The owner (Chris) either supervises or does all of the work and is very reliable. Would recommend for palm and tree trimming service as well as palm spray and general maintenance of all landscaping trees and bushes. read more

The project was: remove a lightning-damaged tree and surrounding foliage; recommend a replacement tree and new shrubs; select, deliver and plant the replacement tree; plant shrubs purchased by me; all in a 2-3 day time period. Tree and shrub removal was completed on first day, along with replacement of grass-invaded soil in the shrub bed. The owner (Chris) has many years experience and was able to suggest an ideal replacement tree. He delivered tree to my house and planted tree on day 2 along with 20 shrubs I had separately purchased. The project was completed on-schedule. After a very professional installation, the new tree and shrubs greatly improve the entrance to my home. I have been a Certified Arborist since 1997 and a Certified Tree Worker a year later. I have been to the "Shade Tree Conference" for the first time in 1977 with my uncle John and they are now called ISA or the" International Society of Arboriculture

Meet the Business Owner: Chris S.

Chris Sartain is a 3rd generation Arborist, with 35 years of experience in the field, I have worked no where else! I have only ever worked in the "Tree Care Industry" Full time since 1976 until today. My father and another brother went into Line Clearing (clearing power lines) so my father could stay in town with his new family. My father moved to Los Angeles and started his own company in 1963. Chris then became his foreman at the age of 17 in 1976. We worked together for 14 years, until moving his family to Phoenix Arizona in 1991. I then started my own company, Expedient Tree Care. I love Tree Work, Saving Trees is what I enjoy most besides Family and Church. The Majority of my customer base are 12-14 & 18 yrs as my clients. You must find an "Certified Arborist" and if you do Hang on to him/her! We are latterly Tree Doctors! Once you become a client of mine I contact You! Sick trees need someone ready & able to Care for your Trees! All trees need "Proper Pruning"

This is an unprofessional and dishonest business because:…read more - Sprayed weed killer when I specifically asked him not to - Did not complete the job with weed roots and debris still in my yard and when asked about it, he said that the chemicals would clear it in a couple of days and to call him if they were still there in 2 days - 2 days later when I texted him with pictures and he didn't respond - I'm glad I only paid him $125 of his $175 fee - Did not come on the first agreed upon date and had to reschedule Contacted Jorge on 2/24 to clear out weeds in my backyard that had overgrown and we agreed to Tuesday 3/3 afternoon for him to come. On 3/3, I reached out to him and he said he forgot to schedule me and had to reschedule me for 3/5. He quoted me $175 for: Weed removal Spray weed killer Blow out the debris Haul away everything I thought it was a lot but agreed to the price and told him that I didn't want chemicals sprayed. After he said he was done, I inspected and found weed roots still in the ground and debris everywhere. I asked him about it and he said the chemicals (that he wasn't supposed to spray) would kill everything and remove the debris. I was skeptical that the chemicals would magically clear away all the debris. He said to call him in 2 days if it didn't. I still had my doubts and asked for a $50 holdback in case the debris didn't go away. He countered with $25 and I knew then that if I called him, he simply wouldn't return my call. I stuck to the $50 and he agreed. 2 days later, the debris had not magically disappeared and I texted him with pictures to come back and finish the job, but he didn't respond as expected. Now, I have to clear the remaining weed roots and debris myself.

They did an extensive front area remodel --4100 square feet of pavers for a circular drive, re-designed the front hill by removing 20 tons of dirt and old plants, added a river bed, replaced all the granite, installed new lighting and watering system, added new plants, built stone accent walls and the list goes on. Once you give Sean a deposit and you agree on the work, he gives you a firm start and end date. Taking into account weather delays, the schedule is right on target. Our project encountered one entire week of rain but the crew worked through it (6 days a week, 7-5) and finished the project within only a few extra days from the original end date. The crew was timely, professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. If we ever had questions or needed to reach Sean, we received a return call, text or email within minutes. Having lived in Arizona for almost 50 years and dealing with many contractors, we can honestly say that Sean and Envirogreen Landscaping are the only contractors that we do not have one complaint to express. I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). Envirogreen does good quality work, and we are very happy with the results! When we are ready to have work done on our front yard, we will be calling Envirogreen again!
