I pass the store all the timer when shopping at my local Kroger. The location is least to get to and there has always been parking. Celina is the only person I have interacted with. I initially needed a tailor for my son's suit for prom. We had a couple of weeks before the day and I stoped in. The problem with needing a tailor is there really is no room for errors. I mean unless it's not for an "event". My son was measured and Celina asked us what we wanted done and she gave suggestions. The charge to alter his pants and sleeves was average. We were told that the items would be ready on a certain day. I received a call the day before from Celina advising that she would like a little additional time. Communication is really the key and I appreciated her reaching out. The suit came out beautifully and my son had a great time at prom. Fast forward to graduation. I bought a dress online and when it arrived I needed 2 inches to get the zipper up. I stopped in a week before graduation and there was Celina! She looked at the dress and advised that she could find excess material, open the dress up, and have it back to me on time. When I picked my dress up and tried it on she had done "excellent" work! Do not go here. I had shoes altered and they used a different color material and when I asked them why all they could tell me Was that they didn't have it in supply. I asked why they didn't call me if they didn't have the marching color and they said they don't do that. I paid $198.00 and now have to find someone else to fix their work. Excellence customer service great and beautiful work, that why I come here

I had my first trip to this establishment to have my boots polished. I was quoted $ 15 for six pairs of boots, $10 for 2 pairs of booties and she said I'll just charge $5 for the pair of shoes. I didn't realize until later that I was overcharged around $100. I didn't really pay attention to the written receipt. I was busy counting boots. When I called to bring the error to their attention she quickly informed me that she quoted me $30 each and I agreed. I was shocked and very disappointed in our conversation. I decided to return this evening to ask for my ticket. She produced a ticket for $25 x 6 boots and charged $20 for the booties and shoes. She said they were very dirty So they had to be cleaned and then polished. These are all ladies shoes that I wear in a professional business environment and I polish them each day I wear them on my own. I was just really wanting a professional polish thinking they wouldn't scuff you so quickly. I informed the clerk that the last time I had boots polished it was only $10 each but her shop conveniently located, so I was okay with the $15 per boot charge. No customer service here at all. It's their way or the highway. Thankfully I chose the highway.

Horrible experience so unprofessional! I went in on July 25th to get bridesmaid dress alterated. I inform the owner it was a must to have done by Thursday at the latest, July 28th with my phone number printed on the receipt. The owner did not communicate with me at all. I went to pickup dress and it was closed with no warning. Frantic I began to call owner only one number listed and no answer. I returned bright early Friday and now there is a note in the inside of window which was not there the day before. It stated the owner is out with Covid and sorry for inconvenience and will reach out once back in office . As we all know catching Covid is very unfortunate to say the least but the lack of communication is what is so horrible. Not once did the owner try reach out even upon returning. I has prepaid for service and was out of dress. I had to purchase another dress and pay for alterations elsewhere. The owner offer to only refund the amount she charge although she caused a major inconvenience which if communicated the outcome could possibly have bee far better experience. She lack any empathy and all around unprofessional. When ask why I wasn't notify back in office she replied, I knew you would come bac. Wow ! Never took any accountability read more

While the alterations done in this shop are generally fine, my complaint is about the shop owners hours. Should you decide to do business with them, always make sure you call ahead to see if they are open. They are frequently closed during posted "open" hours. And on more than one occasion I've shown up even after checking to see if they are open only to find them closed once I arrived. This is monumentally frustrating and very unprofessional. read more

Everything owner quotes you, you can get done with better customer service and at a lower price with better quality. This place has no idea how to do boots! Took my boots in to be resoled and have Vibram rubber soles put on instead of leather. They replaced my western heel with a roper heel and put on a thick foam sole. They even had the gall to tell me that that was what I ordered. AVOID!!!! We need to shut this place down!!! read more

I get all of my alterations and shoe repairs done here for three reasons. 1) I love supporting local family businesses as much as possible. 2) The work is done well! I've never had to come back to get anything re-fit, or walked away unhappy. 3) They work FAST. I most recently had one dress taken in, another dress custom fitted, and a pair of pumps re-heeled, all done in three days! I suspect this is due to their small customer base, so take advantage while you can. :) read more

Terrible customer service! Do not go here! Came to have work shoes stretched and at first she over charged me. Then when i came at 9am to get them for work, she didn't show up to open until 915. Next day i went back because they were not stretched and she insulted my feet instead of restretching them. I left. Awful! read more
