I'm just in town for work, and I needed a much needed cut. I came to Ballroom based on the reviews, and I'm glad I did. There was a bit of a wait, but the atmosphere was welcoming. The waiting area had comfortable chairs, a huge television, and plenty to read. Myke did an amazing job, by far the best fade I've ever gotten. Very easy to talk to. I wasn't too specific on what I wanted but still ended with a cut I couldn't have described better myself. Even did up the beard. Worth the time, and money. I absolutely recommend coming here. I was in town on business and desperately needed a haircut. I stumbled across The Ballroom while looking for another Barber Shop that I found on yelp. I arrived at 3:30pm, but the sign said that they closed at 3pm. There were cars in the parking lot so I decided to take a chance and went in. Although they were closed, Myke (my new favorite barber) decided to take me. I only had to wait for 20 minutes and I was in the chair getting an AWESOME cut. He really knows his stuff. He even explained to me why he was lining me up the way he did, which was to try and correct the butchered cut that I got in Orlando a while back. The shop is very clean and very nicely decorated. Cannot day enough positive about this shop. My teenage son is VERY picky about his hair. He didn't want to try anyone new,he wanted to stay with his usual barber. His usual barber is fine, but his hours are not very convenient to our schedule. I convinced him to try someone new, he was very hesitant. From the moment we arrived at Ballroom Barber they were friendly and amazing. I shared our "situation" with the very pleasant staff. They were awesome and made sure he was pleased with his cut. When we left, my son asked if we could start going to Ballroom Barber now, instead of the previous barber. I would definitely recommend this shop. Decided to give The Ballroom Barber shop a visit after seeing the great reviews here on yelp, and I received a better experience than I ever expected. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. The employees were very courteous! I am very very picky about the way my hair is cut and don't trust many people. After using the same lady to cut my hair for years, she simply wasn't able to keep up with my evolving haircuts. After coming here I now know what a true haircut is, Myke listened to all my concerns & wants and made sure my cut was perfect. His years of experience are definitely evident in his work. Myke is a great guy, he cares more about people and giving quality work than he does about making a profit. One of the best spots in Midland to get a fade and beard trim. A true barbershop. The hours are great for someone working in the oil field and the pipeline industries that work long hours and can't get a cut on a normal basis, and when you get off work everyone is closed.
