I went by ABC Locksmith to have a duplicate key made over the weekend (open til 3 pm on Saturdays). The employees were all very nice and friendly and experts at what they do. I have a special lock on my condo door so it was a lot more than normal for a key creation but it is what it is. The employees all educated me about the lock and lock maintenance and was greatly appreciated. If you need a locksmith in the North Miami/Aventura, definitely give ABC Locksmith a try! read more

My interactipn with ABC Locksmith has been a very pleasant one. I purchased a sophisticated door lock at Best Buy and at my building manager's direction, had ABC install it. The installer was not familiar with Apple phones as he had an Android. Therefore, he was limited in knowing how to program the lock with my phone. The next day, I called ABC and Stefan, the owner, immediately came out and walked me thru the setup. It's nice to know that ABC stands behind their work. read more

DISHONEST..... I have waited one year to write a public review in order to be sure that it is correct. I took my safe to this business to have them open it. I just moved down to FL so I wasn't even sure that there was something in there. It took their employee to hammer and drill the safe and then once it was opened he said there was nothing there. To my naïveté, I didn't ask to see it because I had read many positive reviews and trusted them. For over 12 months I have been looking for my jewelry ( Many heirlooms) and could not find it. I am now absolutely sure that it was in the safe. I went to Aventura Police and North Miami Beach police to write a report but finally but they send me to Miami Dade Police where I wrote a report. However every station said that this was an honest business and didn't bother investigating because I couldn't guarantee that I had seen him take the jewels. I then went to the store 6 months later and they laughed at me for waiting so long. They denied the accusation. They said that they always turn the safe around to show that it is empty. THEY DID NOT DO THAT. I also wrote an email to the owner saying that I would not press charges and that I just want my jewelry back . He denied any wrongdoing. I am distraught having lost my family's heirlooms. Yes I was stupid, trusting and not checking. Everyone there is complicit. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I was quoted $75 service call and parts. I left work early in order to be home and not be charged for the after hours fee. Locksmith showed up 25 min late. I was them charged $133 dollars for the locksmith to actually tighten a screw!! No parts were needed. I will NEVER uses this company again or recommend them. read more

This place comes-up on my searches for locksmiths. After today they are off the list. I was lost looking for a bakery and turned around and parked on the street in front of the business. There was no sign or anything. As I'm getting out of my car, I'm on the phone trying to find the place I was looking for, and I hear someone yelling like crazy. So I looked to where I thoughts it was coming from. A tall white male is yelling at me about parking in front of his business, although there is no sign. As I approached because I couldn't hear because of all the noise on the street and being on the phone he continued to yell. When I asked him to stop he said he had to yell because I was on the phone and if I had a brain I would know that. When I tried to respond he said blah, blah, blah and walked away. Buyer beware. This is the kind of people you will be dealing with. Turns out the place I was looking for was right next door to this business. read more

After spending over $2000 I requested them to come back and install door closures. Technician comes out installs the door closures and completely damages both of my doors causing me to have to repaint and close up holes that he made I contacted the office three times via phone and email no one responded I was told someone would call me back and no one call me back no apologies no sorry I will stop with the damage doors and I had to fix it myself. The also didn't tell me the price of the job until they were done and I had no choice but to pay. Do not recommend!! read more

Most unprofessional business I've witnessed in many years. Technician was rude stating the building Association was cheap and should just buy all new locks and keys for all the owners. Kept whispering comments under his breath right in front of us. In reality, he just didn't know how to complete the job. A commercial steel door lock and bar opener isn't that difficult. The owner was called to ask for someone else to complete the job correctly, he came out himself. Now, that's where it became bizarre. The owner proceeded to use the "F" word and scream and yell. He was upset and repeatedly yelled his "daughter was getting married next week and he didn't have time for this sh*t". He then took the new lock out of the door, dismantled the bar mechanism and threw it on the floor. He left and said to call him when we were ready to get a new one. Not a chance.... We called another company and they came out immediately and resolved the issue. They were aware of ABC's reputation. Stay away from this company unless you're ready for attitude and poor workmanship. read more
