The movers were nice and polite but were slow. Very,very slow. It took them 5 hours to load, way, way over the estimated 3.5 hour time. I asked them to pick up the pace as it was taking way too long and dark outside. By the time they left my total time was 9 hours and 50 minute. I paid more than twice what I was quoted. Right away I got good vibes just by speaking to the owner over the phone. He ask me what size unit I had and where it was going. Then gave me a flat moving rate that I approved of. On moving day I had some issues getting my apartment so I was 15min late to the unit. They were nice enough to patiently wait until I arrived. Moving started at 1pm with the help of another guy they went straight to work. They moved my stuff from the storage to the truck in like a hour. Which I was surprised because the company who moved me to my storage had three people and took way more time then that. I was so pleased because everything was finally going right. When they got to the apartment they immediately got to unloading everything. They even chatted with me a lot as we discussed my new apartment and how I could had gotten a better rate elsewhere. (if only I knew them sooner) They were really friendly which is what southern hospitality is all about. What I expected to be a scary situation turned out to be a win overall. They said they would call me 3-4 days before the move to go over details with me, that never happened. I finally called them a few days before the move, where someone immediately and very rudely told me that they couldn't move me. They said they were booked up, and didn't have the men. Another guy then tried to tell me that it was an "IT issue" with their central office, not their fault so they couldn't do anything. Through trying to complain about this issue, I was connected back to them and spoke to somebody else. This time his excuse was that a "truck broke down" after I scheduled my move. I do not believe a single one of their ever-shifting excuses. Sure, they're giving me my deposit back and "taking responsibility", but none of that helps me when I have to be out of my place in less than a week. He just kept insisting that someone else can do it (and would not listen when I told him that I did the legwork already and that wasn't true). Do not book with this awful, scam of a company. They will cancel your move and completely screw you over and do nothing to make it right outside of the barest possible minimum.

I called everyone from Two Men and Truck to other local companies, and everyone gave me slots for the next week or two weeks out. KP Haulings called me back and said they were available Friday!! :D The gentlemen showed up at our old place 30 minutes early and due to a snafu with our ISP, only my wife was at the current place to greet them. They showed her great respect, it was nothing but "yes ma'ams and no ma'aams" the whole time. Not only were they able to get all of our big furntiure but they were able to get some of our bins and boxes as well. Once they got to our new place, the stairs and low ceiling at our front door proved a bit tricky for our bed frame and couch but the movers took their time and overcame the challenge! They finished the job in less time than quoted which is always a plus. They were professinal, courteous, efficient, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend them if you need a moving service.

One year later, they moved our furniture into our newly built home. It was a repeat performance. These guys are amazing and care about your belongings and your home.
