Our institution is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 charitable organization recognized by the State of Alabama. Our "Society" is often referred to as "SAC's", a nickname derived from the acronym for "Society of Arts and Crafts". I pass Ed's on my way to work everyday, so I decided to stop in a few months ago when I had some…read moreframing needs, not knowing anywhere else in Montgomery. It turned out to be a great choice. Ed runs the shop solo and has been in business for 30 or so years, if I'm remembering correctly. He's very friendly and was expert in helping me pick out decent looking frames and mats for what I had, and advising on the sizing of the prints. I suspect you probably pay a little more than at a chain place, but I don't have much basis for comparison. A great old fashioned small business -- he even trusted me leave with the framed prints and come back the next day with a check. Definitely recommended.
