The staff are incredibly dedicated and passionate about what they do. Treehouse offers many services to help foster kids have a more stable and normal life. From tutoring and college preparation, to school supplies and clothing, to after school care and summer activities, Treehouse improves the lives of thousands of foster kids and helps meets economic needs that foster parents sometimes cannot. Like most nonprofits, Treehouse can always use help. My (former) workplace ran a clothing drive and then a group of about 10 of us sorted and tagged clothes for the Wearhouse. It was a fulfilling and heartwarming day of service. I would not hesitate to recommend the services this organization provides or suggest it as a nonprofit worthy of your support. I wish I had read the reviews here before signing my kid up for camp…read more In Feb 2023, I signed my 8 yr old up for 2 weeks of summer camp in July 2023. I signed him up to a morning camp & afternoon camp (2 camps held during the same week to ensure he was in an all-day camp). 7 days before the camp, I got an email confirming his upcoming camp & instructions on where to park, what to bring, etc. 4 days before the camp start date, they emailed me saying that both camps were cancelled due to not insufficient enrolled campers. I just cannot believe how little notice they gave me. They did offer alternatives like signing up for another week or taking my kid to the Redmond location (which was not feasible for our family ). In the first couple of emails they sent me, they did not offer me the opportunity to get a refund. I had to ask. I also asked that they call me - I thought it would be easier to communicate rather than exchange emails, but they were reluctant to do so. There is no phone number listed on their website. On the refund email, there is a phone number listed but when I called, I found out the number was not in service. When the manager finally called me, he was nice and understanding, but ultimately there was nothing he could do. Luckily I asked about the following week's camp and he informed me that the following week is also cancelled. I'm glad I asked, otherwise I don't know when they would have informed me (why they didn't inform me of all the cancelations all at once is beyond me). My kid was so excited for this camp! It's so disappointing. And now, it's way too late to find any other summer camp in Seattle for next week. I am stuck trying to find other childcare options. I can't speak about the quality of the camp, but Coding With Kids is definitely not being run professionally based on my experience.

My daughter has been attending since last year during COVID. The staff took precautions to make the…read moreschool a safe environment. I decided to have my daughter attend because she has traveled to most places in the US and to my home land the last couple of years. I wanted COVID to be a positive experience and not coup her up in the house. Since attending DLEC my daughter has learned her basic education her cousins are learning in Kindergarten. My daughter learned so much and worth the experience. I travel from Seatac and sometimes Auburn to drop off and pick her up but it's so worth it. She has even got accepted into her local school without testing to join kindergarten when she turns 4. I'm glad to have her start her education very young. Everyone thinks she's very smart and a fast learner, visually and physically. Also her social skills has improved so much. She's not shy around people and communicate with those when spoken too. Thanks to all the staff for making her beginning education experience so much fun and challenging during these tough time in our lives. I appreciate very single staff!

To provide some context, in December of 2022, our daughter's first grade teachers summoned us for a conference to discuss her progress with ELA and Mathematics. At this point in time, they were very concerned that she was not performing at grade level and even attempted to hand us a packet for special education to consider it for our daughter. We decided to push back, asked for six months to work with her and tutors before proceeding down that path. We first attempted Varsity tutors, but it just did not meet our needs. Then we found Ms. Payton and Mrs. Anu, and something magical happened. Within a few sessions, her teachers started making comments about her wonderful progress. By March 2023 (the date we set for a follow-up on her progress), her teachers could not stop raving about her progress. Fast forward to her final conference in June, and she surpassed all of their expectations and is now on track to be ready for second grade. What has stuck out the most is their repeated comments of how much confidence she has now. Because they have provided her with the tools to work through ELA and Mathematics, our daughter actually enjoys it now (before she would cry at the mention of either). She even walks around with a notebook practicing equations all on her own! If you are considering tutoring for your child, do not look any further!

When I was able to start my studies again I was faced with expired but you can renew it by paying nearly the same amount to extend for 90 days! I sent a message requesting they consider reducing that if possible. I was barely into month seven at the time. After a few days of no response I sent another message expressing my disappointment that I had not received a response good or bad. After waiting a few more days it was time - I have since purchased the class I needed for less money through another provider. My clientele have always received same day responses! I have no patience for a company that offers "No customer service!

Always incredibly friendly and professional, the animals are so well taken care of and friendly. A huge hit with kids and adults. The staff is so easy to work with, setup is easy, they do everything, we just sent photos beforehand and discussed where the setup would be. They constantly have someone cleaning up any poop from the animals, it's just a Betty lovely experience and the most popular thing at our parties.
