Express Tree Trimming is one of the most unethical companies I've ever dealt with. One of their drivers hit the rear of my vehicle in their commercial truck. Express Tree Trimming has yet to take accountability and even fabricated what happened with their auto insurance provider. This is unacceptable behavior from a business and consumers need to be protected from their practices. I wouldn't trust them to do any work for me. read more

A work crew from this company was cutting down a tree in front of my neighbors house today. Very large, and a good portion of it hangs over my property. Not only did they climb up on my roof with 0 attempt to contact me or ask permission, (I've been sitting in my office all day) they also dropped a large branch on my roof which caused some damage. I have to assume that they didn't intend to drop that 20 foot-long branch on my roof, but the bare minimum courtesy I'd expect is that they'd let me know my front and back yard would be covered in branches, and to request permission to access both. Absolutely absurd. Property damage, trespassing, no fall protection, and only 1 guy had any kind of PPE. read more

I have used Express Tree trimming in the past, hence my reason for calling again. I also received a couple of other quotes. Express did a great job on the estimate, very professional, written estimate and provided a copy of their insurance. On the scheduled day, I called them after they had not shown up 90 min late. They responded via text they had equipment issues but I was their # 1 priority when they were up and running. Four hrs later I received a text stating they were up and diverting a truck, When I asked if they were coming to me, they never responded but no showed. I texted again that night and they did not respond nor did they show up the next day. I texted again (their phone just goes to VM) informing them that I needed some communication from them or I was going to find another service and I never herd back from them. They never apologized at any time for not contacting me about being late nor did they ever acknowledge any of calls\texts. Great work and pricing, terrible communication, hence my rating. read more

Called to get an estimate on removing a partially snapped tree limb in my backyard, and they came out the next day and quoted a fair price, but that it had to be cash. Said they could be out two days later to actually do the work, but that they couldn't give a timeframe, it would depend on how long the other jobs that day took- fair enough. Day of, we're sitting around waiting, finally give them a call around 3 just to see if they had an update on the time. The guy says he'll check the crew schedule and call us right back- never does. We call one more time right around 5- he answers, but hangs up on us mid-sentence. Ended up calling another company that charged $25 more than Express quoted, but they were timely, efficient, and communicative. I guess you can put a price on professionalism. read more

After the extreme storm in June 2024 with 70-90mph winds recorded Express Tree Trimming removed a very large damaged Hackberry, and grown Bradford Pear at the end of it's life partially downed. A very hard working crew from Express Tree Service removed both leaving not a single limb even raking the leaves onto tarps and removing them. They blew saw dust off all surrounding concrete. Standing water prevented access of the large grinder that had to come days later when soil would support its weight. Another good job on removing the stumps well below ground. Having past experience with another company I can tell you this company keeps their equipment sharp and well maintained. Defiantly quality work at a far price and would hire them again, (maybe in 15+ years or so when my replacement trees grow large enough they might need such work. read more

My husband and I had a very positive experience with this company. After the recent storms we had numerous mature trees: American elm, cottonwood, mulberry, and pecan which needed a lot of trimming work. One tree had to be totally removed. Their great customer service started with a rapid response to our phone call to get someone out for an estimate. Cesar came out and walked all around our yard with us explaining exactly what he thought needed to be done. He listened to our input and gave us a written contract on the spot. He also proffered proof of liability insurance for their company before we even had to ask for it. A crew of 4 men came out a few days later (There were lots of people in need of tree trimmers after our epic rainstorms, so we knew there would be a little wait). The crew worked HARD all day long and did a great job with the trimming and especially with the clean up. Everyone on the jobsite appeared to be very safety conscious and took care with the surrounding properties of our neighbors. They finished late on Friday afternoon, and had to return the next day with a trailer to carry off the big tree trunk cuttings from the downed tree. (They wouldn't fit into the chipper). They cleaned up thoroughly, and even raked up all the little bits. They actually left the yard looking better than before they came . We both were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of everyone at EXPRESS TREE TRIMMING from start to finish! read more

I hired Express Tree Trimming to cut down a tree that was dead in my backyard. They were supposed to come out the day after but didn't show up until the day after that. That wasn't the issue. They did a great job cutting down the tree and removing the debris, however, I told them a couple times to please leave the wood from the tree. They did not. I called them twice to let them know they took the wood and the man said he would call me back and never did. I would have left 5 stars had They left the wood or at least called me back to explain. read more

My husband hired Express Tree Trimming to take a few branches off of our 20 year Shumard Oak tree. He was notified in the morning that the crew would be out in the afternoon when he was home. In the morning I hear a chainsaw and there is a guy in my tree hacking away. Communication was very poor. A huge limb that was not to be removed was taken from the middle of the tree. After finally getting the team to stop I was able to get George, Junior and my husband here. We had to cut way more than anticipated to make the tree uniform. George did claim responsibility but it was way too late for apologies. Communication is very poor. We got a $100 discount which, we shouldn't have even gotten charged. Very shady and unreliable! We're selling our house, and one of our buyer's requests was that the tree be trimmed before closing. When I spoke to ETT, I made it clear that the tree had to be done by the closing date and they assured me it would be. I received a text the day of saying the job had been completed and to pay. We're not currently living in the house, so I asked for pictures to ensure it was done correctly. After asking for pictures, I was told that they actually had not completed the job correctly and needed to go back out to redo it. It was NYE weekend, so he said it would be 3 days before they could get back out there and only 3 days before we were closing on our house. That day came and I texted to make sure he was still going out there, and I was told that he was. By the end of the day, I had heard nothing, so I called, left voicemails, and texted but he ghosted me. I will never try using them again. read more

I used this team a couple of years ago and was quite satisfied. So I called them back this month to do a much larger project, trimming three very large live oaks, a very large magnolia, and a host of smaller trees. Their price was a bit less than I had been expecting, they were very prompt and started on time, and foremost, they were very accommodating of my numerous requests throughout the day. My landlord hired this service to cut all the trees off of the property. They came out on a Friday. I let them have access to the driveway to make it easier since it is a fenced-in front yard and backyard. They wound up damaging the fence so the dogs got out once I let them out. Then they left all of the cut down trees and a bunch of their trash in the yard and left for the weekend! Without saying a word! They came back the following Monday and started finishing the job. They were cutting a big tree in the back alley and knocked out my cable. I Rely heavily on my internet as my brother with Down syndrome and I are both disabled. My cell service does not work over here because of issues with the only two towers here needing maintenance. So I cannot even make emergency calls let alone normal phone calls without Wi-Fi calling. When I went outside to see what happened, the guy standing there said that I had to talk to the boss. So he finally gets the boss over there in the boss tells me there's nothing he can do. Basically tells me oh well, they shouldn't have put the cable there. He was rude and cussed me out and scared my little brother with his abrupt language. So just beware if you have elderly or disabled or children because they are not professional and they are crass and very rough around the edges. And then there is the total incompetence in doing the job with tearing down a fence and my cable. I'm just glad that none of the trees were around the electrical line as I am sure they would have carelessly cut that as well. Very disappointing in page where customer service is supposed to be Paramount. I just went outside and noticed that they stole my ladder. It was leaning against my shed in the backyard. Since I have a fenced front yard no one has access and I have a camera pointing at it. They all swear they don't know where my ladder went but they are the only ones that could have taken it and they were working right there. read more

Can not rate have not used but they have horrible drivers. They need to pay attention when doing u turn at Elam rd and Buckner blvd they always go into the other lane. Almost got hit on August 17th, 2018 it was around 7:08am & was not first time it happens. They turn in middle of intersection just to go to 7-11. They need to be more careful. The trees were down and the limbs removed in less than an hour and that included clean up. The stumps were ground with care given to my sprinkler system. These guys are real pros at there profession.
