Hier im "Dorf Bottrop" wurde die Spickenbaum-Mühle im Jahre 1874 fertig gestellt. Die Mühle weist die typischen Merkmale einer Wall- Turmwindmühle auf. In den ebenerdig ausgebauten Wall führt eine groß dimensionierte Einfahrt für Pferdefuhrwerke und Karren jeder Art. Mit dem Bau einer Mühlen-Gaststätte schaffte sich der Sohn des Mühlenbauers im Jahre 1904 ein zweites witschaftliches Standbein. Gemütliche Gastronomie gehört an diesem Ort seit mehr als 100 Jahren zur Tradition. Im Restaurant Mylos setzen wir diese Tradition für kleine und große Gäste fort. Spezielle griechische Gerichte werden nach original griechischen Rezepten frisch zubereitet. Mylos steht für Gastfreundschaft, Tradition und ein entspanntes, griechisches Ambiente. I can only confirm the positive judgements about this Restaurant. We came there without having…read morebooked and it was crowded. Nevertheless the very friendly were able to find us a place to have dinner. I have eaten that night the best pork fillet I ever had. It was declared to be from a Bio-Schwein, and the taste was definitly different from what you normally get. The Spaetzle and the cabbage was also good. Of the same quality was the Frischlingsruecken (filet from young boar). The only dish I liked less were the noodles with truffles, too much cream! I know that the cream enhances the taste of the truffles, but this was too much. I ordered the proposed wine (aglianico) without asking for the winelist, but I would have preferred to have got the winelist without asking for it :-)
