We originally booked 137 Events for 12 hours but later agreed to reduce the time to 8. In a verbal agreement with the venue team, we planned to arrive at 3:00 PM rather than 11:00 AM. While we were told refunds weren't offered, the remaining value was to be reallocated toward setup assistance--instead of a refund, we paid $1,000 for that service. My wife spent over 45 minutes explaining our setup needs. Despite that, when we arrived, the only thing visibly completed was the tables and chairs (which may have been arranged by guests). Traci attempted to set up floral arrangements but significantly deviated from the instructions provided. Most other elements were incomplete or missing. Had we known this would be the case, we would have stuck with our original plan and brought a setup team. Instead, we trusted the venue staff--and were left scrambling before the reception. We also followed the bar policy as it was explained to us verbally by Cheryl, which we understood to be the most current guidance. On the day of the wedding, however, our bartender was caught off guard when Traci contradicted those instructions, creating confusion and tension. Traci was also expected to assist our DJs with lighting cues, but she was unavailable when needed. I had to search the property to find her just before our first dance--something that nearly didn't happen as planned. When my wife, visibly upset, expressed concern about the unfinished setup, Traci laughed and walked away. My wife--still in her wedding dress--ended up placing candles and arranging guest tables herself instead of preparing for the reception. On top of that, we did not know how to turn the power on to the bridal suite when my wife arrived, and Traci was not present to turn it on, preventing her from using the space to get ready. After the event, I contacted Cheryl to express our concerns. Rather than accountability, I received conflicting accounts and excuses--some of which contradicted things I personally witnessed or handled myself. This was one of the most important days of our lives. It's deeply upsetting that the venue's lack of professionalism added so much avoidable stress. I cannot recommend this venue to other couples. Our experience was frustrating, disappointing, and far below the standard we were promised.

Took us about 20min from being behind a customer, to placing our order to receiving our order. So a little longer than a regular drive thru but the food is good! Pro Tip: the habanero sauce is fire! I mean it will literally taste like fire when you use it, so be careful! Her other sauce is so delicious! Perfect spice and flavor! The habanero is for when you really like a kick to your tastebuds! Get it! Asada was more tender and almost shredded compared to a lot of the other places I go to. I didn't mind it! Burrito was a win and would come back for another. The Esquite was good! It definitely tasted more like melted Mayo with corn sitting in it but it wasn't a bad thing. The hibiscus was fantastic! Taste was one of the better drinks I've had from any Mexican restaurant. Pro Tip: be ready for them not to have certain things. Being a mom and pop shop, the day we went they didn't have horchata or tamales. Give this place a go if you're ever done getting your car washed, or happen to be coming or going down this area. Make sure not to pass it, it's right next to Gozen.
