It's a gas station. That means highly likely I will not need to deal with anyone. And most of the time, I don't. I self-serve my gasoline. On this last trip I added a carwash to my gas purchase because my car was filthy. For 9 bucks ($10 less $1 discount) for The Works car wash, yes it is steep but it is touchless, which I do prefer. The undercarriage spray works well. The multiple soapy spray cleaned my 20-year old car nicely. Gas is gas. But I like to get good quality gas and I believe in techron, lol. Our cars are pretty old, all 20 or more years old and (knock on wood) still working decently. I always stick with Chevron, unless where I am it's not available. So I don't complain much about the price. It's how the market operates. If I do complain about the price then I will go get an electric car (which I will one day..) This Chevron is the cleanest gas station I have come across in a long time! And, I have only seen maybe one Chevron (which was in L.A.) that was just a bit cheaper. The station's air machine always works, its restroom is very clean, and the products are well-supplied. The employees are also super friendly and helpful. For example, the points on my Chevron app disappeared after an update, and Jose helped me to get those same points back. He is so cordial and willing to help, and even reminded me to put in my Chevron loyalty number (I would have forgotten otherwise). Maira is another employee who deserves attention. She took the time to make sure my loyalty number applied to my purchase (it did not on the first try), and even ran to open the door for me when she noticed that I had a bad leg/limp. Faeza, the store manager, was actually cleaning the store when she asked (with a huge smile) if I found everything okay. It seems that she is definitely leading the employees in creating a friendly and clean atmosphere. I do drive a bit out of the way, just to put in gas at this Chevron, enjoy its fresh coffee, and have a friendly conversation with its employees. Doing so is a great way to have a "feel good" start in the day! read more

I wish I could give them negative 5 stars! Ugh!!I just had an awful experience at this extra mile chevron. We are regular customers we have a 2021 Suburban, 2024 Dodge Ram, 2012 Lexus RX 350, and 2021 Chevy spark. My husband only uses this gas station with his Chevron credit card because of the benefits and savings. After today we will never use this gas station or mini mart ever again over $2.06 . Although it is the most convenient and closest location for us.After already having a bad day and my husband, realizing he left the fob to our vehicle in the garage since we live local he had to walk back home in the very hot heat, leaving me at the gas station with our three dogs in the Dodge ram. I went into the minimart to get some refreshments since it was blazing hot, and I needed a large bottle of water for my dogs. I got an extra large cherry Coke and an extra large Coke Slurpee.. once I got back in the car waiting for my husband. I took a sip of the cherry Coke. It was awful. It tasted like water down Coke not even cherry Coke. They needed to change the syrup so I decided to go inside the store, and I politely explained to the woman, the manager Raza. She told me no I was not allowed to exchange the cherry Coke for a regular Coke because I should've tasted it.? I politely said no I never taste my soda before I fill it up because I expect it to be the product displayed and to be kept up. They clearly needed to change the syrup as it was running low. That's why the beverage tasted awful. She refused to let me exchange it so I looked at her and I said fine. I'll buy a new Coke. I said how then I supposed to taste that? I don't see any testing cups around here what if the Coke is lousy? I also told her I found the way she was treating me quite cheap and unprofessional that it's not my responsibility to be tasting the soda before fill up my cup that I never do that and the few times I've ever had this happen, every where else they have been gracious and thankful for bringing it to their attention and always let me replace the beverage, I'm not some kind of scammer. I don't know what she was thinking. I paid her the $2.06 for the new Coke which tasted fabulous. I told my husband what had just happened as he just arrived back to the gas station and I told him to just let it go. but he went inside the store where he told them like I did that what they did was an awful business practice .We spend hundreds of dollars gassing up all four of our cars weekly which comes out to $1000 plus dollars a month. Then she had the nerve to lie to my husband and say I did not explain the situation that I said didn't like the way it tasted I which is completely a lie and incorrect. Like I said have been through this before and I've never had problems before. So anyways, we will be going down the street to Lampson near the golf course from now on to get our gas. They just lost thousands and thousands of dollars a year over two bucks so neighborhood just beware. Also, she belittled my husband over the two dollars the same thing she wouldn't give me the courtesy of returning to me and she threw the two dollars at him and still snubbed us because the coke cost $2.06.... It's not an issue of money we could care less about two dollars it's about the service or lack of and total disrespect to loyal customers. read more

My tire needed some air but I never used air compressor with stick meter before. Jose helped me out. He patiently showed me how to use it on a hot day :) What a nice guy. This girl never wears her mask properly. Idk my job wouldn't allow that. The store had at least 5 customers all wearing their mask properly. I would of been writen up if I didn't follow policy. This virus has everyone paranoid and for her not to care is poor customer service. Great customer service. Cashiers are very friendly and kind. The gas station is very clean.

They have a touchless car wash with three options. They only take card NO CASH. They even have monthly options available. I got the works which is the most expensive at $10. No brushes touch the car just liquids at high pressure. The only thing they need to improve is on the drying part, it still leaves the car pretty wet so you have to dry it with a rag. They also have vaccuums for $2 available but I know other touchless carwash that include it for free read more

I was stuck here for a few minutes trying to figure out why my card declined. March 7th 2023 at 7:30-8pm at night my bank Chase decides to cancel my cards without giving me proper notice so I could have some cash on hand just in case I need something. So I'm stuck and I have two special needs kids in the car having a debate with a chase rep why they can't help me and just allow me to use my credit card to get enough gas to go home. Yet they allowed someone to do repeat charges (more than 10 different charges) and overdraw my account. Anyhow the clerk at the station gave me 10 dollars to get enough gas to go home and did not tell me his cash app so I could pay him back! There's these rare times when I feel like there's truly so many good people in this world today. This man humbled me and I truly hope he reads this review. Thank u sir ! I had a problem at this carwash and decided to give them another chance. I had a subscription to this carwash and exclusively washed my car here. They either don't use distilled water or don't use enough in their final rinse. This resulted in many hard water spots that I now need to try and get removed by a detailer. My car was new and had no waterspots when I started using this wash. Save yourself a bunch of time and money by going somewhere else. read more

I said I just filed up my tank. She pressed me for a receipt. She also had such a bad attitude when I told her i did not request a receipt from the machine. This Chevron is supposedly going to be knocked down and rebuilt very soon according to the neighborhood scuttlebut. It well lit, has easy access to Valley View Ave. It does have a convenience store in case of a sudden attack of the munchies. Take note that there are no restrooms here. The clerk at this location (Abbas or babbas) is rude and incompetent. Bought a pack of cigarettes and was given the wrong pack. The pack i was given Were more expensive. He would not allow me to exchange them or return them After I offered to pay the difference in cost. He told me to take the cigarets or leave them after I had already paid for them. After arguing with him... And having him tell me over and over again That I had paid for the wrong pack of cigarettes i left. This gas station is now open. This review is for the car wash. BEWARE...if your vehicle is older or has been painted or maybe even a few dings you may end up with more missing paint after the car wash. I received a coupon for the car wash so I just put in the code. I did not see any disclaimers about possible damages. I have mentioned this problem to the Manager, via one of the employees, so hopefully there is a disclaimer (perhaps on a large sign before entering). However, I did notice someone drove in the wrong way one day. lol... On the bright side, it has caused me to look into the benefits/risks of the different types of car washes available today. read more

Just make sure you use your card instead of paying for cash. The cashier entered $25 on my pump and I handed her $30 (a 20 and a 10)--I didn't notice until the pump was done. I told nicely her about the mistake and she got all defensive that I gave her a 20 and a 5. She was busy chatting on the phone (and picking her nose) when I paid her. I didn't bother to hold the line just for $5 bucks (karma can be a bitch) but if this has happened to other people before we're definitely funding her lunch. read more

The restrooms at this gas station have been our of order for 2 years now. No not really. They have a permanent out of order sign posted on their restrooms and only allow a few select customers to use it. They actually didn't allow me to use their restrooms and I was wearing a suit on my way to work! lol. Look, I understand that you don't want bums or drug addicts to use your restrooms, but many of us are your regular customers for many years. I can handle being told no, but I don't like being lied to. I get AMEX gift cards from time to time and I asked the East Gate Chevron clerk to authorize it for $30. She stated the system was down. Next I asked her if she could take my Chase Visa and she said, yes. I replied with, "I thought you just said your system was down?" After having experience using these gift cards over the years, I explained to her how it works with the pre-authorization. Then she changed her words and told me they only take 76 gift cards. I conversed with the lady for awhile to try and get her to come clean about lying, but it wasn't gonna happen. I like Chevron gas, but this station won't get my business. I'll never know if they could have taken it or not, because I won't go back. I could have paid cash or regular visa, but after that I left and went down the street to the Mobil station and filled up.
