I still haven't received any kind of explanation, just a half-hearted "apology" for wasting my time and money. Would never recommend them to anyone. I understand that things happen and that maybe something happened and the movers couldn't make it but the fact that the company didn't communicate any information to me or offer any help when they obviously made a booking mistake is unacceptable.

Booking: The user experience from the bellhops website is so user friendly, with no extra fluff to distract or confuse potential clients- something I really appreciate when I was "shopping around". Following the great website, the customer service when booking on the phone was quick, easy and the agent was very informative and friendly. They are priced competitively and fair, and knowing how great of a service I was going to receive, would have gladly paid twice the amount. I booked my reservation for help with loading a POD container 2 weeks out, but also called 2 days before to see if there was any availability to move up my losing time slot on the same day. The agent I spoke with said she would call each member of my team to check their schedule and she would let me know. I received a call from the same agent no more than an hour later with my update. Day of Loading: My team lead; Kevin texted me an hour and a half before my 2:00pm start time to introduce himself, asked if I had any questions, and offered to pick up any tools or items needed for the loading. I wasn't expecting this at all, but can't be more appreciative of the customer attention and service! Team: Kevin, Claude, and Jeffery were PHENOMENAL! They were incredibly professional, efficient and very friendly. They made a conscious effort to take care of all of our items and wrap each piece of furniture as if it were their own. I'd love to give a special shout out to Kevin, as he was also making a point to teach his team as he saw any "mistakes" or "inefficiencies", it was nice to see a strong team dynamic like that. After load: Once the team was finished and they had "clocked out", I immediately received a text message from bellhops asking me to review and confirm the hours and prices. The technology used by bellhops is far above any other moving company, and being in tech myself makes me want to categorize them as a technology firm that specializes in moving. OVERALL: I wish Bellhops was in CA, so I could hire them for our unloading after our move! I love the technology used by bellhops and especially their feature to rate each customer service call through their message. LOOK NO FURTHER AND HIRE BELLHOPS!

A young man answered the phone and was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least. After greeting him, I asked for his pricing on packing? He stopped me mid sentence and said what kind of packing-dishes. Tried to continue my conversation, but again was cut off with him trying to rudely explain his business. When he took a breath, I told him I understood and needed my home packed for a move. I then asked for his name and if he was the owner. He was very abrupt in telling me to be specific about what I wanted, but still didn't identify himself. I said ok, this is not starting out well. He continued to lecture me about the moving business. I tried to let him know I was familiar with it and as a retired executive, I had been moved 13 times by professional movers like United,Global and the likes, but he was not listening and was too busy trying to school me. I am taking the opportunity to let him know that it is important to listen to potential customers FIRST, so you don't lose out on potential clients. You will have to be more specific about packing and provide an inventory of whats all need to be packed to have a count of everything. Just by providing information "the entire home" isnt enough detail for a potential move. Call us back and provide SPECIFIC detail of whats needed to be packed.
