and enjoy his experience! Upon checking in everything was great, while we were settling in the jacuzzi started going off all by itself and since there was no water in it the air was extremely loud that it scared our son. We were headed to the store so I told the front desk lady and she didn't really seem to know what to say or do so I just let it be because it had only happened once. Later that night I set up the jacuzzi for my son to play in but didn't turn on the jets since I'm sure he wouldn't like it. We laid him down for bed around midnight and out of no where the jets started going off again. It's very loud and if you're a parent with a toddler you know any loud unexpected noises can startle your little one... It continued to go off and on until 1 AM we decided to pack up and check out because our son was terrified. I asked the lady at the front desk if I could complain why we were leaving and explained what had happened but she showed no emotion what so ever. She checked us out within seconds and that was it. She didn't offer to put us in a different room or refund us for our bad experience due to the conditions of the room! I reached out the the hotel via email and got no response. I reached out through their customer service line and she told me she would put a request through for a refund but I have not heard back. I booked through our T-Mobile app and they reached out for a refund as well but they denied it. I've never experienced such horrible customer service due to the conditions of a hotel room! I do not recommend staying here considering we paid for the most expensive room just for them to do nothing in return for us having to leave. read more

Got a last minute reservation (eight hours prior to arrival) @ this hotel. Negotiated a better rate for a suite. The rooms were clean and the included breakfast was really good. The location was easy to find and not far from off of main roads. One of the amenities was the free breakfast. There was a variety of foods available from cereal to yogurt. The big hit with my daughter was the waffles that we prepared ourselves. Dining area was a little hectic but staff kept it clean and the other guests were all friendly. We even invited a gentleman who was in town to celebrate his wife's 85th b-day to join us. If I had to pay the "rack rate" I'd give it a 3.5 rating (mostly because of parking). I would still recommend it as a great place to stay. read more

My husband and I received a gift certificate to stay in the bubble tub suite for our anniversary and were so pleased! The staff was friendly and the suite was even larger/nicer than we anticipated. The bubble tub was so fun and elegant! Everything throughout the hotel was very clean and the complimentary breakfast the morning after was excellent -- so many options and everything was uber fresh. The best part was that we were able to "get away" and have a lovely anniversary evening and a nice dinner out without a bunch of travel and finding a pet sitter, so it's likely that we'll hit this up again in the future for a weekend escape :) Recommend! read more

So, we didn't have high hopes for this place and we were pleasantly surprised. They take pets for a $20 fee, which they didn't charge us. There is a pool, hot tub, work out room. Our room was a queen bed, stove, sink, and full size fridge. We paid around $100 for the room. They provide dinner Monday-Thursdays. Our night it was stuffed peppers and Spanish rice. The breakfast was great: eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, waffles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, yogurt, cold cereal...coffee and juice. Complimentary newspapers. PRO TIP: If you take your dog outside to go potty, and you want to come back in using your key card using the side door, the door opens...turn the handle up.
