Awesome service and great atmosphere. Went early in the morning and they saw me as soon as I got there. Made me feel like I was at home.

I asked for a medium fade and just a tiny little bit off. Top even showed with my fingers just a little bit sir please. And I got a high and tight. It looks awful. From the guy when you walk in directly to your right by the counter. Absolutely terrible. I could've paid eight bucks for this haircut somewhere else. read more

Horribly unprofessional place for people to get haircuts. The music, video games and TV movies/shows are always so loud you can barely talk to the person right next to you. One of the guys was obviously on something and drunk. They pay more attention to yelling their conversations at each other than the person in their chair. One of the guys really messed up my best friends beard when he specifically asked him not to cut it, the guy cutting his hair cut more than half of his beard off and really messed up his line. I would never recommend this place to anyone, men women and especially not children. They are too rough with kids. read more

Went in for a mens haircut. It was an unprofessional environment and barbers didn't listen to what style they were told. They talk to much to each other while working on your head. It was overpriced for the type of service I received in my opinion. read more

I went to Expert Cuts when they had a different owner, so I was nervous about the change over. I have totally liked everything in the change. I don't know the owner's name, but the guy has given me the best haircuts I ever got. They actually use scissors which I like. I can definitely vouch for the owner as being a great barber for sure. I usually just stick with him, but the others have seemed to give good haircuts to other people, but wasn't my hair, so idk for sure. I like the atmosphere (manly atmosphere imo). I moved to Odessa a year ago and I actually travel all the way from Odessa to Midland to get my haircut here. I pretty much have only had good experiences with Expert Cuts. read more

This is, by far, the ABSOLUTE WORST barber shop we have ever been to - anywhere. STAY AWAY and avoid a terrible experience. We stopped there because our child needed a trim and the sign read, "Expert Cuts Family Barbers." We walked in, signed in, and addressed each barber - a man and a woman. We realized right away from their blank stares that English was not their first language. The man managed a few words of English - enough to tell us that he was leaving but that the lady would cut his hair. She then shot him a dirty look. The lady barber had no name tag and appeared to have a long black wig. She was very unfriendly in her demeanor. We could tell she was very apprehensive about cutting the child's hair. She was finishing a man's haircut and we noticed that she spent a very long time just chatting with him and not really cutting because he had a high-and-tight already. Nevertheless, she fiddled around with him making no change that we could see. When he left, she looked at some bags on the counter and said (not to us), "hungry". She then took two bags to the back room and sure enough, she was ignoring the customers, eating her lunch. She took the last bottle of customer water out of the fridge up front. No one told us we would have to wait through her eating lunch. When she went in the back room to eat her lunch suddenly the music got really loud - way too loud and objectionable for such a small waiting area. After at least 30 minutes went by, she came back out, grabbed the list and started hollering, "David!" several times. It turns out that David was the customer already in the man's barber chair. He answered several times in English and Spanish, "I'm David!" She ignored that and kept hollering. Finally, she moved on to the next customer which we believed to be us. Nope. It was someone who had signed in, then went to sit in his car, then came back. Naturally, we thought he was after us. Then she put that person in the chair and started grabbing herself, like she was in pain. She ran to the backroom like she had Crohn's disease or something. When she didn't come back out, the man barber went to check on here, came back out front and said, "She's in the bathroom." Gross! If that wasn't gross enough, each barber's chair area had a ton of human hair on the floor which neither barber cleaned up between customers. As a matter of fact, the man barber took a hair dryer and blew the clumps of hair toward the customers. Unbelievable! Unsanitary and filthy. Apparently, her strategy of making us leave worked because after well over an hour of waiting and being treated so badly we left - and will never go back. Our time is valuable and for these people to have treated us this way is totally unacceptable. She should have told us right away if she was uncomfortable cutting a child's hair. Our grandson was not loud, unruly, or misbehaved in the slightest. Again - THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST BARBER SHOP EVER - DO NOT EVEN GIVE IT A TRY. read more

Barber Shop really does mean Men'should cuts. The owner always does a wonderful job on my son's hair, but there is a lady working there, her name starts with an 'A', first chair to the immediate right of the door, who did not do a good job on my hair. I didn't notice my hair was very messed up till a week later as I always wear my hair in a pony tail for work, and upon noticing, I went back in and she wasn't there. The owner wouldn't return my money, and couldn't fix my hair cause she only does men's cuts and she rents the chair to the lady. I went the next day to speak with the lady who cut my hair, and she wanted me to let her 'fix' it. I had already paid a stylist at ClubCuts to fix what she messed up. When I asked her if I could have a refund, she was very disrespectful and gave off a lot of attitude. I am writing this review because of the way the situation was handled by both the stylist and owner. A picture was even shown to the lady and she was no where even close to what was shown to her. I also had to have an additional 3 inches cut off of the first 7-8 inches in order for it to be even length and a style that made me happy. Even though the chair is rented, the owner needs to hold a certain accountability for the chairs they rent out. I am VERY disappointed in the whole situation and hope this review gives some of you caution on going here for anything other than a men's cut. read more
