There was a bit of a snafu with their arrival time but when they arrived, they got immediately to work. They loaded and boxed and wrapped furniture, along with packing the big things I couldn't. They were loaded by lunch time, took a lunch break and arrived at my new location ready to go. The second location had steps and they all took turns getting things upstairs. They placed a big cabinet inside the very large closet of one bedroom, which was a great idea and took up less floor space in the bedroom. They were done about 4 hours later. Through the whole process, everyone was cheerful, hard working and thorough. If I ever have to move again, and I pray that I won't, I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

They showed up early and were already backed up to my gate with the Uboxes open and ready to start loading. They scheduled my move for two hours and finished in one hour! They carefully wrapped all of my furniture in moving blankets and packed my stuff into the boxes so that the next movers, who will be moving me into my new apartment in a new city, won't have any issues. Lost Over $5,000 Due to This Company!!!!…read more ***Review for atlasmovingcompany.co*** formerly atlasmovingcompany.com, in Utah I hired Atlas Moving Company in December 2025 and the experience cost me over $5,000 in total losses. Here is the breakdown: Initial payment for services: $2,000 (company failed to complete move, didn't finish apartment clean, left behind bedroom furniture) Property destroyed by rat infestation: $2,500 (caused by company storing garbage near my belongings) Key replacement: $300 (company failed to return my car, house and mail keys) Additional storage costs and gauging: Stored my items in unauthorized storage unit, Apex Storage, and failed to obtain my permission to do so. They failed to place my name with Apex, and Apex denied me access to my belongings. The company withheld my property for weeks and I had to file a police report to track down my belongings and get them returned. When they were returned, extensive damage had occurred due to rats attracted by improperly stored garbage. Public records show the company was **dissolved** by the State of Utah during our transaction, and only reinstated after police involvement. The company has been unresponsive to my attempts to resolve this matter. Litigation pending ... warning ... they've branched into Idaho, beware Idaho!! This has been an expensive lesson. I strongly recommend using a different moving company!!!

I would leave a lower rating if that were possible. We only had five items moved: one bed, a bed…read moreframe, two medium-sized dressers, and a shoe rack. What should have been a simple job turned into an extremely frustrating and expensive experience--especially as a pregnant customer. The movers spent an excessive amount of time struggling with the bed frame. They repeatedly acted as though the bolts were too tight or that they didn't have the right tools, and it felt like they were intentionally dragging out the process to increase the total cost. My dad came down to see if they needed help or another tool, and suddenly after nearly an hour and a half they "figured it out." Even then, the bed frame was not properly disassembled; it was bent, damaged, and essentially split in half instead of being taken apart correctly. They then spent another 30 minutes just trying to get the bed out of the house. The remaining smaller items were moved within the next hour or so. In total, the job took about three hours and cost $586, which was absolutely not worth it. The time and price felt heavily inflated. After everything was delivered, the movers had to call their boss, yet they did not stop the charge clock for an additional 20 minutes while waiting for him to answer. As a pregnant customer, this added stress, lack of efficiency, and disregard for fairness was unacceptable. I would not recommend this company, especially for anyone who expects honesty, efficiency, or consideration.

I had to move temporarily to a storage unit. They did not leave blankets or ask me if I wanted my furniture covered to protect it. They slid things across the top of my wood furniture, banged into them, and even walked on top of them without any protection on the pieces! When we moved the furniture to my house, we found footprints on both wood furniture and my couches! Then, they get you to sign off on a measley 60 cents per pound before you even know if there are any damages. So, I am going to have to foot most of the bill to fix THEIR damage!
