He rresponded quickly and came out to measure and look at what needed to be done.  He gave me several options to choose from.  We agreed on a plan and a rough price and he said he would get me a written estimate.  I woke up the next morning and the estimate was in my inbox.  A few days later Sal and his crew arrived and got to work.  The did an excellent job.  They were very polite, cleaned up so well that it looks better behind my house than before they got there.  I would definitely recommend Sal, and plan to use him to do the upkeep and maintenance in the future. read more

My skylight started leaking. I called Sal and he came out the next morning. Apparently the skylight was installed incorrectly. Sal gave us a couple of options and completed the work that morning. He was extremely pleasant and professional. He even thoroughly cleaned the area and the skylight. After a heavy rain Sal even checked in to make sure we were not having any issues. Had a leak coming in from somewhere on the street-facing 2nd or 3rd story wall of my rowhouse in center city, which I've suspected is from aging/degradation of caulk at the seams. Sal was highly professional, efficient, and communicative. He came to my house the same week I contacted him, assessed the exterior and interior of the property for the source of leak, gave me a fair estimate, purchased a sample of the replacement caulk to be sure I was okay with the color (which I highly appreciated given it was going on the front of the property), and then quickly completed high-quality work that same morning. The work was not easy, requiring ladders going up to the 2nd and 3rd stories, but he and is crew member completed everything (from assessment, purchasing materials, actual repair, and cleanup) in under 3.5 hours. His quote was also significantly less than the 1 other contractor I contacted via Thumbtack (who also planned to just use clear silicone rather than color-matched caulk). Sal also left me with the leftover bottle of caulk should I ever need another repair in the future. Would use his services again without hesitation. read more

Salvador was recommended to me by another contractor who didn't have time for our project. He has been extremely responsive, came to look at the job and measure, and we discussed options. I added a few side projects in and he was like, no problem, we can do that. He has a terrific system that messages when the bid is ready, allows you to review online and accept, and then provides ways to make the down payment. We chose the date for the work and he and Ruben were here on time as promised, and were very efficient. They removed old vinyl flooring, installed new luxury vinyl plank flooring, threshold transitions, and repaired several sections of ceiling that were damaged by a leak years ago. All in all, they did an excellent job. I thought the price was fair; a good value. Finally, Sal is old school. He comes, he works, he cleans up, and he is there until the work is done.
