I've worked with other liftgate tile delivery services before but none compare to the communication, professionalism and troubleshooting that Vinny of Verona Trucking offers. My client's delivery was tricky from the start: *Narrow, one-way street with no room to turn a truck or back up to the gate. *The drive is around the corner from the house which is dozens of yards from the entry where we needed the tile. *There is a curb at the sidewalk preventing sliding the pallet as is the norm with driveway deliveries. *The sidewalk is narrow leaving nowhere to stage two pallets as the tile setters offload and move them inside the client's gated courtyard for temporary storage. *The risk of injury to my tile setters as they manually move 4000lbs of 24x48 tile box by box. Turns out I didn't need to worry about any of that. Vinny brought a pallet jack, turned the pallets and rolled them through the narrow entry gate, clearing a port-a-potty occupying most of the courtyard and set them out of the way. I wish I had been there to video the magic. If you're not familiar with how difficult it is to move two 2000lb pallets of breakable tile, trust me - what Vinny pulled off is nothing short of a miracle. Yet he made it seem as simple as a small package delivery. Verona Trucking will be handling all my tile deliveries from now on. And he should be handling yours too!
