Update on previous review: We used one of the Expert Locksmith technicians after hours in August/September 2021 to re-keyed our lock (using our same lock mechanism). A few weeks later I went to the physical locksmith store and a lady helped in making some additional keys for our lock. Today (Feb. 19, 2024), I went into the physical location and asked for additional keys to be made (I believe it was the same lady that helped me in the locksmith location a few years back, but I can't say for certain). The lady was very rude to me today and after I explained their technician came to our condo to rekey our lock, and then started arguing and said no this key was made by one of our competitors, not us. And she refused to help me. I was telling her that how could that be possible, it was their technician that came to our condo to assist and she refused to further assist. I have always used this business because they are our local locksmith in our area and we do all of our business with local businesses in our neighborhood. But after this experience today and how rude their employee was (I think it was the owner), I will take my business elsewhere and I don't recommend this business to anyone. read more

In a nutshell: Management is different, the place is vastly improved. I originally visited this location due to its proximity to where I live. This is a family business where the owner has been in and out. Recently, the owner has dedicated more time to the location and has greatly reorganized the shop. Augustin is very friendly, although he acts mostly as the management / QA arm of the business. It appears that a large amount of technicians are pinged by the location for business. Service is great, and Augustin is extremely personable. My wife and I are greatly appreciative of his help!! read more

These guys are a butch of crooks my 82 year old mother needed to replace front door locks and couldn't wait for me to do it I was out of town. I don't know how she got their number but they over charged her by 250.00 dollars They just swapped out two existing locks , two simple screws gave her inferior locks from HomeDepot style. The prices they charged where NYC prices as I had Glass business in Manhattan for 40 years.I would stay clear from this business crooks. Visited this business today at 5:21pm and the doors were locked. Called and the business said their hours are 9am-5pm. Their Yelp page has different hours, and on their doors it states they offer 24 hour service separate from the store hours. Will be back tomorrow to copy a key and will update review then. Save yourself from wasting $ and time. Quoted me one figure for a cylinder change, all of a sudden, it had to be replaced. Overpriced, terrible work. I had to call another company because I could not get the door open due to poor work on the installation of the new lock a month later! They did not want to hear anything about it as they were already paid. He did not speak English well as he was middle eastern and he had terrible body odor. Awful customer service. Pushy sales people and rude attitudes in general. I called the Broward County number this morning after having called therm a few months ago. I wanted to get a duplicate copy of my car key made having lost my second duplicate a few months back. When I first called a few months ago, I was quoted a price of $90 for a cut and program (I already had a blank). I decided to hold off on getting a duplicate at that time as I travel a lot and wasn't driving my car frequently enough to justify it. So I called again this morning and was quoted a price of $30 more. I explained the original quote I got to the gentleman on the phone and he said that his technician would look at what went into the programming went he arrived and a discount wouldn't be a problem. I was also told a technician should arrive within 30 minutes. In the next 30 minutes I received 4 additional phone calls from this company ranging from them asking what car model I had again (I provided all my information twice in the original call) to them telling me that if the programming didn't work, I would have to pay for the service regardless. Then, I mentioned the discount again and this new gentleman, who was very hard to understand, said that the price would be $120 regardless. I said this was more than the dealership itself. He proceeded to say that he wouldn't lower the price, argue with me that the dealership would charge more and wouldn't do a good job, and then asked if my problem was just that I wasn't willing to pay the price. I told him, "Yes, that price is too high. I will go to my dealership" and hung up. Then, 5 minutes later, after I had scheduled an appointment with my dealership, he calls back again! This time saying they will honor the $90 quote if I come to them which is further than my dealership by far. I don't trust anything these guys say. They seem to quote random prices, are unsure of what each service entails so they tell you they will call you right back and then have Mr. Charming above call back who then apparently looses all sales. If he doesn't, I"m very surprised. You don't treat customers that way and you don't bash your competition (especially when it's the dealership itself) like that. It just makes you look like a sleazy used car salesman except that you're sleazy locksmith employees. ***UPDATE*** I just checked out their website and at the bottom found the following quote: " we do it all no one can beat our price" *Ahem* Like I said, liars. As a professional office we attempted to use this company to execute a break order in Aventura. They failed to show up, resulting in additional attorneys fees and nearly 6 months of delay for our client. Will never attempt to use them again. Most people get locked OUT, my tenant got locked IN. After turning key from the inside, door would not open The neighbors removed the door to get the family out and he called a locksmith. They showed up after 2 hours, (not a problem) but then the expert professional proceeded to put the lock UPSIDE down. WOW. The lock and deadbolt do not have matching keys. I called for service to open a bathroom door for which I didn't have a key and was told the price would be $29 plus whatever time it would take. A young man who was as rude as he could possibly be told me right away the price would be $85. I said why, this is just a little lock and he very rudely told me he didn't need the job. I needed the door opened and told him ok. It took him one half second to INSTANTLY open the lock and took my $85 cash. When I asked for an invoice, he handed me a blank receipt, reading: $85. No name, phone #, nothing. I've been in this house since 1957. We do not need these thieves to infiltrate our town from wherever! read more

BEWARE! Total scam artists. Charged $360 for 3 Schlage locks. Added a $45 service charge. Then said the mechanism was broken and replaced it for $135 more. Total charge to change 3 basic locks $614.80. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Poor customer service! read more
