It was dirty, loud, the master bed was broke, the building itself was old and disgusting. There is an entire list of issues but the unprofessional office staff could careless. I emailed them the day we left early and they didn't even email me back but lied and said they did. They don't email you back or call you back. We were promised a phone call back from the owner and that didn't happen either. The office staff is disrespectful. Take it from me, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! The don't care about you! They only care about money!!

We were not happy with Tropical Sands Accommodations. We arrived the floor of our place was so…read more"bleached" that it was difficult to breath and we had to open all of the windows and turn on the fan for 24 hours. My husbands black socks on the bottom turned white from the bleach on the floor. The fan in the bathroom does not work and there is mold on one of the chairs on the front porch. There were a few dead bugs in some of the bowls in the kitchen and one of the shelves in the refrigerator was broken and held together with duck tape which finally gave out. We could not find a parking space today. We called management in the beginning of our vacation and they did not respond. On the positive the pool is clean and wonderful and easy access to the beach is great.

No. I have made plenty of visits here and several other warm climate destinations and "barrier islands" and I have never had to deal with cockroaches like this. The floor was dirty upon entry - food and crumbs beneath the couch. The temperature would not regulate - air kicked on and off randomly despite trying to adjust the thermostat. We went from boiling hot to freezing cold each and every night. Large cracks and gaps at the base of doors. We could not even use the outdoor screened porch because cockroaches and lizards making their way in through the large gap. No thanks. Beware and spend your money elsewhere.

we arrived in siesta key and waited until 4pm for check in. when we arrived the code to the door…read morewould not work. we then did an inspection of the home prior to setting up our stuff. we found broken tiles and broken front steps as well as a broken door latch. we brought these items to beach side management attention and they threatened to withhold our security deposit saying we had broken them in the first ten minutes we were there. we eventually made enough complaints to get a "manager" out who took pictures and tried her best to help. Highlights. -Dirty pool complained and they showed up 5 days later -broken patio with construction materials -mattresses were horrendous -outdoor tv was missing -propane missing form the grill -very dirty outside (lack of maintenance) -kitchen cabinet drawer fell on the floor and almost hit my son's feet -management company was lackluster at best

Neither real estate agents nor brokers did their due diligence to make sure everything was correct at signing. I had to get this problem fixed before I lost part of my land. I went to them to ask for an error and emission claim ( which they pay for the insurance for situations like this) and they just wanted to blame the other side and not remedy this with their client. Oh ya they offered me $500 for the trouble I had to go through and as a thank you for being a customer (I just have to sign a legal release first). Will never do business with this company ever and neither should you.

My complaint is with one of their agents. I only hope that the next time Pat Wall falls in love with something, she won't have to deal with an insensitive, greedy, down right nasty person who makes a stressful situation so much worse than it needs to be and almost sucks the joy right out of attaining that thing she's set her heart on. I don't wish that on anyone... even her. I do realize she's in the business to make money and I'm sure she's simply peachy with cash buyers, but don't be fooled by her "sweet to your face" act; she's a piece of work.

My husband and I have just returned from a glorious three day mini-vacation at The Blue Cottage…read more Nestled in a quiet pocket of Siesta Key Village, it's hard to believe that The Blue Cottage is only a short five minute walk to the beach and to the bustling main strip of the village, chock full of shops, bars and restaurants. The Cottage itself has been totally renovated and is jammed full of amenities like two flat screen tv's, a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, an expansive living room, wifi, and an extremely comfortable king size bed. There's an intimate open air porch off of the bedroom with comfy wicker furniture. It is so nice that we had to motivate ourselves to get up to go to the beach. Molly and Bill, the owners, have anticipated all of their guests' needs and you couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Do yourself a favor --- stay at The Blue Cotttage. You won't be sorry.
