I called Albert's and Marvin responded right away. He asked if he could come in 30 mins and give a quote and he showed up right on time. He looked at what I needed and gave a fair quote to trim a large tree in front of my house. When I agreed to the price he said his team was finishing a job nearby and could come do mine in an hour. I agreed and again, they were right on time. The tree was trimmed perfectly and looks great! Some of my neighbors trees look butchered by other companies, but mine looks perfectly manicured. I needed a couple of trees removed from my back yard, and another one trimmed, so I came to Yelp, got 3 quotes, and these guys won the bid... by a lot. I called Marvin to tell him, and the crew showed up 3 hours later the same day! That's fast. 4 guys did the whole job, including clean up, in about 2 hours. Also fast. Daniel and the experts showed up at my house in Wylie, on time as promised. They immediately started working and cut down a huge Sycamore tree that I thought was a Cottowood tree. It was huge, and they cut it down and grinded the stump perfectly. He also cut down a dead pine tree at a low cost. The entire project was a tad bit less expensive than other tree companies. I had 7 trees trimmed. The biggest one was hanging over my roof and I had it shortened and thinned out to prevent damage to my house. They did a great job. No damage to the house. They cleaned up well after they were done. They left me firewood nicely piled up and mulched the small limbs. Price was good. They came an hour after I got a quote from the owner/salesman. Mr. Marvin was very helpful and he kind of fit my budget. Even though my siblings asked for little bit lower price. I understand my parent's 3 big trees and a small tree haven't been trimmed for roughly 5 to 6 yrs. The winter ice storm caused serious damage to our 2 large oaks in the front yard, I contacted Albert's Tree Service to get an estimate on removal of damaged branches, I received the most affordable estimate ever and they were able to clean up the trees better than we pictured and cleaned up everything afterwards.. I had a large limb fall onto another limb, where it was precariously hanging partially over my fence and threatening my neighbor's roof. Marvin and his crew came out to quote the removal within 2 hours of my call and said they could take care of it immediately, which they did with amazing efficiency and skill. They took care to move our outdoor grill out of harm's way, and they went over the yard with a leaf blower when they were done. The fee ($100) seemed very reasonable for the work (which involved a guy scaling the tree) and the emergent nature of the situation. I had them quote general tree trimming for the 5 trees on my property, and they quoted $1600, which seems very fair as compared to quotes of $2600 and $4600 from two other companies. I'm not sure they're insured, which makes me hesitant to use them for a large-scale job. However, they'll definitely be the guys I call for any smaller needs. read more
