My son has already graduated from this elementary school, and my daughter will be graduating this year. Over all these years, we have been consistently happy and grateful for everything this school has given our family. It's never easy to trust others with the care, safety, and education of your children, but from the very beginning, this school made us feel confident and at peace. The teachers, staff, and entire team are incredibly kind, supportive, and dedicated. They genuinely care about the children, not just academically, but emotionally as well. We've watched our kids grow, learn, and thrive in a loving and respectful environment. The relationships built here will always mean a lot to us. We are so thankful for the years, the memories, and the amazing people who made this school such a special place for our family. If you have a kid who did well on the SAT, but is trying to do even better, Zenith is a wonderful partner. Our child has taken weekly sessions online for a few months with Grayson and done a significant amount of work in preparation for each session. The online system they have is easy to use and helps the student understand the reason for the answers in case they get something wrong. The level of detail in the analysis is amazing. Grayson is an excellent teacher. He has been kind and extremely well-informed when working with our child and has made the work in-between sessions worthwhile because the scores keep going up. Long story: Little Star Preschool Too was my top choice from the beginning when I was touring preschools. I was delighted to see the campus (plenty of parking spots, quiet neighborhood, residential location and close to restaurants for afterschool pick up)! The preschool is large and has a huge yard for the children to play in during "recess" and at the end of the day. I think the actual amount of land they have for a school is impressive as the children are able to get their wiggles out without having to travel to a local park. While I was dazzled by the tour of the campus, I was absolutely amazed by the teachers and staff! They are all genuinely loving and greatly care about the well-being of the children! I am always greeted with a smile by each of the staff members during drop off. My child has so much fun playing with her peers and the large variety of toys, doing daily arts and crafts, eating their provided lunch and learning new subjects! She took a little bit of time to warm up to being in school and her teacher was so patient with her, spending extra time with her to help her transition. Other teachers and staff would step in to help out too if her teacher was not immediately available for help. Not only does the school teach "regular subjects" like letter recognition and counting, they also teach real life skills like what streetlights and stop signs are used for! (The school had a cute field trip around the neighborhood teaching the children about road safety). There are also a lot of extra features added to the curriculum to help enrich the children's education. There were dance performances, field trips, readings from books regarding different cultural festivals and traditions. The school is just so awesome and I am very happy with my choice. Thumbs up!

I appreciated that Little Star Preschool encouraged multiple playdate visits before he officially started, so that he could get used to the space and staff. All of the teachers were kind, patient, and gentle with him as he transitioned from a small daycare to preschool. They allowed him time to adjust and let him just observe at first, as he preferred, while holding onto his stuffy. His language skills have really exploded (I love hearing him repeat, "Wake up, little bodies!") and I know he's cared for while learning and playing.

The messages these two bar tutors sent me was I was not worth their time in helping because they saw no chance of passing the bar in me. In addition, I had only 1 more chance to go for various financial and life reasons. 1 more and that was the end of it. Most importantly, I saw little hope and had questioned myself in my ability, decision in going to law school, choosing the law career, and the huge time and money investment all together. Even if I passed the written portion in the 1st bar attempt, the MBE portion in the second bar attempt, and was only 8 points away from passing the MBE in the 3rd attempt, my confidence was all gone after the 3rd attempt where the score was lower than the 1st and the 2nd. For the first time in my life, I started to really believe there is no point working hard if it was not meant to be. You have to know I am a death survivor, 4 times. I didn't even give up my hope for life when things were at odds against me in the ICU, but after three bar attempts in a two-year marathon of CA bar prep, together with other time-demanding tasks in life in the two years, I was defeated, psychologically and I was on the verge of giving up. If John didn't take me, there would most likely to be little change of things. He replied very fast on an early Saturday morning to my late Friday night message - most likely the moment he saw my cry-out. I now thank the other tutors who didn't take me in the first place. Otherwise, I would not have worked with John whose insights and method of approach in the CA bar exam, particularly in the essays and Performance test, are the single greatest and effective factor in making the turn of tide. I successfully passed the July 2022 California Bar Examination. My written portion of the 3rd attempt was a historical low: 1194.8736 away from 1390, down from the 1424.8922 of the 1st attempt, despite the fact I had rigorously written many past essays and self-evaluated each one with the 2 sample answers published. This was a big reason I felt hopeless in working hard. The harder I work, the more practice essay I do, the less score I receive?! If working hard is no solution, what else could I do? The answer is working hard matters only if I am working hard with the right tools and going towards the right direction. John's methods on the essays and on the performance test are digestible, practical, and effective - after I practiced 24 selected past essays and 6 PTs using his respective approaches. They are digestible because after being exposed to them, you feel they are familiar and related to what I have already learned in law school, but at the same time being different than the law school practice. This difference is the key why I need to practice past essays I chose from his library of past essays - only after repeated using the method in my analysis did I learned it by heart: so well that at actual exam when the first contact essay of shipment contract threw me off the guard, the basic trainings in approaching the contract essays with the template internalized made sure that I probably still scored a passing score in that essay, with an edge of others. He has a clear way of approaching Performance Test question as well. I found it very usable. He taught me a way to fish, rather than giving me fish. While any of his methods do not substitute the fundamental ability in legal writing, his method makes me a lot more clear what is worth time to write on and what is not. This makes all the difference when almost everybody who survived law school are smart and have legal writing skills. We have the foundations. All we need is a push to the right direction. Is John's bar tutoring service expensive? Yes. Do I regret paying for it? Definitely no. The difference in money is way way less in comparison with the life cost if I don't pass my last chance and give up everything altogether. What is very important is John is a warm person deep down with a good heart. We need a person like John at the darkest hour when hope is only a flame flicking in the cold wind. See the official passing letter from the office of admission? You will receive it too! Keep working hard, and make sure you have the right tools and are going in the right direction. The only way out is through and light is a lot closer than we may feel. Believe in yourself and keep walking in the right direction!
