Once we saw the craftsmanship and meticulousness of how Dan worked to match up the brickwork for the Chimney and how professionally he and his crews preformed in all areas including clean-up at the end of the day-we were sold! Every nook and cranny requiring repair around the foundation was done expertly. The chimney looks amazing and you would never know the bricks weren't the same (they were older bricks that were discontinued). The care and precision taken in every step of the process was done to perfection. The porch stone work is spectacular and how they worked to ensure the angles for water flow (away from the house)...everything was taken into consideration. At the onset, quotes were reasonable prior to Covid-19 and he stuck to what was promised with no hidden surprises - and let us know when one project turned out to be less than quoted. The worker Marc Roy, started the work at my place. It all looked very good, he requested more money…read moreas he miss calculated the amount of space to cover. He request more money to help pay his workers, which I did as he was doing a good job. He then requested more money for the extra stone he had to purchase. By the time I realized it I had given him almost all of the money. His tarp broke my basement window which he said he would fix at his expense, that was never done. Continual calling to get the job done he never completed the job and took the money. Do not trust this guy Marc Roy (Lindsay) Ontario to do any stone work for you. Left my place with a broken windows junk scattered all around my yard, stonework halfway done and money gone!! I had to hire a new brick layer to complete the task and pay to have the trash removed from my property. Not a trust worthy person, he was doing a good job all he had to do was complete the work started.. DO NOT TRUST!!!!

I contracted two jobs with groundworks, 1. basement waterproofing and 2. front step repair…read more The method used for the basement was more economical, and efficient than other quotes. For the initial quote I met with Behtash Adib. He was punctual, professional and took the time to answer any and all questions. While deciding on the scope of the job Behtash was consistent with prompt responses and information. The basement waterproofing was done by Ade, Shy and Vandyke. During the project they noticed a potential problem in the same room unrelated to their work. The team notified me and even paused while they had a specialist stop by and check it out. This was above and beyond and extremely helpful. The second project was my front steps. Over the years the cement steps cracked and started to settle into the ground. The concrete repair team fixed this quickly, with excellent results. Andrew and Russel took the time to confirm my expectations of the job and answer any questions I had. Before booking with groundworks I read only stellar 5 star reviews, and I am confident in saying they are all well deserved.
