Room 119

We stayed here a few years back and we enjoyed it. So when we spent a whole day at the the zoo, we chose to stay here for the night to recuperate. Fruit-infused ice water available at the lobby through out the day. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful and made checking in a breeze. We got in later that night so we were given a mobility accessible room which is on the first floor just behind the front desk/offices and across from the pool and fitness centre. The closest room to the lobby where breakfast is held. The room is clean and big, lots of space for the kiddies to move around. Comes with a full kitchen with pots and pans, cutlery, plates, etc. Breakfast includes yogurt, fruits, juice, coffee, water, omelette, potato and ham, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins, cookies, and their make-your-own BW waffles--regular or blueberry. The BW blueberry waffles are good. If you can't stay for breakfast, just ask the front desk for a goodie bag and it's breakfast to go.

The sign out front says it's a Regency by best western. We stayed here 3 nights. One of the things I live most about best western is waking up and getting breakfast without having to make it. I am 6 months pregnant, and was talking about that all week prior to our vacation. Unfortunately they are not doing breakfast. They do a grab and go breakfast, which is more of a snack than a breakfast. I was extremely disappointed, especially because the website does say they provide a hot food item. They only had it on the last day, and it was a prepackaged sausage biscuit thing that was I couldn't eat anyway. The room was good, it has a small kitchen so we could have cooked. The bed was hard, but it just seemed like a firm bed, not old. We brought our dogs, and saw alot of people with dogs. They were still doing work and there was zero grass or turf on the property for a dog relief area. You had to take them out on the other side of the road in the landscape strip to get to grass. Overall it wasn't bad, but the no breakfast where online it says there is breakfast was really upsetting to this pregnant lady. There are no restrictions that would have stopped them from serving a normal breakfast, other than this hotel deciding not to provide it. Food is pretty expensive around here, so it added to the cost of our trip.

Keep working guys. Almost done!

So I got this hotel room through Hotels.com and it did not say they were renovating the Lobby, stairs. I was disappointed. The Room was a little outdated but whatever it was clean. Ok the shower here will flows into the hallway area. I don't know how these poor cleaners keep this place clean. I'm tracking drywall into my room bc I was walking around in my socks. My fault I guess. The happy hour is a joke. I will not stay here next time. Oh and I saw needles outside by the gas station. So watch your step.

We appeared to have had the only room in the hotel that hadn't been renovated. The photos of this hotel were incredibly misleading and the price does not reflect what we received. This place looked really nice from photos and the guy that checked us in was nice. However, when we got to our room, I was surprised bc our room hadn't been one that looked like the photos. Still had watercolor paintings on walls and 90's feel to it. That wasn't the only disappointment. After about an hour when we came back from eating dinner, we realized the bathroom was even worse than the rest of the room. It was old tile "complete with soapscum and black mold in the grout" I took photos just in case. If you stay here, please request to not stay in room 122. Completely disappointed and not worth what you pay.

I like the theme but I found the rooms smell a bit musty. The kitchen and big fridge was really nice for our room and I like that dinner is served Mon.- Thurs. (not a big selection but...). The pool is nice and I love the staff. Fred Meyer is nearby for an easy access store.

The indoor pool is heated and the jets in the jacuzzi are very relaxing.

It's been a very peaceful, relaxing time much needed away from everybody else. I didn't really play any games. I just had a nice brunch, sat and looked at the walls and all the old pictures, listened, watched, and just relaxed.

This was booked by my wife so I went in blindly and wasn't able to do my usual research. I'm huge on making sure places are safe for us as a queer and black couple. We stayed in a suite on the 12th floor. Beautiful room and view. VERY CLEAN. We were able to book a couples massage. The spa was probably the best thing about the entire experience except for a few oddities here and there. The woman we checked in with at the spa was nice enough or least she seemed that way until she thought we weren't going to tip her. Very awkward exchange toward the end but before that we loved the spa and sauna, and the masseuses. Here it is five days later and I'm still relaxed! The relaxation room wasn't very clean and it's where you have to eat (salads and drinks were yummy). The chairs either need to be replaced or steam cleaned. We only got to eat at one restaurant because the two we would have chosen were closed on the days we were there. Journey's East had okay food and the service was nothing to brag about. Just kind of felt like we were sitting in a cafeteria. The pizza place a few steps down (blazin paddles) was delicious. Also, loved the bartender. We also loved the cafe that was open 24 hours. Thumbs down for cedars cafe. Everything on my plate was overcooked. My wife's omelet was overstuffed with raw peppers so she eventually gave up on it. We didn't complain much as honestly only two staff member's in the whole resort made us feel welcomed. We did decide to swim on the first day. I was not a fan of the guy at the door. He was super snarky when we asked general questions about the pool area before we went to our room to change into swimwear. Outside of the resort, I really enjoyed the outlet. I would for sure go back to shop. Ppl there also seem to like Galbi burgers so we stopped by. I would visit Tulalip again for the right concert or market as well. Overall, it wasn't the best (or worst) experience. I also can't say that I felt super safe or comfortable (in the resort) but we made the best of the trip and found enough of it to be worth the drive and money to maybe just do a day trip next time. The community itself outside of the resort was very nice !

We were so lucky to have experienced both moon and sun rises each day during our stay!! The frolicking seals, numerous water foul and two crotchety herons welcomed us with all their natural glory!! The check in process was easy and couldn't have been more convenient!! We arrived late and entered our room with our issue. We were greeted with some delicious treats, cookies, gummies, trail mix and pop corners!! Such a lovely welcome surprise. There were fresh cut flowers and plenty of warm blankets to enjoy a lovely evening or morning sit in the nicely decorated deck outside. Couple of hot tips for those with an EV. Be sure to have the "Blink" app on your phone as there are 2 charges within walking distance through town. We waited till around 11:00pm when the chargers were vacant. We parked and charged the car as we slept. Grabbing the car around 5:30am when the charge ended. 7.6kw charges. Not fast but in this scenario worked very well for us. $17.00 bucks and the tank was full for another day of island exploration!!
