They even have self check out registers!! Gas is priced on par with everyone else. The whole establishment is clean and organized. So my credit card is in a protective sleeve. The man behind the counter then stated that I also need to leave my ID also. I told him that I would show him my ID to show that it was my credit card, but he said if I wanted him to turn the pump on I would have to leave my ID with him. I told him he must be insane because why would I leave both my credit card and my ID just to get gas. I asked him why and he said that is what I want you to do. I said a few choice words for the man to ponder. He then stated that if I needed to cuss I would have to leave. I gave him a few more choice words before I left. He then stated that if I came back he would have me arrested for trespassing. I told him that he did not have to worry about me coming back because I would never ever give my business.

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.

I had been driving for a while and it was really early... so I didn't see that they were charging one price for cards and a lesser for cash! I hate that!! Especially when paying at the pump with your debit card... which might as well be cash. Why in the world do places even do this anymore?!? There's a lot of cool stuff at this exit and it usually has the cheapest prices maybe alongside Bucee's a few miles to the north - or sometimes a little cheaper or more expensive. I've stopped at this gas station several times now and will probably do so again.

There some small key distinctions (#2) that they do better than other locations: :: The men's bathroom: like many other locations there are many stalls, but very few we have a large middle island of sinks along with a dedicated changing table for babies. :: This is likely a move across all other mega Buc-ee's, but I noticed the amount of sandwiches they have our second to none.
