The 3rd move was in November 2020. This time the owner was not present and the employees were careless. They dragged the furniture across the floors of my new house. I asked them several times to please pick the furniture up but they didn't. They left deep gouges in the hardwood floors. I immediately sent pictures of the to the owner. He first told me that the scratches caused by dragging the piano would not repaired because his employees are not allowed to move pianos. He said he would, however, take care of the other ones. I told him Indidnt know they were not allowed to move pianos and if that was against their policy then the employees should have told me. I have called and texted him many times since then to arrange to have my floors repaired and he will not respond. On the first 2 moves, he asked me to leave him a good review. After many months of getting nowhere with calls and texts, I told him that I was going to leave him a bad review. He immediately responded that he would sue me for slander. 9 months later and I am still waiting for my floors to be repaired.

I will preface by saying I have moved a lot for work from coast to coast and it has never been more of a disorganized move than my most recent one with this company. First, they were an hour and a half late to arriving at my place. They showed up unprepared and were therefore inefficient causing the moving process to be longer (of course, you pay by the hour right?). They came with no dolly or materials to help them move boxes quickly and so they moved each box one by one. When they were loading the truck, they even had the nerve to stack boxes on my office chair and use my chair as a dolly!! Absolutely NOT! While loading the truck, did I forget to mention that they broke my mirror and responded with a "my bad"?!?! When it was time to travel to the next house, they left about 10 minutes ahead of me and as I'm driving on the road, I see their truck pulling out of Walmart!! Were they taking a break on my dime?!? Smh who knows... needless to say, I beat them to the new house and waited an additional 30 minutes before they finally arrived. They "got lost". Not sure how since it was the exact address but ok. When everything was finally moved in, the guy tried to charge us for the entire time and not compensate for the mirror that was broken or even their inefficiency. He ended up taking an $60 off but that was hardly enough to compensate for all of the drama we experienced that day. So like I said, I would NOT recommend. I chose them because they had really good reviews on here...must have been family members... ok I'll stop because now I'm being petty.

U-Haul renters beware!!! I rented a truck from another state and turned it in at this location…read more The truck was in better condition than when I rented it. It was rented with 3/4 tank of gas and I even returned it with a full tank. When I received the confirmation email that I had turned the truck in, I noticed a cleaning charge for 25.00. I called and was told the truck was filthy and needed cleaned. I then called U-haul (main number) and they looked at the cleaning charge on the invoice and said it seemed "strange" because the dealer is supposed to upload photos of anything that needs cleaned and no photos were uploaded. The UHaul operator put me on hold and called the dealer (a perfect storage-Taylors, SC). The UHaul operator said the lady at a perfect storage told her the truck was full of gravel and white pebbles. I'm attaching a photo of the truck just before I turned it in. It looks clean to me.

We started with the previous company Simpsonville Self Storage and the owner named Steven. I had picked this storage unit for my mother moving from Texas. When I arrived back from Texas I was surprised the company had been purchased and they had no record of my previous reservation with Steven from Simpsonville Storage. Oh goodness what a mess, I soon learned the previous owner had lied to me and didn't bother to reserve or pass on any information even though it had only been a week. (He knew the business was up for sale and purposely lied to me and mislead me). Upon working with Karen at the new company, She helped me figure out all the paper work and managed to get me a unit the same day! Karen, is amazing! I was in a pickle for sure, and she was able to make it all work for us. I have been very impressed with her service and would recommend this storage facility. Its clean and the new company cares.

First, when they moved our washing machine, they knocked the sink off of the wall and spilt the blue liquid detergent all over the carpet, so my husband had to rent a carpet machine to clean up the mess and make repairs. Second, I had to ask multiple times for them to wrap the computer screen on my peloton. It was loaded into the truck still unwrapped, but they finally did it as I stood there and watched. But the biggest mess up was them failing to wrap a new expensive leather chair that I told them when we walked through the house to wrap and that it was expensive...to please be careful. Well, they didn't wrap it, and I didn't monitor every move. (And my husband was occupied with renting a carpet cleaner and fixing the sink being knocked off the wall!) I was devastated to find my chair with BLACK SHARPIE on it that transferred over from a box sitting on it!!! Of course no ownership was taken. The response from Cornelius was that they had pads, but they couldn't leave them with us. What?!? We had plastic wrap leftover that wasn't used! Nor did he ask me if I had other blankets!!! Of course other items were damaged and broken like both of my kids' desks and a chunk taken out of my son's nightstand due to poor packing and not wrapping. I posted another chair too. But the leather chair!!!!! BAD BAD service!!!
