CUTE ARCHITECTURE! I love the Westminster aesthetic which combines quaint European culture with well-known store franchises. This Walgreens is neat on the outside, but pretty basic on the inside. I also felt it was a little empty in the front (near the register), it lacked products and staff. I came in on a Friday and was not greeted, a little more customer service would go a long way in otherwise sleepy store like this. The rest of the store is well-stocked with gifts, flowers and stuffed friends (Squishmallows). I found an excellent supply of CHANSEY Squishmallows from Pokemon and my heart was overjoyed. We came in to buy some flowers for a deceased relative down the street at the Westminster Memorial. My parents said the single roses were $5 each and the bouquets were very expensive! We adapted and bought some flowers, but this felt a little excessive on the store's part. This location is right off Beach and has a 30 min. parking limit. read more

I tried to check out at the register at 8:22 AM today. I wanted to use my $10 gift card from Walgreens that I got from Bilt credit card. Which iwalgreen has a sign on the door that says they partner with. However, I was denied that privilege. She refused to scan the barcode from my iPhone and she also refused to enter the number manually. Her name is Maria. Her name tag says lead shift supervisor. She needs more training and needs to be better informed. I loved her professionalism throughout our tense interaction. However, she did insinuate that I was a scammer, which was extremely insulting and degrading. I'm not sure what lead her to that conclusion. In the end, we both kept our composure. Well I had to because I was with my nine month old baby whom was sitting in a stroller and observing her father's action/reactions. So my daughter and I ended up walked out of there without my 2 L'Oréal hair dye, Olay Regenerist face cream, Olay Eye cream, and my daughter without her toy pig that wiggled its tail (a little overpriced in my opinion). I came to pick up medication for my brothers. They told me to wait 15 minutes and when I came back another worker said it would take another hour. I came back after the hour and they only had enough for half his prescription and told us to come back after a few days. We came back and it's still not ready. 2 weeks later and it's still not ready. They could've referred us to a different pharmacy or communicated effectively. Taking medication isn't optional. This is extremely concerning. read more

My visit was on 05/17/2026, 6:52pm at this store. That evening, I tripped, fell, scrapped my knee so I was looking for the closest pharmacy where I could buy first aid and dress my wound. I came in this stored injured, asked the cashier if I could use the restroom to do first aid on my wound WITH the first aid that I would buy from them. The cashier repeatedly denied us access to restroom. When I was looking for first aid, I heard the toilet flush sound, and within a minute, I saw one of their associates walked out from the restroom. I bought their first aid and had to drive to the nearby Walmart to do wound care. They have ZERO sympathy with PAYING customer. Make me wonder why they should have any customer at all. read more

This is my go to for pharmacy pick up because they have the option of drive-through pick up and it's open 24/7. I do kind of have a hate hate relationship with it because I feel like even though the pharmacists are knowledgeable and professional, they are just understaffed. The drive-through is convenient, but usually there is a line a couple cars along no matter what time in the evening or night you go The upside of going this route is you don't have to deal with other people's germs even though you feel a little lazier. The in person pick up a bit faster, but usually there is a little bit of line and encounter people wheezing or coughing. They do take FSA insurance card obviously but my experience have to use the physical card for it to not be declined rather than Apple Pay read more

The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The people working here are incompetent. They gave me wrong information and dispensed my medication incorrectly. I had to return here twice in the same day to ask them to fix their mistakes. If you do have to come here, I recommend double checking that the medication they dispense to you is correct before you leave. Will never return here again. read more

This Walgreens has been my go-to now ever since they closed the one on Goldenwest :( I must say I do miss that location A LOT. I knew all the staff there & it was nicely kept, plus the pharmacy was never busy when I'd go pick up my monthly pick up (Birth Control Pills). This location is just very packed, but I'm assuming and taking a well educated guess that it's because a huge majority of the customers from Goldenwest transferred their prescriptions to this location which makes sense that there'd be more people waiting for pharmacy pick ups. My latest pick up wasn't at all great, the pharmacist that took care of me was very dismissive and walked away from me soon as I was about to ask a question. I would've said something but I saw how bad the drive thru portion of the pharmacy was when I decided to step inside and just said to myself, "Well fuck it, she's busy & stressed". I never really had that issue at my other Walgreens pharmacy. If you're having a good day and in a good mood. Prepare to have that taken from you if you're getting medicine. Every time I come here the pharmacist I deal with is always rude and disrespectful. No matter who it is, I don't know what it is about this place. It's like they have a culture of being rude to their patients. I was shocked when even a young Vietnamese girl was rude and disrespectful to me. In our culture, we are taught to revere and pay homage to our elders. The way this young girl talked to me in her rude tone was very disrespectful. I hope upper manage is reading this and better manages this whole pharmacy. I asked the cashier (Vietnamese gal) about price matching and she called for the manager out loud, and while the manager acknowledged her employee's call, the manager continued to walk away and even mocked the cashier's accent. Nice experience at the drive-in pharmacy. Came here one afternoon for a Covid test through their drive-in pharmacy. I had scheduled my appointment online in advance. I drove straight up to the pharmacy and only had one person in front of me on a weekday afternoon. Didn't have to wait long before I pulled up to the window. The lady behind the glass spoke to me through a microphone and checked my appointment confirmation number as well as my ID before going over the test instructions. Super simple, very fast and efficient. I took the test in 30 seconds, and put a sealed bag with a sample right into the metal box next to the window. My results came back in two days. If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all management sucks here, they don't care about customers or providing good service. I've done about two curbside pickups here where I've come to pick it up and it's not at the store. The first one was a bigger order and they sent me an email thanking me for picking up my order but they didn't have it when I arrived. Luckily the manager was there to pick up the items I was supposed to receive but didn't give an explanation as to what happened with the order. Second curbside pickup I did, I was on my way and the item that I ordered was already picked up. Asked one of the leads and she said to come back in 10 mins because she was going to check for me. Then came back 10 mins said to come back the next day because her manager wasn't there? Managed to get her to give me a refund. But seriously they should be more careful with who they're giving the pickups to. One of the cashiers gave me a hard time there when I asked for a receipt. I know they don't do it for curbside, but I've had some employees tell me they can do it so I know it's possible. He looked dead inside and told me it was impossible to give me receipt. I had to go to emergency room last night and they sent a prescription over to Walgreens. The one we normally use. This morning we get a phone call. They do not have the medicine won't have it for a couple of days if we can't wait to go to a different Walgreens, courtesy where they found a Walgreens that had it and told us where to go we had to. They said they might have it at Fullerton we live in Westminster. My husband, calls Fullerton to get the address. And verify. he drives all the way to Fullerton to find out. They don't have it. They have it Fountain Valley closer to Westminster. We are now Fountain Valley to contact us to see if they have it. I understand we were out of things, but isn't it a courtesy to find the place that has it rather than you on a wild goose chase? Maybe Costco is better. read more

cool location and has a lot of really good stuff. I like to come here and buy lotion whenever I am coming back from the gym. Anytime I go to the gym I usually get really dry skin. I usually stop at this Walgreens location because they have really good deals and specials on lotion. They have all the types of lotion that I typically like. I like high moisturizing lotions and this location has a bunch of them. I'm super grateful for that aspirin is another thing I usually pick up here. I would not recommend going here to get your vaccination shots... Our appointment was at 1:20pm and we got here at 1:10pm and we were done with paperwork by 1:20-1:30pm. We thought it would go by faster since they finished doing our paperwork and told us to have a seat. Over an hour passed and we asked them what was the wait time and they said they're setting it up. Once they set up, they let the people who came AFTER us get their vaccinations first. They barely got there 30 minutes and were allowed in? We were already frustrated with waiting that long for a 30 second shot, but to not prioritize us was honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced... We finally got the shot at 2:50pm. I received a text confirmation regarding my prescription when activated. Texted later as directed to check status, it said "system is currently down" and to do it online. I tried to go through the online portal and I had to first verify my identity. I tried the online confirmation, it wouldn't work so I had to call. I called and the automated system wouldn't work. After reaching a representative I got it confirmed, after which the website continued to say it wasn't confirmed. So I had to call and go through the entire process again. Finally got through... no prescriptions, although I was contacted via text to confirm my account when the office called them in. MY REVIEW IS BASED OFF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED! First and foremost let me give the BIGGEST SHOUT OUT TO ONE of the nicest cashiers """"T A M I""""... I didn't get her last name, but I am sure this review will reach her! Anyhow, upon walking in, we were greeted, which can totally make some ones day. An act of kindness goes a long way if you ask me! Second: when going to the register, I saw how patience she was with a shopper who seemed to be a couponer. The lady with the coupons knew what she was doing as she was moving fairly quickly and no beeps were coming from the register. I know when standing in line, it can be difficult when someone has a ton load of coupons, but hey there are just trying to save money like us! Anyhow, she was so poised and was very pleasant about it. Afterwards it was actually my turn, and load and behold the lady left some detergents behind, because she didn't have enough coupons. Well I ended up taking them as I too had a few coupons to burn! I walked outta Walgreens with 4 laundry detergents for a little over 4 bucks. I totally felt like a winner lol!!!! Anyhow long story short, it pays to be kind! Even though she could of been rude to the lady in front of me with all the coupons, she was very calm, cool and collective! This place is horrible. I had an appointment for covid testing at 2:30pm. We showed up at 2:15pm but the drive thru was closed. Went inside to ask them and there was a long line at the pharmacy. At least 15 people were waiting in line and they all pissed. Went back outside and the drive thru was opened again. Apparently all of the pharmacists here went on lunch together at the same time. Waited another 35 minutes in the drive thru lane. Wasted over an hour for a simple 2 minute covid testing. read more
