This was my first time to their new store front and I was very impressed. The showroom that they had a was pretty great. All the lawnmowers, blowers, tractors, weedwackers were there to allow you to lay you hands on them. I had stop for a new chainsaw. I had been planning on a new chainsaw for the past couple years. Here I got to test lines and models of the Stihl brand. They had the entire range from recreational user to professional. The staff was very informative and helpful. They even to the chainsaw out back and fired it up with it 1st tank of gas. The guys behind the counter are very knowledge and will answer any question that you have. If you are in need a new piece of equipment for the farm or the yard definitely stop by Fletchers.

I bought a GreenWorks electric mower on amazon. After 2 years, it would not start but it was…read moresupposed to be covered by a warranty. The 'warranty' repair shop that Greenworks first referred me to told me it'd be three weeks before they could even look at the mower. Well, that's not going to work when the lawn is already starting to look like some kind of a wild nature diorama. Enter Steel City Mower & Plow. These guys knew right away what my mower's problem was, they got me in right away, fixed it right away, and were even able to take care of all of the repairs as covered under warranty. They're friendly and easy to talk to. Very happy! Pro tip: When you come in from Library Road, go down the driveway in between the buildings; they're in the back on the lower level.

I was told Brian would call me back. A week later I call back, they tell me they "just" received my part and they could fix it. No apologies, and no reasons why no one ever contacted me. Told them I would just pick up my item and take it elsewhere, Bill tells me "but I just told you we have your part". Also tells me when I tell him it's ridiculous I didn't hear from anyone in over a month "I agree to disagree". They look like you do plenty of business, so taking my business elsewhere won't really affect them, but I just couldn't give them my business. There's a ton of competition out there, I'd suggest finding elsewhere to go.

Any business can stock their shelves with endless merchandise, but very few can back up their products and services with the level of knowledge and dedicated service found underneath this roof. Its usually my go- to for screen repairs and replacement. Other services include key- making, glass cutting, equipment rentals, small engine repair and so on. This family owned business is an asset to the community and a refreshing alternative to chain box stores. Consistent staff and consistent service is obviously key to their longevity.

The employees seem eager to help anyone with their projects and are very friendly. They also offer a few more services that range from propane and kerosene fill ups, fencing estimates and bids, small engine repair shop, and pellet stove sales, service, and parts. The Stihl selection is great, too. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has questions about their home or equipment. A great local hardware store for people in the Youngwood, New Stanton, Ruffsdale, and Mt. Pleasant area.
