Same parking lot in back, new light-up pole (apparently the only one in Utah). Tried the chicken sandwich this time. It was good. Disappointed with the first "buy a drink" purchase. It looks like they don't care if you buy someone a drink and then they leave after harassing you for a few minutes. They also don't do the couch lap dance much any more. And I've heard some complaints about work policies. For the rest of the regular experience, check the previous review. Below is an update which is probably only valid for the next few months. Avoid Roxy unless you want to just go straight to the private dance with her. Most dancers are not as horrible as she was with conversation. Diamond was much better company. Victoria was the best private dance I've gotten in a while. Overall, this place has gone down in quality recently. When one hears "Exotic Kitty--located on State Street" certain adjectives may come to mind. The location, the name, and all of it are all a little funny by nature. But let me be clear, that we were treated very well here. The girls are actually surprisingly gorgeous, and can hold a good conversation. It was clear that some of them relied on their looks more than their moves. But there was a handful of girls who really put on a hell of a show. I got a private dance, which was a splendid way to ring in 25. Although be careful the girls will (respectfully) try to swindle you. Can't knock the hustle ladies. Before going in here are some tips: Bring money, and get yourself some ones. If you don't want to be a victim to ATM fees, then do so beforehand. Phones can only be used away from the stage. The bar area is fine, but the stage is a no-no. At one point I tried to send a text, and security asked me to take it to the bar. They were really cool about it too, despite it being my fault. Don't be weird to the girls, and don't touch them. They're not your girlfriend even if your fantasies tell you so. No alcohol at the moment, but they're working to get it fixed. $7.00 cover fee, but expect to pay. And if you're sitting "ring side" throw decent amount of money, or hit the couches on the wall. The staff was so friendly and the girls were so very attractive to a point that it was difficult to hold a conversation with one of them and not get distracted by another amazing girl! Worse "strip club" I have ever been in! Door guys were nice. It was a weird feeling walking in as there are a bunch of dudes sitting at couches watching the stage and the dudes at the stage weren't tipping and it was really bright in there. I said let's do 2. She said you have to pay at the bar. I walked up and said I want 2 songs another really rude lady says you need to do a half hour. I said how much, she said 300. I said no I will take my 2 songs, she said do 20 minutes for 200, she is beautiful and worth it, I said no give me my 2 songs I asked for and try to hand her 70 bucks and she wouldn't take it. There are three kinds of strip clubs in Utah: 1. The kind with nude girls. 2. The kind where you can drink alcohol. 3. The kind with lap dances. Exotic Kitty has lap dances. This is their bread and butter and where they spend a lot of their efforts. There is a bit of a hustle in this club that may turn off more casual patrons. I do enjoy coming here but I don't feel comfortable staying and relaxing a while. Most likely you will be approached quickly by girls looking to take you to a back room for a dance- currently, a 3 song for $100 plan is the most pushed though you can get a half-hour for $350. To me, these prices are too high for what you get- you can get better prices elsewhere and if it weren't for specific girls, I wouldn't come here at all. American Bush has more affordable dances and private shows, though the decor and atmosphere aren't as good as Exotic Kitty. The cover charge seems to fluctuate with how busy it is. I've paid anywhere between $5 to $20. On stage, the girls dance in underwear, usually thongs, and then strip down to pasties. No nudity. In private dances, the girls wear what they are wearing when they approach you, which can be a thong and bra, to a more covering outfit. They won't get any more undressed. The girls are amazing. I've had the best experience interacting with dancers at this club on a social level, but you will be expected to buy them drinks every few minutes and perhaps a dance. This is a place I return to in order to see specific girls whom I am a fan of. It's a clean place and the VIP rooms are gorgeous. I haven't had a bad interaction with staff or dancers, my main problem is it's not as comfortable if you don't get private dances and the private dances are too expensive. read more

Here's an honest true review from someone who is there multiple times a week. If you're seeing negative reviews here they are from angry dancers that no longer work there for not following state laws. Hopefully the information in this will answer any questions you have about the workings of this club as well. I've worked here since opening day over 3 years ago and it is legitimately the best club in Salt Lake City. I've also worked at all of the other clubs (with the exception of American Bush because of their reputation) This club DOES have the prettiest girls because all of the auditions are screened before they even take the stage. Which means if you want to work here you have to send in photos (NEVER nudes, they have you send photos in a bikini or 2 piece outfit) to be considered. They are the strictest on following state law so you must have a valid form of ID on you to come in no matter what age you are. The nightly cover is $7 but there are promos on their Facebook and Instagram for free entry Mon- Thurs and there is no cover before 6:30 Thurs- Sat. No reentry fee after you've paid once, just ask for a stamp. There is no alcohol inside the club. It is 18+ so it is not legal to serve. It's a juice bar so there is a huge selection of nonalcoholic beverages and energy drinks. Most people just get a stamp and go back and forth from there to a nearby bar, or they drink before they come. You can also get plenty of ones at the bar for tips. The girls wear pasties and g-strings on stage just like the clubs that serve alcohol. Unlike an alcohol bar however, they can and do come outside of the railings and get up close to you. But if you want to get hands on, you'll have to get a room. The VIP rooms are mutual contact which means you can touch the girls, within reason. In simpler terms, no sex in the champagne room. The staff there never condone mistreatment of their girls at any time, but as long as you're respectful they are pretty chill. There are several signs indicating that we do not allow cell phone usage. That pertains to the stage and any video recording. You CAN use your phone if you are at the bar, ID stand, or your phone is under the stage metal railing. It's a club policy because they want to protect the dancers privacy. This place has a pretty chill atmosphere and I've rarely seen anyone actually asked to leave, nor are there physical altercations thankfully. The girls will rotate around and sit with all of the customers to try and get dances, if you're interested in one particular girl that hasn't gotten to you yet, you can always ask the dancer you're with or the bartender or manager and they'll get you all set up. So, full disclosure, this was my first time at a strip club. That being said, I was nervous going in because I didn't know what to expect, and left feeling great having had a fun time! The women here are very attractive, fun and engaging. They wear pasties but, each girl had a fun design that added to their character and outfit. It's a sexy, fun environment. The dancers all have their own look, the outfits are hot, and they get very close and personal with their stage dances. It was so fun! After I sat down at the stage, Deja (SP?) came to talk to me. I told her it was my first time and I had questions, and she was so cool and let me know what to do and not to do. I decided to get a dance from her and it was HOT. And she was so sweet. This is by far the worst gentleman's club I have ever been to, if you decide to go you will regret it, I promise. The second you set foot through the door you will be hassled and hounded and hustled and harassed by everyone in the club, from the dancers to the cocktail waitress, even the cashier who gives you ones! They will immediately come up to you and demand you buy them drinks and lap dances and tip them even when they're not doing any dancing or anything else! The dancers will hound you relentlessly for money and dances and will not leave you alone for one second of peace, even when you are already tipping the dancers on the stage and getting dances. The girls will call you cheap or scared if you say you don't want a dance from them at every moment, even if you have already bought dances and tipped dancers on stage, the cashier was even saying rude hostile comments, I have no idea why anyone would ever consider going to this place, it's terrible, there's a saying in business, you can have a customer one time and try to squeeze every red penny out of them and push them and hustle them and then know you will never see them again, or you can treat them with respect and honesty and have a repeat customer who will come to you with any need they have for the rest of their lives.
